Rmcdermott927 sent me a neg trust without any basis. I also din't Offered him to pay for trust to be removed still he gave me a negative trust for it.

This is the messages I sent him first and I don't think I am accusing anything in it. I also said that I will go first for this deal so there is no fraud related to it.

Would you like to get some ETH for your BTC?
ETH price is low for now and it will be a profitable deal for you too.

I can send 0.23 ETH for 0.007 BTC.
If you agree please send me your ETH address.

This is my BTC address where I would like to receive the BTC: 15j1usMJegj9sdWyUeZf4ijQtWb5UBwPa4

Thank you
Regards

Second message I sent

Hello,
This is not a hacked account. I just wanted to trade for BTC as I found you trusted messaged you and also found your history trading with BTC. I also said that I will send first so there is no spam involved in it it is a smooth trade. Please remove my negative trust I am a reputed bounty manager.

The reply I got from Rmcdermott927

I can also sign a message with that address. I have used it previously for participating in campaigns.

The address has 0 transactions.  What are you even talking about.  You are making me believe you less the more you type.  What would signing a message do?

My reply to him was

I don't usually use BTC as I am a bounty manager as mostly get paid in tokens or ETH. I need them now to buy an offline wallet from a website where only BTC is accepted. This is my new Blockchain address. If you want to judge me just send me your ETH address I can instantly send you the amount of ETH I mentioned to gain your trust back.

I don't think I have accused something or tried to scam in any way.

The trust does have basis.   I received a suspicious message from a member I haven’t traded with containing a bitcoin address with zero transactions.

https://i.imgur.com/zC1zDmz.png

I then tagged the account as I thought it could potentially be a hacked account.  You then proceeded to send me a PM stating that you could sign a message with the address containing zero transactions.  This would essentially prove nothing.  You then offered to pay me to remove the trust.

https://i.imgur.com/SngWEwA.png

Would it make you happy if I removed the trust for the account and left the trust for offering to pay me?

I have quoted the Messages I sent in want way do you think I was offering you ETH to remove my trust. I was tell you that we can do a transaction and I can send you the amount of ETH I mentioned in the first message to get the deal done.

"Gain your trust back" - Does come off as buying trust by offering to prove a transaction. Anyway, it is a small misunderstanding which could be resolved without leaving a negative trust. I can't really speak for the DT member but you don't really deserve a negative. Avoid sending random people messages asking to trade with you. Who knows you could be doing that to gain a positive feedback as well.

I know paying for trust is forbidden on the forum and is against the rules so I would never do this purposefully as repo of my account is very important for me. I just messaged him as I saw his previous deals about BTC exchange and thought he would be interested.

Rmcdermott927  just misunderstood me gave me 2 neg trusts. Please help me in solving this issues as I am operating a management group and this can affect it in negative manner.

Hello, sir Rmcdermott927

I think I have done no wrong thing and I was also not offering any money for removal of red trust. I think you had some misunderstanding between my words. My words were pointing to the first message in which I said I will transfer 0.23 ETH to you first which means I will go first for this transaction as you are trusted . but you misunderstood it and thought that I was offering you a bribe. But that is not the case. Please try to understand it once more.

Please also replay to the thread I have started getting more red trust's due to this abuse from other members. This is just like slipping of surface under my legs. I have lost everything in just one instance because I just send this Message to a wrong person.

I am apologizing you from bottom of my heart.

I removed my trust as it's very possible it happened as you explained in the first paragraph.

Although you have a good argument for the negative trust to be removed and @Vod has showed an understanding by showing the same. The user has the right not to trust you because I might do the same. I didn't advertise to have a trade, you didn't even invite him for a trade after which he would express some willingness for negotiations to commence after which you agree on the amount that needs to be exchanged between each other but you just went ahead to negotiate and determine the amount he is willing to accept for the trade. That sounds suspicious on mere looking at it.

But I feel he will still review it but exercise patience not to spam his inbox or the thread. Eventually, he will come around and do justice to your account.

I have already apologized for my Minor mistake but for that I don't deserve the tag of warning: Trade with extreme caution!
And also said him I will not do that again.

I am just waiting for his justice!

EDIT: I guess you have not understood the issue properly. Please read the full post again.

If I'm not mistaken, you sent me the exact same PM offering ETH for bitcoin.  Unfortunately I deleted it.

Since you gave your btc address in the PM, it very much sounds like you want the bitcoin sent first.  There's no mention of escrow or anything that would prevent someone from being scammed.

In addition, this does indeed appear that you're offering to pay Rmcdermott927 to remove his neg on you:
I can instantly send you the amount of ETH I mentioned to gain your trust back.

What can I say?  People generally don't appreciate unsolicited PMs offering to do trades unless the person is trusted or has done deals with the person being PM'ed.

However, I personally wouldn't have given you a neg over this.  I don't think you were trying to scam or even trying to "buy trust", but obviously Rmcdermott927 sees it differently.

If I would just have got a warning from him that he don't want to deal. I would have instantly backed off with the conversation and would have not send any further PMs. But without even asking me once he just gave me a neg trust directly without any reply. So I sent him more PMs about the concern and he again red tagged me second time.
I also appreciate your decision about I don't deserve the neg trust for this and I am trying to explain same to Rmcdermott927. I hope he understands this situation in better way and remove his undeserved red trust or at least make it to neutral.

You already got a positive trust from minnerjones for a trade. I'm assuming this what you do, send positive trusted members to a request involving small trades knowing if it goes through, you'll get a positive trust. (and we can see that ) At this point, the negative trust is well deserved and should stay since I don't trust your intentions.

I also appreciate you decision about I don't deserve the neg trust for this and I am trying to explain same to Rmcdermott927. I hope he understands this situation in better way and remove his unserved red trust or at least make it to neutral.
Why are you only messaging people with a high level of trust? Why can't you deal with members not on the DT with an escrow?

I don't think I have done any fraud and deserve a negative trust. I had a successful deal with minnerjones and for that I got a trust and it is abvious that I get a good trust for it.

Every one here would only like to deal with people who have high level of trust on this forum as there are large amount of scams here. I found it better to deal with a high trusted member and go first for the transaction rather than paying escrow fees.

Maybe he want to gain trust from the community then he can be considered as trusted person but if someone is doing trades with the intention of getting positive trust then they are untrustworthy person too maybe they will attempt big scam once they became trusted person. Roll Eyes

You can get the deals done without having to get a trust in return. My point is, you're selectively initiating trades with users who you know have high trust ratings so that you get a trust back in return.

Well, that is true but no all the DT members are fond of doing trades with strangers and hence your feedback.

Yes, I was selectively trading with high trust member as there trust just points to there legitimacy and also it indicates that you can have safe trades with them. That is the purpose of trust ratings here. You are getting it in a wrong way that I am doing this to get a trust in return. Its totally the decision of the trader if he wants to give me a positive trust or not. I can't force them to so it does not imply that I am spamming trust.

Well, that is true but no all the DT members are fond of doing trades with strangers and hence your feedback.
Most of the people here are strangers and most of them only depends on trust ratings here. Being a stranger does not mean I want to scam anyone.
