Hey fellow members ,
i'm currently master's student in general management and have an idea for a startup in blockchain industry . i have the management and marketing skills required ,but still lack some developers to be a part of the team . i don't have the budget to hire someone to do the technical stuff . i need people to be part of the team in exchange for shares . where can i find those people ?!
You need to first articulate your vision and write a super fantabulous Whitepaper. If that document can emotionally sway the reader; then you have some basis with which to approach prospective devs. You will need additional sweeteners like token offers and equity, but 50 percent of zero is still zero, so your project must have wings right from the very outset.
It's easy for you to determine whether that's true. Create your pitch presentation, stand in front of the mirror, and imagine the person in the mirror is pitching to you, and you are the dev. Will you accept? This way you will be able to edit your pitch to a better level of acceptability. You will need to be ruthlessly honest for this to succeed.
Of course, when you feel it's good, you can directly pitch a few devs, together with your visionary whitepaper. Thereafter, it's up to the merits of your project; but this way you can have the best shot.
You will find the devs where they usually hang out in droves, on Linkedin. One profile will lead you to another, and in a short while you'll have your hands full.
