I stopped investing in ICO because most of the projects die and do not make a profit. I think that this situation can change only if the market goes up.

Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?
A good time to invest in ICO was in 2017. Now it's a roulette game where you never know what to expect. Many projects are dying. I think that if you invest, only in the top coins.

most of the projects were abandoned after not hitting their target funds. and with the current situation in the market, it makes them harder to generate money. so investing in ICOs nowadays is really very difficult to everyone. those who have spare money can do that. most are just waiting to hit the tokens in exchanges and do the trading. faster roi.

ICOs can be profitable, but in most cases this is no longer the case these days. This is due to the entire SCAM project and the current market situation. While the ICOs collect most of their money in Ethereum, their profits are already falling during the ICO due to falling prices. In 2017, many ICOs were very profitable, but this was probably partly due to the bull run.

I also left the investment in ICO until better times, now unfortunately this business is extremely unprofitable. Until the market really turns around, we will not see profits from the ICO.

I think investing on ICOs can be still profitable. Aw long as you invest on a good one, you will eventually make profit in the future. So you need to research further about the project and check if it has the potential to grow in the future. Still, you have to be careful because there a lots of ICOs that are scam.

investing in anything will be possible, but bare in mind that you need to thoroughly understand and research about the ICO you want to invest in if its only a pump and damp or if it has good projects in the future with a good team with a good experience handling successful ico in the past.

for now, ico investment has been abandoned by many investors, just look at many ico who do not get the trust of funds from investors. conceptually and their team performance is good but in terms of sales they are not very good. that means there is a market transition now where ico investors move more to top market coin investments or they choose to pause from ico investments because there are many who commit fraud.

Hey. It is not so profitable to invest in ICO now. You can invest when tokens after they enter the stock exchange begin to fall in price. The decision is always yours.

But I think for now there have been many unsuccessful ICO or scam, so I think
investing in the ICO is not suitable for us to make it as the best investment at this time.

No, ICOs are not profitable right now because big exchanges don't want to list new projects without a working product. Most of ICO has no working products or MVP so investors are waiting many months for the listing to return their investments. Small exchanges listing after ICO means the dump of the price because nobody wants to buy new tokens there.

I see no point in ICOs right now, because most of the will not be demanded in the future, because they all are aimed at modern market, but market will change.

Ammoutn of scammers is significantly bigger right now, so I would recomend you to stay away from the ICOs untill the situation will improve. It should be pretty obvious.

I fully agree with you, now it's like throwing money away, the probability of at least getting your money back is not high, as last year there will be no miracles.

Sure! I invested in MGO and a few days ago it was 66 on coinmarketcap. It was a good leap.

I think yes some of ICO is profitable to invest because you will see to them or the team if they do their best to make the project be successful. Even the situation in the market now is bearish many people still find a good ICO .

The price of Bitcoin slowly began to fall so that it affected Ethereum and all Altcoin also slowly declined in price. So it also has an impact on the ICO project which has difficulty finding investors. But in my opinion, investing in ICO projects is still very profitable and you have to be smart in conducting project searches.

seeing how many ICOs are currently running, of course there are some ICOs that are still profitable, even when the ICO runs according to the roadmap, and has prices according to its ICO, of course it will be very profitable. however, for now, it's quite difficult to get a project like that.

It would be profitable if you are going to look at it as a long term investment ,
Because most of them are scam but if you are lucky to join a legit one then the only problem is the price drop when it hits the trading site.
