HashAltcoin F1 Blackminer - Unbiased review - 08 October update - Video Review

Hi guys,

After buying a nice quantity of BCU1525 I decided to buy, try and review the new HashAltcoin F1 Blackminer. An FPGA minser based on Xilinx k7 325 chips.
I will write a full, detailed, rich of technical info and unbiased review.

i will also test the overclocking limits of this machine with air and also inside one of my immersion cooling boxes (yes I build and sell ready to use immersion cooling boxes for fpgas)

I have absolutely no connection with the HashAltminer company. Hopeully this review will be of help to the comunity.

I will post this review on my -almost ready- FPGA tech blog. They also accepted to be interviewed by me. The full interview will be posted on my blog in a few days.

I got in contact with Kesen through their Discord channel, which guided me to place the order.
He has always replied quickly to all of my questions. This is a big plus considering that when I tried to deal with the Baikal customer service it was an hell of a nightmare! Usually it's not easy to contact and get support from the Chinese sellers. I have to say that this time I have been pisitively impressed. I asked what kind of payments they could accept. The only accepted payment at the moment is BTC. Once sent the BTC he asked me for my full address. DHL shipping is included in the price. And this another plus from my point of view.
He promised to ship ASAP. Let's see what ASAP means. Will keep you updated.

Actually no. This is a life review step by step. Did I write that it works as advertised? If it won't I will post it. It will be an honest and unbiased review. People that knows me also knows that I am 100% honest. Expected delivery the 4th of October. So not too much time to wait if it's real or not.

I wish I had such a review before ordering my Baikal X10. A nightmare the shipping and the communication.

can't wait to receive it. DHL already sent me the message about the taxes to be paid. So deliver will be on time. Possibly they will deliver it on the 3rd. Sometimes DHL delivers one day before.

I am kinda excited to the this miner. It's not a GPU nor "the usual" ASIC. I hope to have also my immersion cooling box ready by the time it arrives but I highly doubt. I have to build 6 boxes for 6 BCU1525 owners. Anyway the important for now is it test it on air!

In theory DHL, looking at the tracking number, is out for deliver. 2 days before the expected delivery date. But I don't think they will deliver today. It's already 5pm and usually the DHL courier comes never later than 3/4pm. Anyway DHL is DA BEST

LOL cant' review it. I don't have the login to the webpage control panel. Not a big deal cause here is evening already and I will be sleeping soon. Tomorrow I will get the login info from the F1 guys and start the review. (if anyone has idea what could be the login "default" info I can give it a try.

Anyway it have been delivered TWO days before the estimated shipping date.
