I made this rule to avoid spamming content because somebody could use it for posts like "hello, how are you".

Hi, I'm afraid you didn't understand halpi's offer, he is not offering bitcointalk merit but http://steemit.com post upvotes.
Steemit is social site, something between blog network and facebook build on top of Steem cryptocurrency, where both content creators and content viewers are paid for they engagement.

I'm afraid the answer is no, I mentioned I could post some photos and the answer was that 250 words rule is to avoid spamming.
But you can post in any language which I think is very good if your native tongue isn't English

Didn`t face the problem, but probably. Steemit has strict rules now, because of many spam posts and violation of rules..
