I personally think before you decide to HODL any altcoin you have to do a proper research about it first, because it's not all altcoins that are worth. Some will just continue to dump and dump irrespective of the market conditions.

What I'm going to do now is to keep holding the coins that I keep, I don't want to lose so I will hold the coin until the market gets better again and the coins can be sold at high prices so they can get maximum profit in the future

The two might be right as it base on when and which coin you are holding, if you are having best coin in your wallet then you can hold as it will recover if you bought at the top cos the price now is much close to the bottom and selling now will Ben add to the lost so holding such coin is best now but if you just got in and realise it dipping more then you can sell to rebuy later and have more coin.

I usually do new tokens such as getting tokens on prizes, always selling when the token goes to market 2 or 3 because it will definitely get the highest price on the token and after that then wait for the price to drop then I can buy the token after holding the token as long as we want because the token it will be difficult to rise to the highest score in the near future.

I practice retention because I believe that this way you can get more profit and spend less time tracking the market situation. But I choose reliable coins not one-day tokens

I think what you should do right now is to keep calm and make your own research about the current situation of the market. Look at its history and try to see some trend or pattern. Based your decision on your own research. If I'm going to decide about it, I think the best reasonable option we have right now is to hold until the market recovers.

as long as you believe in the project then holding coins is the best choice but if you don't understand the project then sell is no use if you don't understand it.
but the best choice now is hold

Based on my own experience, the best thing to do if you hold a cryptocurrency specially if it's market price is currently on red line then just do not panic and continue to hold your crypto.

I think it depends on what coins we hold because I think there are better coins to sell now and there are coins that must be maintained.
but I agree with you if we have to understand the coin because then we can know what we have to do with our coins.

It depends upon your intuition on how you would going to manage your investment in cryptocurrency. Once you feel safe to sell then go for it as the market is too volatile to predict such outcome.

It is the time now, when you should all time refresh the information about coins, which you bouth earlier. Choose your best moment for sell and do this. Market recovers slowly, use it.

The ball is in your court, I believe that your the owner of your investment, you know how much you have invested, you know the current price of how much they are selling the coin you invested in and if you sell now you know  may be you are at the profit side or lost. I just believe that the main aim of every investor is to generate profit . Cross check if you are on the profit side right now I will advice you to sell but if you are on the lost side I will advice you to exercise patient.

If you don't know, it is time to start making goals.
this is the first, fundamental step in investing that everyone seems to skip over.
Instead they just have vague ideas like, "I wanna be rich!"

First, set an actual target, like $30000 usd or $100000 usd.
Or maybe even just $10000.
Whatever it is, make sure it is tied to something real, like buying a house or paying for college or something.

Then, set a time frame.
one year? two years? three years?
depending on how much you want to make and in what time will determine how much you need to invest.
Obviously, to make $30000 in a year, you would have to invest much more initially.

Some people say hold your crypto,  some says sell immediately that holding for long is useless.
What do you believe and practice?

What I am doing now is to keep holding crypto and remain firm by holding onto me. Because I'm sure mid-2019 will be a good start for crypto, so I held it until then.

It is a personal choice, what works for one person might not work for another person, I have sold some coins that ended up mooning beyond my imaginations and held some that disappointed me so much.

Difficult question, which is asked here almost every one of us. And no one will respond to you with a 100% guarantee. I can only say that I’m holding everything and didn’t sell anything, I hope I’m not sorry

Some people say hold your crypto,  some says sell immediately that holding for long is useless.
What do you believe and practice?

I believe in crypto and blockchain technology in long term, and I adjusted my investments accordingly to the projects that have active development and might have a great future. So, I'm now definitely not selling, I'm just holding and trying to accumulate as much as possible at this low prices. I think bear market and such a drop in prices that we saw is actually a great opportunity to invest some more in project that I believe in long term.

If you really want to be a holder, do not just hold the tokens, trade them and increase them as well, additionally, you can also learn how to trade, it is very very lucrative as well.

I holding them. I can't sell them now, I can wait a few more years for them to recover. If I sell them now, I am almost 80% loss.
