Introducing P2PX, a fast and secure multi-exchange cryptocurrency trading platform.

Our goal is to become the first crypto trading platform to support trading across various other exchanges without requiring users to register at any of them. In order to achieve this goal, we first created a market data platform, allowing our customers to see full orderbook and pricing data on the leading exchanges and all of their instruments. This includes

Binance, Bittrex, Bitfinex, Bithumb, Coincheck, GDAX, CEX, Quoine, OKEX, and more

This means you can watch pricing for Binance:BTC/USD, Bittrex:BTC/USD, Bitfinex:BTC/USD, etc simultaneously from one screen. Our beta launch will not allow trading of these instruments. We will allow trading only on our internal instruments at first (ie P2PX:BTC/USD), but we will add support for trading instruments on external exchanges shortly after. We will continue adding support for other exchanges as voted on by our customers.

Performance

From a technology perspective, our exchange is lightning fast. The core and matching engine is written in highly optimized C++, using Boost and other proprietary libraries written specifically to enhance performance. The architecture consists of a series of redundant services communicating via high-performance asynchronous messaging framework ØMQ (ZeroMQ) and using highly efficient transport structures via Google’s Protocol Buffers. We will release official benchmarks soon, our preliminary results indicate that the system can handle over 4,000,000 messages per seconds and upwards of 1,000,000 trades per second.

Security

The security of our systems and services is our top priority.  Everything we built has security as the foremost consideration. We have spent considerable time penetration testing all servers, checking, double checking, and triple checking configurations, ensuring no loopholes exist in our deployment. As white-hat security experts we’ve implemented various techniques to thwart even the most determined hackers.

User Account Security

  • Require complex passwords
  • Require Two-Factor authentication
  • Advanced API key security (read/write API access permissions, IP whitelisting)
  • Account history (login attempts, security changes)
  • Email notifications with anti-phishing phrases (login attempts successful/failed, new IP address verification, withdrawal request verification)

Architecture Services Security

  • Authentication Service handles authentication provides a secure gateway to services conforming to messaging protocol and service communication security
  • Database security best practices (segregated read / write access, replication)
  • Hot and cold storage in wallet services
  • Encrypted sensitive information
  • Configuration data is destroyed on startup
  • Obfuscated source code for production builds

Systems Security
  • Secure Linux hosts (all packages and OS Kernels are kept up-to-date)
  • Virtualized deployments utilizing read only container instances
  • Secure network firewall policies
  • System access and management best practices (real-time monitoring and access logs)
  • File system security best practices (hashing and verifying changes to files and executables, strict read/write access, etc)
  • Continuous automatic backups, encrypted and compressed
  • Duplication of backup data
  • Usage of proxies to conceal IP addresses of all internal services
  • Port-knocking and other clever stealth techniques
  • DDOS protection and attack mitigation

The User Interface

The user interface was specifically designed to be as versatile as possible. Unlike many exchanges that bind you to a specific layout, we allow you to fully customize it using resizable widgets which you can arrange in any orientation. You can even save your custom layouts into workspaces for later use. We’ll continue building new and innovative widgets for our customers to use. We have lots of ideas for awesome widgets and we’ll let the community vote on which we’ll build next.

Here are some actual screenshots of the platform in some of its glory.
Since I'm a newbie member I can't post images yet, so here are some links to hosted images:

News

We provide an integrated, real-time and historical news widget into our platform that aggregates news from various sources such as Coindesk, Bitcoin Magazine, NEWSBTC. User can also add their own RSS feeds. Articles are provided in full, with links, images, and videos included, which is crucial for articles incorporating technical market analysis.

Forum

Our platform has a built-in forum which we'll use to provide support, review bugs reports, and conduct polls to see what our customers want. The forum is based on NodeBB, which is in our opinion, the best forum technology out there right now. The forum, like everything else will be widget-based. The forum is shown in the following screenshot alongside other widgets, outlined in yellow:

Trading Across Exchanges

On our platform it will be possible to move crypto from one exchange to another without physically transferring it. This is made possible by our unique market making technology. We will launch and make markets for certain combinations of exchanges and currencies, such as BTC.P2PX/BTC.Binance and BTC.Bittrex/BTC.Binance. Selling the instrument BTC.P2PX/BTC.Binance will effectively sell your BTC balance on P2PX and buy BTC on Binance. Likewise buying the instrument BTC.Bittrex/BTC.Binance will trade your BTC on Binance for BTC.Bittrex, ie BTC on Bittrex. If you have a balance of BTC.Bittrex this means your funds physically reside on Bittrex

We will use funds generated from the ICO token sale to make these markets, allowing users to trade their coins on one exchange for the same coin on another exchange instantly.

Ledger of Transparency

Users are not required to create accounts on each of the exchanges where they want to trade. Creating dozens of accounts and giving us their API keys would be burdensome for users. Instead, we operate many accounts on external exchanges on behalf of our users.

The problem with this approach is the inherent lack of transparency of funds. When a user has a balance on an external exchange, we should be able to prove that money is actually there, on that exchange.

To solve this problem and provide transparency we will make a ledger publicly available so that anyone can verify the money trail of all transactions that modify the balances of any external exchange accounts that we operate. The detailed public ledger as well as graphical representations of it will allow anyone to view the state of all balances we manage on behalf of our users.

P2P TOKENS

P2P Token will be generated on the EOS blockchain and will be used as a means of payment by trading participants for services provided by P2PX.

P2P tokens will be created via a token generation event scheduled for Q4 of 2018.

Token Burn: Every quarter we will use 25% of profits generated from trading fees to buy back P2P tokens and permanently destroy them. This practice is well-known to increase the value of outstanding tokens by reducing the total supply of them. This practice has worked quite well for Binance, which has seen its token value increase quarterly.

Discounts of 30% on P2PX services will be available for token holders in general and discounts of 50% on P2PX services will be available for token holders who maintain an average monthly stake of at least 10,000 P2P tokens.

P2PX will utilize the funds generated from the token generation event to:

• Get office space. The two locations we're considering are Lviv, Ukraine or Brooklyn, New York (the latter being much more expensive).
• Servers and rack space
• Facilitate the continued development of P2PX GUI platform.
• Maintain a balance sheet allowing for cross-exchange market making, allowing customers to move crypto between exchanges instantly.
• Make markets in various other markets to minimize spreads and increase liquidity for market participants.
• Employ legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Onboard sales and marketing teams to develop a client base.

The reason for this post is to solicit early stage investors and beta testers.
This very large project was created by just two developers over the course of almost 3 years.
We are at a stage where we feel the technology is ready for prime time but we do not feel like we can handle a public launch without a larger team and a little bit of funding (office space, servers, customer support staff, etc).

We want to run an ICO for P2P token, but feel we still need to raise a little bit of money before we can actually create a successful ICO campaign.

The main advantages we bring to the market are:

  • High performance and security
  • A versatile user interface catered to advanced and professional traders
  • The ability to move funds between exchanges instantly. This is a major development for arbitrage traders and would help to reduce the price gaps between exchanges. Currently arbitrage traders have to physically transfer the funds from one exchange to another exposing them to significant risk while they wait for blockchain transactions to confirm (not to mention it’s more expensive to do it this way).
  • Transparency of user funds

On the security account of which you are speaking above. You can see the profiles on the githab of those who took part in the development in order to evaluate the project? A lot of security does not happen and I would like to understand what level is used in this trading platform.
Also, if errors are found, do you plan to make a fund with a reward for this?

Thank you for your feedback. I have elaborated on our security practices in the "Security" section of the original post.
We are not active in publishing code as open-source so there is not much to share in that regard.
We have both worked on proprietary code bases for most of our careers in financial services.

We don't currently plan to create security bounties, however, given a very successful ICO, it would not be out of the question.

To attract new users. We intend to:

- Leverage Bitcointalk, Reddit, and Telegram groups, and other forums to promote discovery
- Engage reputed publications to raise awareness
- Have our ICO listed in top directories
- Discover and engage with the right influencers to create buzz
- Offer profit sharing of trading fees generated by a user's referrals
- Drive traffic to our social and web properties with events, promotions, and partnership announcements/updates
- Create thought leadership through opinion driven content
- Solicit feedback from users on how to retain them and make the platform better
- Engage non-users on what features and markets would make them switch over
- Monitor social platforms for grievances and address them promptly
- Create content and how-to-videos to educate users on the many features of our platform
