The first mineable dag coin is xdag. Sending xdag is without fees. Pools and miners are the backbone of the network. Without pools is network dead. Solo mining is not possible. You can mine only in the pool. XDAG has a strong community and very skilled developers. I hope this coin has a very good future, because of very quick transactions (because it is dag) and there are no fees.
If you have decided to mine xdag, I recommend xdag.org pool, because it is a group of pools with extra rewards (no other pools do not have extra rewards) witch automatic pool switching. If you will mine in one of the pool from xdag.org group, and unfortunately your pool will be desynchronized, miners will be automatically redirected to the next synced pool in the xdag.org group. This feature has only xdag.org. You can choose from 7 pools (1 CANADA, 1 CHINA,  1 SINGAPORE, 1 FINLAND, 3 GERMANY).
Pool from Finland is the last addad pool, with low ping and very powerful HW. Check www.xdagpool.org for more info. All pools have 10% extra rewards, 5 pools have equal distribution and 1 is better than solo mining a 1 is suitable for solo minig.
Does it worth it to mine XDAG?
Mining all mineable coins is now in very bad condition, of course if you do not have electricity for a bargain or for free.
But if you compare what to mine, mining xdag is not so bad like mining other coins.
XDAG mining calculator you can find here: https://explorer.xdag.org/mining-calculator
The best GPU for mining is NVIDIA.
So if you have NVIDIA GPU. Here is hasharate table:

0 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, Hash: 1517.63 Mh/s, T: 62 °C, Fan: 66%
1 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, Hash: 1120.19 Mh/s, T: 65 °C, Fan: 65%
2 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, Hash: 972.24 Mh/s, T: 51 °C, Fan: 80%
3 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, Hash: 775.03 Mh/s, T: 49 °C, Fan: 58%
4 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, Hash: 613.19 Mh/s, T: 58 °C, Fan: 63%
5 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, Hash: 557.11 Mh/s, T: 59 °C, Fan: 63%
6 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, Hash: 331.06 Mh/s, T: 53 °C, Fan: 63%

For example if you have 1 GTX 1080Ti, according to mining calculator, you can mine every day 41.93 xdag. The current price on https://www.bbx.com (you can there buy and sell xdag) is 0.02 USD.  The daily revenue is 0.838 USD per day. If you compare this revenue with other mineable coins with nvidia GPU, look at https://whattomine.com/, xdag should be the 1st or 2nd in the table, the first is Nicehash-Lyra2REv2  (0.84 USD), but the table has only 2 decimals. This means, if you NVIDIA GPU, the best coin to mine is DAGGER (XDAG).

Dig some DAG - Happy mining. :-)

Interesting since this is gpu&cpu mineable.
So it might be an alternative for mining coins using both resources on your system for alittle additional profit.
