Is the 25th shipping date for batch 5 final?

Price is droping rapidly around so Your offer isn't as good as before and any delays are equal to money loss for Your buyers...

Not to mention money lost due to not mining.

Hi gruber_69,

I have PM your tracking number to you.

I sincerely apologise for the delay. Let me know if you need help when you receive the units.

Cheers

Alex

Can anyone confirm if their factory controller is able to mine 10 devices?
Mine seems like only nine are mining but the 10th one is not.

I'm assuming it's the Gridseed wiibox - yes, it can handle 10 units. Find out which one is not mining, swap cables, maybe you have a bad connection. If the controller can see the device but no shares are submitted make sure to give it enough time. It make take 20 minutes on a high difficulty pool to start accepting shares.

Thanks for the reply, yes it's actually able to to control 10 units. I realized that the 10th gridseed I got might be defective. I took one gridseed out of  my other rig and I saw that all 10  grid seeds are blinking red Smiley

Alex/Atari02,

1. What can be done for a defective gridseed?
Seems like I got one, the rest of the nine are working fine. I am not aware about your RMA process (if any).

2. I  am still waiting for my partial refund since Mar 16th. As promised, it did not happen today either.

Please advise.

+1 for the refund, please.

I know than you need more time for give us more answers, but I got this question: the Wiibox said: confine/define.php is not existes.

What can I do?

Where does it say that? Are any of the units mining?

I have a updated wiibox image you can use and that may solve the problem. I will PM you the link.

atari02,

I am holding some bitcoins in escrow for you.  The buyer has received their products and authorized me to release escrow, but I need additional information from you before I can do so (among other things, I need a bitcoin address to send the funds to).

I've sent you a PM requesting the necessary information.  Please respond to the PM at your earliest convenience so I can complete the transaction and get the bitcoins to you.

I'm a bit confused from the OP, Where are you located?

Do you ship these from US or from China?

The OP is in Melbourne but these ship from China at the moment although new orders may go through GAW miners in the USA

Our operations and GAWMiners have merged so as of Batch #6:

1. USA and Canada order will be shipped from within USA by the GAWMiners dispatch center

2. All other countries will be shipped from our China dispatch center

3. ALL CUSTOMERS CAN HAVE THEIR MINERS PLUGGED INTO GAWMINER'S DATA CENTER AND HOSTED 1-YEAR FOR FREE ~ INCLUDING FREE ELECTRICITY. CUSTOMERS CAN TAKE DELIVERY OF THEIR OWN MINERS AT ANY TIME!! SEE WWW.GAWMINERS.COM FROM MORE DETAILS.

That said when I write the IP from the WiiBox.

I test the unit in my laptop and works fine, the only detail are the WiiBox...

Edit: I don't receive any PM..

I got my shipment of 10 units yesterday. Thanks Alex!

I've got the units in a test configuration and have been mining for about 12 hours. The only issue so far is that one unit is showing about 10 times as many hardware errors as the others. I'll try isolating the problem by switching cables and whatnot.

A bit of feedback. It would be nice if the power cables were a foot or two longer. As it is, you really have to put the units close to the power supply. In my final configuration, I'll probably solder some extensions on the power plugs so that I can isolate the power supplies to the back of my rig.

Lastly, my order was supposed to be without a controller because I've got my own Raspberry Pi. But in the USB hub box there was a little board that has an Ethernet and USB port. There was no case. I assume this is a controller, but I've never seen one before.

Maybe when I've isolated my hardware error problem we can figure out how to get this card back to you.

Thanks again for your support.

Ok, I will look into 1m DC cables, I guess if it's too long, customers can always cut it. It would increase the cost for me a little but I'll keep the pice the same.

Seems to be a dispatch error that you got the controller. If you need to RMA then you can send it back along with it. RMA is picked up by our couriers so you are not out of pocket and I'll pop a new one in the mail for you.

Keep me updated please. And I am happy to be of assistance to you.

Cheers

Alex

Hi mate,

Thanks for that, I have been flatout busy with sales and support to even remember to collect my coins. I have sent you a PM with the BTC address and the request to leave some BTC as tips for your service. And there is a new escrow request too.

Hi Tom,

According to the details on DHL it has just arrived at the sort facility at Leipzeg, Germany. It should not have a problem clearing customs. Is it a customs fee for handling package, not customs tax charged on it? DHL in some countries charge a handling package fee. I will be happy to re-imburse this amount to you after you have paid for it and collected the package.

PM me the details and I won't leave you out of pocket.

Cheers

That was not a custom tax he as talking about but a DHL handling fee for their service to clear customs. If anyone has to pay this I am happy to reimburse you.
