Hello guys

I recognized a few days ago that I was demoted to Newbie position Undecided

I found out that's from bitcointalk's changed system
we need at least 1 Merit to be Jr. Member

but I still dont know how to earn Merit...😭

Can I buy it or easily get it through simple tasks?

Can I buy it ?
You should not buy it. There is high chance that you will be scammed or might get red trust.
If you are unhappy due to restriction that newbie account have, then you should buy Copper membership.

Easily get it through simple tasks?

Your post history is in korean, so you should check in your local board. But if there is lack of merits in your local board and you have fair English skill then you can contribute in the discussion here.

For your start, I will put few topics to read beforehand.

Yes, Bitcointalk ranking system is updated now. You can create a useful meaningful post and if someone thinks it is merit worth they will reward a merit. I just checked your post history and saw many posts in local Chinese board, I don't know your language and are there any merit rewardable person in Chinese board, but good to go with the English language so everybody can understand and reward merit if they are merit worthy.

There are so many posts regarding how to get merits you can just search on bitcointank search section. here is the one of best post from TMAN Please check it..

I'm Spanish speaker and, even though the local community is not small, there is an obvious lack of merits in this part of the forums, so I suppose that most of the local areas will be the same.

As my colleagues told you before, try posting helpful, quality comments in the general area. Sooner or later you'll get some merits I hope  Wink

buy

This single word is enough for anyone to give you red trust rating on your profile when it comes to the merit.

Understand that the merit system is nothing but the appreciation given to the quality contributors who contribute some value to the community and members of it. It doesn't make any sense if non-quality contributors get any chance to acquire merit points without the efforts and hence I would recommend you not even to think about cheating the system.

Seek the knowledge and share it with the other members that will add some value to the community, merit is just a by-product of this process.

It would be difficult for us to earn merit now but hey they can check on our profile and probably will reward merit for some reason like a good member here, posting constructive post or being helpful with other members here in the forum. The merit source will going to check a members account for their posting history if one is worth it to receive merit. Usually spamming on Mega Threads will not be likely to get merit. Join actively discussions here in this section and meta section will greatly let you learn about some aspects that will enhance your posting style to create a constructive post.

We just need to learn first before getting the merit. And if one does learn that much probably the merits will be rewarded. Just take your time to learn here and participate actively in the forum. I know that someday we will be recognized and could be able to impart also learning for the newcomers in this forum.

Can I buy it or easily get it through simple tasks?
The reason why theymos has implemented the new rule for jr. member rank requirements is because of spam posts. theymos has explained ithere. On the contrary theymos has also taken one step ahead of it when he decided to demote all the jr.member rank with zero merit to newbie rank to take the chance to rank up again by purchasing the copper membership. It has a balance features for copper member jr. rank that could wear avatar that adds beautification on one's bitcointalk account.

So there is no reason for everybody to quit in the forum, quit learning and at the same time to quit earning by ranking up to jr. member rank and join bounty program again.

I don't have much to share on how to earn merit because r1s2g3 already provided the most important on what to do to earn merit in bitcointalk but this is the only way I can tell, don't buy merit instead you contribute in any way you can by posting commendable posts that will surely attract high rank members in this forum. Just don't forget to open the thread provided, I'm sure that will help you earn merit.
