Ico is still the best. You need to carefully select projects on this forum is enough information to distinguish a scam from really standing projects. No need to hurry and listen to pseudo specialists.

There is a chance to profit in ICO, And I think there are many investors prefer to make a risk of investing with them, But the unexpected things may happen regarding the ICO will not make it be successful in the market when they don't reach certain hard cap or soft cap, So there would be a thing to research first before proceeding with a certain ICO, choose wisely and don't just always look on good points but even the bad points as well, And I think to make a brief investigation regarding the developers and managers involved in its ICO.

investing in ICOs is still really a great thing to do, its still very profitable but nowadays its really hard to find a genuine ICO. most of the ICOs now are fake and tend to scam people, so my advice to you is do some research before investing in a ICO.

If you think only about profit, it may be better to buy tokens of ready-made projects that are sold on the exchange ?  Price is very cheap now.

I see many new projects that have achieved cognitive progress from their initial prices, meaning that investing in a good ico project is quite profitable

Investing in ICO is definitely not worth it. If you like some project and you want to buy its tokens, it is better to buy them after their transfer to the exchange.

Now I do not invest in ICOs because of the negative trend in the market. Often, tokens lose a lot in price after entering the exchange. I intend to wait until the market stabilizes.

Its very hard to find out which ICO will be successful. There are too many scammy ones or with irrealistic projects.
I lost trust in all  Embarrassed even in ICO rating websites.
Maybe it's just because I feel as sad as markets... hope better days are coming Wink

Right now, I don't believe it is, so I would personally stay away from doing that. We rarely see projects that hit an ICO price, when they go on exchanges, usually they are in the range of x0.30 to x1 and if the project is average, then it goes even lower. Some of the big projects, that were projected to do at least x3, didn't even come close to x1, which is sad to say the least. But the bear market should be blamed for that and not projects. People are just to afraid to invest right now.

Yes, it is still profitable with legit ICO's. You should be very careful when choosing an ICO to invest money, you should take advice from other successful investors. Also, you should know how to choose a legit and successful ICO project before investing in it. Just read through this forum or google it to know possible ways to identify a good ICO, then invest in it.

Actually, I cannot determine whether it is profitable or not. For, every ICO has different prospect. What we must do is actually analyzing whether the ICO is legit or not on the ICO or on exchange. Because actually, many ICOs are still profitable and promising for the investment. They have good concept, team, and also community channels that will help them spreading their coins or their token exactly.

Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?

Yes it is still profitable but it's hard to invest now more than ever because of the so many failed and fraud ICO in the market, you will have to follow the project that you want to invest if it will really take off in the market or not, how I wish we can bring back the good old days of the ICO.

Probably investing in ICOs still profitable they offer a big bunos to the investors who are putting their investment at an early stage but be sure you make first double background check if that ICOs are legit of putting your investment to avoid lossing your capital.

Investing in ICOs is no longer profitable unlike before. Currently, you can hardly see 5 coins that listed above their ICO price. Majority of them are 80% loss currently.

In the fact, ICOs are not the bad way to investment but there are many scam ICOs now thus everyone is always anxious to invest an ICO.

But if you see a project that has a good idea and their products will be applied or useful in reality world, you can invest it.

Investing in ICO is definitely not worth it. If you like some project and you want to buy its tokens, it is better to buy them after their transfer to the exchange.

Because of the decline in volume of investors, many project failed to reach their target fund and that's why this is not a good time to invest on any ICO. its true that after listing in an exchange, the price dumps and mostly that is where big investors are coming. Maybe next year might be a good year for ICO's but right now, better not to invest more especially in a shit ICO's.

I know many investors follow such a strategy that they wait till be sure it is not a scam and then invest. It is less profitable but still more safe. I can recommend you NagriCoin project. It is already a successful one but you still can but their tokens before listing on exchange

ERC20 based ICOs are done for; too much banality of ideas and moreover, eth is facing a big problem next year with the difficulty bomb so there's no way those are not affected.

I still think there can be profit in ICOs. Just make sure that the idea they propose is unique and they ate not ERC20.
