No, ICOs are not profitable now because big exchanges don't list new projects without working product. Most ICOs have no working products or MVP so investors are waiting many months for the listing to return their investments. Small exchanges listing after ICO means the dump of the price because nobody want to buy new tokens there.

In my opinion investing in ICO is still profitable if you invest in a really good ico with a quality project and an experienced team coupled with timely performance aside from that you must be patient to wait for the right time to sell it, good luck ...   Smiley Smiley

investment in ICO is still very profitable and many will emerge, there may also be many ICO have not succeeded in attracting investors, causing the ICO project to fail, but many developers have thought about ways to get investor interest back, one of them is by changing token bases, such as using EOS, Cardano, and Komodo.

Not as promising and profitable as before so many disaster has been made due to the recent alarming scam on ico which waged of so many investors and it seems like there is a recess on ico. It might take awhile for them to recover from the damages done

It is still profitable but not as profitable as before because of the negative market behavior. Since the majority of cryptos are on downtrend this year, it also influences the outcome of the projects particularly with the profit. in fact. some investors are now taking a break and have choose to wait for now until the recovery starts in order to be safe from profit loss.

Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?

In my opinion,  I can totally say that investing in some ico is still profittable because there's still a potential but make aure that you invest in a good ico because there are some scam ico right now.

As long as you are able to choose a good program and good prospects, the results you can get will also be good and the value can continue to grow. Currently, ICO users and enthusiasts continue to increase, some countries have opened and provided a way to access crypto. I think crypto will be more promising and can provide even higher profits in the future.

the market situation is still in a period of decline and many ICO projects are deceiving so many investors are afraid to invest, so many potentially good ICO projects also fail due to a lack of investor interest. the possibility is still not time to invest in ICO because it is also difficult to choose ICO which has the potential to succeed later.

the future of the ERC-20 token is still very bright because many investors believe in the ICO using their platform.

For me it is still profitable because there are still some good coin in the market which can give you a good amount of profit when you invest in time but there are some scam coins so be carefull when investing.

No, it is not...during a bear market most of the ICOs will come to the market with much lower prices than the original ICO price and even the starting bonus of ICO will not safe you.

Somehow investing in crypto is very promising but we can't deny the fact that its very risky because of many scam ICO nowadays. So you must pick those projects who have good development and great team in order to secure your investment in the future.

It is still good as long as the project you chose is great. Too many ICOs that's why I've been very careful in choosing one. An ICO I've been keeping an eye now is NeuronChain. They developed their product first instead of giving promises with raw ideas just like most ICOs. You can check out their facebook if you'd like to check it yourself too. https://www.facebook.com/NeuronChain/

The best solution, in my opinion, is to choose the project in which you would like to invest, wait for the token to appear on the stock exchanges and buy, it will be cheaper than in ICO.

Yes but it is important that you check the ICO project carefully first before investing. It is always good if they can show an alpha product already as it can add assurance to investors like yourself. It is also important to check the team behind it if they already have a great experience in this industry already and has proven themselves as they play a great role in the ICOs success.

Nope. ICOs are now just a way to scam people.

They know that a lot of people wants a quick money that's why they are creating more investment platform and using promising words.

With the bearish trend of crytocurrency right now, I dont think that investing in ICO's is profitable because some ICO's are getting decreasing upon reaching to the recommended exchanges. But there are still altcoins which are still profitable most especially those with great demands and have a good benefits that the community may need it for better future.

Only if you find the one which is not a scam and have to potential. Mostly the fancy looking projects do not do well in fundraising. At the moment I think no ICO is profitable because investors are now losing interests in ICO investment. A better option is to buy the coins which are already listed in on exchanges.
