Orinigally published - https://medium.com/@shitcoinofferin/securix-ico-scam-33e907a8072c

Securix ICO founders are just some dudes without any background in crypto. So how the hell are they involved in mining and a project worth 55 million bucks?
Meet Securix ICO Shitadvisors — Navlin Kapoor (Swiss Alps Mining Shitadvisor) and Giovanni Cassagrande (Swachhcoin and other scams)
The idea is the same as Swiss Alps Mining (our regular Shitcoin Reader’s Digest has already exposed this scammy ICO): set up mining centers in places with cheap electricity (either in Swiss Alps or Netherlands) and the deal is on. Investors will get their profit in the beginning of next year (perfect timing, when Ethereum is usually dying and Bitcoin hits rock bottom). Come on, you must be insane to promise that! It’s as if these guys are at a casino, where you gotta play roulette to win. Btw, one of the founders is an ex-croupier. No surprise, here’s the proof: https://www.linkedin.com/in/damian-strauss-b810b6111/
The project’s Github doesn’t give us a single clue about what’s going on. Of course, they’re buying mining hardware, but where are all those smart contracts and e-wallets? If they exist at all.
The profit calculator is ridiculous! Now you know what SEC in SECurix stands for, ’cause you can actually go to jail for this shit!
Do not invest under ANY circumstances!

Hey chill, they just wanted to look better Smiley

Shows how stupid these ico sites are: https://icobench.com/ico/securix  ''10 expert ratings'' and they think it's a 4.3 which is really high for ICOBench, who are these experts anyways?

Conflict of interest: I am the translator for the Securix Bounty campaign.
However, those who read me here know that I do not hesitate to denounce scams if I find them (for the anecdote, I was designated translator for Aircraft, lol)

On the French Section, on September 9 Saint Loup, one of the members of our community, , explained his doubts about the photos (obviously retouched) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4956966.msg45418848#msg45418848

This argument being admissible (and not wanting to work for an ICO scam), I "investigated":
(The original post is in French, I translated it roughly)

Hello Saint Loup,

so I also made the point (and the team check, it's even systematically my first reflex when faced with a project)
But I found other indicators that gave me some confidence (I already wrote it, you have to consider a cluster of presumption rather than a single element).

Of course, thanks to our exchanges (and I thank you for that!) I have gone much further now!

That's why I went a little further on Damian Strauss' CV, noting that the elements he put forward on his biography were corroborated by other sources
(so, that doesn't allow us to have a definitive opinion either. It is always possible to manipulate the data and create digital traces to make a profile credible, but at this stage we talk about spying, and no ICO scammer Cool).

Anyway, the photoshoping of the image is indeed blatant
, just like for other team members (same background, same "style", if you can call it that).

This element must encourage caution, you are right to point it out.

Besides (but I didn't push this path very much), this photo of Damian Strauss seems to be the most easily available on the Internet.

As a result, your question prompted me to take a little more interest in the other members of the team, and more particularly those who were victims of the graphic palette.

Sascha Bouman

"Business Manager", same kind of image processing, same background.

In real, him and hi tatoo, here:

https://dapperebritt.wordpress.com/2016/08/30/sascha-bouman-brengt-fantasy-village-naar-vlaardingen/

Jac Donkersloot

Securix CEO.

He also presents a "suspicious" photo (it's the same on his Linkedin)

We find him here, with the same head, a little less vandalized:

https://myopportunity.com/profile/jac-donkersloot/nw

But especially on this page, which I have just discovered and which relates the different steps of Securix
https://insta-stalker.com/post/BmhxVCXgbHh/

A back photo, not very convincing but it was on September 6th, 3 days ago during a visit of the future premises.
They have nevertheless invested a lot of effort to make their scam credible, you have to recognize them at least that!   Wink

Oh, cherry on the cake we see someone in the cornerwho really looks a lot like Damian... Cheesy

I only do checks on these 2, it seems to me to be more than enough (I did checks on Bredan Stad with the same success, I don't publish it, I didn't do anything else, I didn't do the other members please have fun if you want).

I stop there the investigations Saint Loup, after having spent a few hours there, I do not find the slightest tangible element (other than an impression like as you said "it smells like shit") which allows me to doubt the reality of this ICO (and the elements it puts forward: real estate procedures, addresses, identities, amount of funds...)

On the contrary, I even discovered (once again thanks to you!) additional elements that Securix did not use in its communication and that tend to make them credible![/b]

I don't understand Saint Loup's arguments.
To summarize:

- YES the photos are retouched
- NO, it is not enough to characterize a scam (no identity theft, no digital ID creation) it's just UGLY!

I have already answered these "arguments" 2 weeks ago (and others of the same level by the way)

This does not prevent this member from insisting and I would like to understand the reason for this persistence
(as I have already told him - but he does not read me - if I discovered a single real reason to suspect SECURIX of fraud, I myself would immediately proceed with the scam report, and it is still valid)

It's your opinion, but you still don't know WHY they did that.
IMO I think it was for hidding their faces because I don't recognize Donkersloot neither Bouman.

This does not prevent this member from insisting and I would like to understand the reason for this persistence
(as I have already told him - but he does not read me -
The subject is about the Securix ICO, not me. I don't sell anything. Thank you.

It's your opinion, but you still don't know WHY they did that.

From the moment it is demonstrated (not supposed, demonstrated) that behind these photos the individuals are real, have backcgrounds, have left many digital traces... explain to me how the answer to this question has some interest? (I anticipate: to appear "more beautiful", more "credible" from a marketing point of view - failed, therefore - ? , follow the advice of their communication manager? etc...)

We're agree "your opinion"....
Now, I admit I don't know what to tell you... Roll Eyes

Yes, you are selling your hypothesis (and that's quite respectable)

Now, what you do is more and more like a form of harassment (whether here, or on the French forum). And I repeat, I don't "defend" Securix because I did their translation BUT because I know him better now.
If the project was rotten, I would abandon it without regret.

But I consider it unfair to compromise the efforts of a team with such weak arguments
(and when I talk about compromising, I am of course thinking of the FUD that this kind of debate provokes, the associations of keywords on search engines, etc...)

Damian Strauss's picture is not photoshopped as in creating a new/fake identity, there was indeed excessive use of sharpening/blur and shadows/vignette.

I see 2 verified advisors by icobench(I suppose they are doing KYC as they claim), founder's you tube video, another founder https://www.linkedin.com/in/jac-donkersloot-78831592/ has this in his linkedin:

Quote
Founder and CEO
Company Name SECURIX.IO
Dates Employed Jan 2018 – Present
Employment Duration 9 mos
Location Dubai

SECURIX.IO -
NEXT GENERATION OF MINING

I am not sure why advisors were asked to do KYC test. edited* founders have passed icobench's kyc test.

Probably this is much better:

I completely forgot about this:

Nice building you have there.

Can you explain how 1055 m2 for rent become 10500 m2 on 3 floors?

Also why number on that building is edited? I am pretty sure I saw numbers 17 and 19, what happened to number 17?

People on video, who are they? I couldn't identify any of them as your team members. They seems...static.

Your total ROI in 12 months, 178% - is not sustainable.

Quote
Our monthly reinvestment strategy will result in both higher value and output per token

A: Repurchase SRXIO tokens from the market and burn them.
B: Purchase new hardware and improve our facility and infrastructure

How much money will I earn if I invest 10000$ and compound it for next 5 years?

Hello,

1: That is an older picture where a little unit was for rent, we can use up to 3 floors.
About the numbers 17/19, in The Netherlands you can make multiple units inside a location each unit will have their own building number. This means that if this building has 10 units, it will result in 10 unit numbers which can be 17a, 17b, 17c, 18a, 18b, 18c and so on.

The people on the video are us, you can identify us at those video’s they zoom in on our faces as well. We will upload our introduction video’s on YouTube + on our white paper which you can view at https://www.securix.io you can see our team plus their LinkedIn profiles links.
We strive for full transparency so here are the inside pictures as well with us inside of the location.

https://MVP.securix.io/INSIDELOCATION.jpg

https://MVP.securix.io/INSIDELOCATION6.jpg
https://MVP.securix.io/INSIDELOCATION7.jpg

2: The return on investment is sustainable, the crypto mining thrives. The 178% you just mentioned is including the bonus, we gave the option to look without bonus as well. We at Securix have opted to show different scenario’s to the investors because the Bitcoin price determines the return on investment. That results in that you can personalize your sentiment on the market and check out the different return on investment scenario’s. When the Bitcoin price moves up, you earn more. When the Bitcoin price moves down you earn less. Simple and transparent.

3: The re-investment strategy. This is an important part to increase your investment, we have an buyback and burning program which results in a smaller token pool and higher output per token and token value will increase due to scarcity. Or we choose to acquire new mining hardware, these new machines will create a bigger output at the end of each month. So even after your investment Securix is busy to create added value and your token will have a greater output and rise in value.

4: How much will I earn in 5 years? We’ve given % of ROI so you can calculate out what you can expect. We have as well pointed out the market and mining challenges as described in the white paper white paper https://securix.io/marketing/page%2044%20risk%20and%20regulations.pdf. A lot of factors are in play, with the mining market keep in mind that the founders and management are a large stake holder in the mining operation. So every decision will be in the best interest of the token holders as they are token holders as well.

The Founders tokens are locked from 30 November 2018 till 30 November 2019. Starting from November  2019 the Founders will receive each month 5% tokens from their 15%.

If you still have questions, please feel free to ask them.

Securix Team

This is their location http://www.industrieelpand.nl/ space was/is? for rent. I have tried to reach them, but they didn't respond on email  Roll Eyes

Sustainable ROI with reinvestment strategy, reinvesting for next 5 years with current btc price I will have 300000$ with initial 10000$ investment. Sounds like easy risk free passive income.

How do we call this in this space?

https://youtu.be/GCBR5dxyEXY?t=10

I don't know what this is, but there is sign on that building, it says "baru services":

Baru services is company https://www.baru.nl  located on that address:

Blokweg 19, 4761 RA Zevenbergen,

And this looks like something from video:

Maybe it is time to call securix team to this topic?

Sustainable ROI with reinvestment strategy, reinvesting for next 5 years with current btc price I will have 300000$ with initial 10000$ investment. Sounds like easy risk free passive income.

How do we call this in this space?
With only green energy "from solar and wind"...
https://www.linkedin.com/company/securix-io/

Moreover they state that only 28% of each mined BTC will pay electricity.

With BTC at $6500, it means they will only pay 1820$ per BTC for electricity (and $1400 at $5000)

However, this study released few months ago claims it costs $9449 in electricity to mine 1 btc in Netherlands.(not even with green electricity)

Thank you.

Hello,

The pictures have been made by a professional, but please before you than instantly make conclusions?? Check out our personal social media accounts:

Hello Saint Loup,

You can not compare consumer prices with industrial energy usage. When you are an industrial grade energy user, the tax over your usage will become lower. The indication price of energy in the Netherlands is 0.05 eurocent per KWH.

We have something very unique in The Netherlands, TenneT which is government owned released the electricity grid a couple of years ago to ensure that there is enough competition on the energy market. With the EAN-2-EAN platform we buy directly our energy from the green generator, with this system we cut out the intermediary.

The green generator sells higher and we buy even lower. In The Netherlands you have negative energy prices as well due to over supply and less demand from the market, here we are at Securix we buy the excess energy.

We believe in sustainability, profitability and responsibility can go hand in hand.

But I consider it unfair to compromise the efforts of a team with such weak arguments
(and when I talk about compromising, I am of course thinking of the FUD that this kind of debate provokes, the associations of keywords on search engines, etc...)
And you don't care about investors? Bitcointalk users? And the crypto market, falling since many months because of dozens of scams?

New Study Says 80 Percent of ICOs Conducted in 2017 Were Scams
https://cointelegraph.com/news/new-study-says-80-percent-of-icos-conducted-in-2017-were-scams

Hello Saint Loup,

Yes, many of them are failing and/or are scams. We are not in any way comparable with a scam of any kind..

Our whole team is in the White paper, we've done interviews, we do events. It would make no sense right, with the allegations you made to us. Keep in mind that these allegations are very serious and we take them up very high in our team.

I would say as a community member myself, that it would be in the best interest to verify a project or call them out. it has always be in the good of the discussion, this to protect the community. I strongly believe that you must fight for the legit projects like Securix out there as well.

It is our fiduciary duty, if you still have questions feel free to ask them. I am sure I can answer them all.

Damian Strauss's picture is not photoshopped as in creating a new/fake identity, there was indeed excessive use of sharpening/blur and shadows/vignette.

Hello,

We would like to show our gratitude on behalf of the Securix community for the efforts you've made and share your findings.
