We can not deny that virtually all altcoins repeat the price movements of bitcoin, and this is the price dominance. It is generally believed that it depends on the level of bitcoin capitalization, since its capitalization level significantly exceeds the level of capitalization of other crypto-currencies. We see that this year bitkoin has fallen in price and all the crypto-currency market has fallen and lies throughout the year together with bitcoin and does not grow in price terms. Is it good or bad? In my opinion, very bad. I think that the market is more wise and in the near future will find a way out of this impasse.

It's never healthy for a market to have one asset dominate the market.
One of the reasons crypto is so volatile is because it is so dependent on bitcoin.

although exchanges that do atomic swaps and are decentralized are popping up.
The fact is, that btc is the only real practical crypto to cash out on.
Until there is more infrastructure to liquidate a variety of assets, btc will still have a large portion of the market share.

But, then there is the problem of btc itself.
It's expensive and slow, not really practical for everyday use.
So eventually, something better will replace it, it's the natural order of things.

And in fact Bitcoin has always been the Head of the altcoin. I think the movement of bitcoin always or 96% affects the price of altcoins, that's when I analyze the graphs. Whether it's right or wrong, it's only my own point of view until now. It can be concluded that it is appropriate if bitcoin is always the best and most popular.

This is not a bad thing, only good coins are valuable. Bitcoin creates a very reasonable cryptocurrency. So it is currently the king of cryptocurrency.

It goes without saying that BTC’s dominance on the cryptocurrency market is very significant and has a lot of consequences like negative and positive ones. Even to take in attention the fact of BTC’s being close to be the foundation of cryptomarket, it is very important influencer and it can be the reason of market’s decreasing or its death in the worst situation. Thanks to this dominance alternative cryptocurrencies are not able to grow in their whole potential so cryptomarket can’t be developed at all. From the other side of this question BTC has become the main reliable coin for investments and its stability is very nice for all of us. So is it necessary to have this dominance or it could be liquidated and with such methods? Huh
i think this dominance will be questioned sooner or later and now it gives a healthy competetive impuls for those who are determined to create something better than btc

I think with the alt coin market being beaten down Bitcoin dominance doesn't exceed the mid-50s. I think that because our adult market will see less dominance by Bitcoin and less correlation between Bitcoin and Alts and Bitcoin will begin to appear for what it is than as a proxy for the entire cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin is not perfect. All of us understand it in high extent. But at the same time we also understand that cryptocoins are developing and becoming real competitors to Bitcoin. So it is necessary to be aware about it.

We know that bitcoin is the first coin here, so it is normal if it dominates other coins in the crypto market. The price of bitcoin also influences the price of other coins. We don't know what will happen in the future, so it will be good for us if we also have other coins in our wallet.
