Hello all. This is my first time buyig bitcoin. I made a wire transfer to tradehill but forgot to add my deposit number in the details box ><. I hope I'm not the first stupid one to do this. I emailed them but it's Sunday so I don't expect a response until tomorrow. I'm just wondering if this is the last I'll see of the $? If you have any experience with this, please help. Thanks guys.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I guess when you contact them, they should see an 'undefined' deposit.  Probably if you give them enough details (where, when, etc) they'll clear things up.

Make sure you do it privately.

It's probably going to be ok. It willl just take a little longer to confirm the transaction because they will have to manually process your request.

You likely are fine because Tradehill will want specific details which only you have but always better to be safe than sorry.
