Is this a signed of mass adoption of blockchain technology or this will be the killer of the cryptocurrency since bank will uses there own blockchain tech.

Interbank Information Network (IIN) is powered by Quorum, a variant of the Ethereum blockchain developed by J.P. Morgan. And signed by 75 banks to use the blockchain service.
