Overview of Bitcoin Accepting Sportsbooks

This thread is aimed at providing an overview of the major Bitcoin accepting sportsbooks, based on the margin (house edge) that they charge. There are many fiat sportsbooks that accept BTC as a deposit (ex Bookmaker.eu, Bovada, etc), but they will not be listed due to the sheer number of them, general lack of good margins, fiat conversion and forced KYC.

Optimally, you want to play at the sportsbooks with the lowest margin to maximize your profits, and keep a balance on a few sportsbooks so that you can "shop" for better odds. The higher margin that a book has, the less chance you will have to make a long term profit. Generally, betting on options with a margin above 5% should be avoided if you want to turn a long term profit.

The Importance of Low Margins
Sports margins are basically the house edge for games such as Dice or Roulette. Imagine bets as a coin flip. With a 5% margin, your bet pays out at odds @1.905 if it wins, giving you a profit of 0.905 units. With a 2% margin, your bet pays out at odds @1.96, giving you a profit of 0.96 units. You just won 6% more because you chose to bet on a sportsbook with a lower margin. Pinnacle has a more indepth explanation if you're interested.

Sportsbooks Used For Comparison
The following sportsbooks will be used for comparison: (sorted alphabetically)

Betcoin
BetKing | BetKing unfortunately shut down their sportsbook.
BitcoinRush
Cloudbet
Jetwin
mBitCasino
Nitrogen
Sportsbet.io

These were chosen because they are the most popular, offer the best odds, or offer more options. I believe the list covers all semi-reputable Bitcoin focused sportsbooks.
Betcoin and Jetwin were added after I did most margin calculations. They will be included in future updates, but may be missing in some current comparisons.

1xbit is not included because you will get scammed 99% of the time. Avoid.

If you do not have an account at a sportsbook and are interested in registering, I have a referral link for most of them if you're feeling nice. Send me a PM, as ref links can't be publicly posted.

Soccer/Football

I will be providing a comparison of major soccer events, on the Moneyline/Match Winner, Totals and Asian Handicap markets. The most balanced line will be used (meaning, the options with odds closest to 50%. Many books will increase margins for significantly more likely/unlikely events, such as Over/Under 0.5). Most other markets will have a significantly higher margin, and are less popular, so they will not be covered in this overview. Margins will be calculated by using two events, and averaging the margins. The lowest margin is bolded.

EPL (English Premier League):

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin|1.57%|4.00%|6.92%|
|BitcoinRush|1.78%|2.34%|2.41%|
|Cloudbet|2.13%|2.65%|2.42%|
|mBitCasino|5.99%|3.29%|2.42%|
|Nitrogen|2.20%|3.11%|2.87%|
|Sportsbet.io|4.80%|5.88%|3.98%|

Note: While Betcoin has a smaller overall margin, they use a different odds provider than BitcoinRush. If you like to bet on Match Winner markets, I would keep funds at both sites, and compare between those two to get the best possible odds.

I've grouped the events for other major European soccer together as there would be way too many tables otherwise. Margins for them are quite similar across each sportsbook, which is why I combined them.

Major European Soccer: (La Liga, Bundeseliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A)

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|2.33%|7.34%|7.16%|
|BitcoinRush|2.86%|2.89%|2.08%|
|Cloudbet|3.83%|5.10%|3.55%|
|Jetwin|8.43%|5.85%|5.98%|
|mBitCasino|5.96%|3.72%|3.09%|
|Nitrogen|3.36%|4.22%|3.60%|
|Sportsbet.io|5.00%|4.69%|4.56%|

Champions's League margins are a bit higher than the national European leagues.

UEFA Champions League:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|2.06%|6.84%|6.56%|
|BitcoinRush|2.98%|2.83%|2.22%|
|Cloudbet|3.60%[1]|3.37%[1]|2.59%|
|Jetwin|6.82%[1]|5.77%|5.87%|
|mBitCasino|8.06%|3.70%|3.00%|
|Nitrogen|3.61%|3.92%|3.22%|
|Sportsbet.io|4.94%|4.97%|4.93%|

[1] Cloudbet/Jetwin had a extremely high margins for the second event I chose, likely because it's farther out from starting. As it is clearly an outlier, I have excluded it from this data.

For the UEFA Nations League: Cloudbet and Jetwin race to see who has the highest margins, and BitcoinRush once again sweeps with the lowest margins overall.

UEFA Nations League:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|5.11%|6.56%|6.99%|
|BitcoinRush|2.96%|3.38%|2.63%|
|Cloudbet|12.75%|5.87%|5.93%|
|Jetwin|12.39%|8.49%|8.41%|
|mBitCasino|5.98%|5.55%|4.89%|
|Nitrogen|3.45%|4.01%|3.18%|
|Sportsbet.io|4.19%|4.92%|3.98%|

Baseball

For Baseball, the Match Winner, Over/Under and Handicap markets will be used. These are the major baseball markets. Margins will be calculated by using two events, and averaging the margins. The lowest margin is bolded.

MLB:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|BitcoinRush|2.01%|2.94%|2.71%|
|Cloudbet|3.17%|4.15%|3.90%|
|mBitCasino|3.02%|6.30%|4.14%|
|Nitrogen|3.18%|3.75%|3.61%|
|Sportsbet.io|4.03%|4.06%|4.10%|

American Football

For American Football, the Match Winner, Asian Handicap and Totals markets will be covered, as they are the most popular. I will add NCAA comparisons if there is demand, however I'm starting with just the most popular (NFL). The lowest margin is bolded.

NFL:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin|3.93%|5.30%|7.63%|
|BitcoinRush|2.67%|2.78%|2.98%|
|Cloudbet|2.75%|3.04%|3.36%|
|Jetwin|4.87%|5.45%|5.65%|
|mBitCasino|2.67%|2.78%|2.92%|
|Nitrogen|2.69%|2.91%|3.12%|
|Sportsbet.io|4.06%|3.90%|4.06%|

Tennis

For Tennis, the Match Winner, Game Handicap and Totals markets will be covered, as they are the most popular. The below margins are for the finals of Chengdu Open and Shenzen Open. The less important matches (such as Round of 64) generally have higher margins, but this is a good starting point. It's always a good idea to shop around for better odds. WTA is generally the same as ATP. The lowest margin is bolded.

ATP:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|BitcoinRush|1.90%|2.57%|2.46%|
|Cloudbet|3.33%|3.64%|4.17%|
|mBitCasino|5.01%|4.99%|4.96%|
|Nitrogen|3.47%|3.96%|4.57%|
|Sportsbet.io|6.02%|6.12%|5.85%|

Data not averaged for WTA as only one final is going on at the moment. I'll try to catch the next final to add an average. Unfortunately, Cloudbet didn't offer odds for the major markets of this event, so they were not included.

WTA:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Game HandicapMargin|
|Betcoin.ag|4.76%|5.34%|3.91%|
|BitcoinRush|2.07%|2.59%|2.56%|
|Cloudbet|N/A|N/A|N/A|
|Jetwin|10.64%|N/A|N/A|
|mBitCasino|3.89%|4.19%|5.26%|
|Nitrogen|3.56%|4.17%|3.95%|
|Sportsbet.io|6.01%|6.14%|5.83%|

MMA

For MMA, the Match Winner and Under/Over markets will be used. The specific match used for this comparison is the Khabib Nurmagomedov - Conor McGregor fight on Oct 6, as it is one of the more major ones. The lowest margin is bolded.

UFC:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|7.07%|N/A|
|BitcoinRush|2.82%|3.80%|
|Cloudbet|5.25%|6.01%|
|Jetwin|8.33%|7.99%|
|mBitCasino|4.85%|6.01%|
|Nitrogen|3.03%|4.07%|
|Sportsbet.io|6.07%|6.01%|

Basketball

For Basketball, the Match Winner, Under/Over and Handicap markets are used. The lowest margin is bolded.

NBA:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|5.91%|6.20%|N/A%|
|BitcoinRush|2.56%|2.57%|2.47%|
|Cloudbet|3.06%|2.57%|2.85%|
|Jetwin|4.56%|3.63%|3.53%|
|mBitCasino|2.56%|2.57%|2.47%|
|Nitrogen|3.59%|3.64%|3.61%|
|Sportsbet.io|5.82%|6.39%|5.84%|

Ice Hockey

For Ice Hockey, the Match Winner, Under/Over and Handicap markets are used. The lowest margin is bolded.

NHL:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|7.86%|7.52%|8.13%|
|BitcoinRush|2.42%|2.93%|2.51%|

|Nitrogen|2.97%|3.28%|3.66%|
|Sportsbet.io|3.89%|4.13%|3.82%|

Esports

Data below is from user beam2546. Please click on the quote to view his full post for more specifics such as the event and comparisons with fiat books. I personally have never played at Buff88 or 1xBit so please do your own research instead of blindly depositing.

ESPORT:

Sportsbook Fees
Sportsbooks charge (or don't charge) fees, and those can affect your bottom line. Here's an overview of sportsbook fees:

||Betcoin|BetKing|BitcoinRush|Cloudbet|Jetwin|mBitCasino|Nitrogen|Sportsbet.io|
|Withdraw Fee|Miner's Fees|Custom sat/byte|Free|Miner's FeesBTC|Huh|Free|Free|Free|

Markets Offered

There are too many available markets (especially for events such a Soccer) to have a nice table, but I will try to offer basic descriptions of how many markets are available. BitcoinRush only offers the most basic markets and occasional props. Nitrogen is the same, with the addition of Corners betting for soccer. All other books listed (Betcoin, BetKing, Cloudbet, mBitCasino, and Sportsbet.io) have a wide range of markets. One notable thing to mention is that BetKing lacks Asian Handicap markets for Soccer betting.

TLDR/FAQ

What sportsbook should I use?
It's better to have accounts at multiple sportsbooks, as odds vary. I personally keep Sportsbet.io, Betcoin and BitcoinRush funded for my betting.
If you must choose one, I'd go with BitcoinRush or Betcoin depending on what you bet on. BitcoinRush if you just like the "traditional" betting options such as Moneyline, Totals and Handicap. Betcoin if you want a larger variety.

My own calculations are different!
I aim to be 100% accurate, however mistakes can happen, and sportsbooks can change their margins. Rounding can also cause a minor change in margin. If someone seems considerably off, post in the thread or send me a PM and I'll update it.

Can I stay anonymous?
Betcoin and Nitrogen and won't ask for KYC. Sportsbet.io, Cloudbet and mBitCasino don't require KYC, but may request that you do it. BitcoinRush doesn't require it, but they 'reserve the right' and seem to have a profit limit for those who don't KYC.

Why should I listen to you?
You shouldn't. Don't trust, verify. You can calculate margins yourself using this calculator. I'm a semi-experienced sports bettor who plays medium-ish stakes (50 mBTC to 200 mBTC per bet usually).

Why did you make this thread?
Merit farming. There's no good overview of bitcoin accepting sportsbooks. Those that do exist seem to be very bad.

If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

Miscellaneous

Sportsbet.io offers a 'Price Boost' that lets you boost the odds of a selection, per sport every 24 hours. It reduces margin to anywhere around -1% to 1.5%. If you don't place many bets, and don't mind KYC, Sportsbet.io is the best sportsbook for you.

BitEdge is decent for odds comparisons, but they don't include BitcoinRush or BetKing (the two sites with lowest margins)

Fairlay is a sports betting exchange. It's a bit harder/confusing to use, but you can get lower margins some of the time. They charge a 0.25 mBTC withdraw fee and have a 0.25% commission on winnings, so keep that in mind. BetBTC.co is another option for an exchange, except they charge a whopping 4% commission.

BitcoinRush offers betbacks as part of their loyalty program. It gives you 0.1% of your sport bet back, win or loss and can increase if you wager over 20 BTC. This further decreases the margin.

For transparency, you can view the raw data here.

To sportsbooks: If you improve your margins, send me a PM and I'd be happy to update my overview.

Betcoin: Same odds provider as mBitCasino, except with even higher margin! Zero reason to bet at Betcoin.

This is completely false. Betcoin.ag does not use the same provider as mBitCasino and has not for nearly 1.5 years. We are unsure why OP decided to make this false statement. Betcoin.ag made tremendous improvements in its sports offering to make us competitive with all sports books on the market including fiat and crypto nearly 1.5 years ago. Since then our offerings, activity and experience has improved tremendously. Additionally, we are always looking to improve and look forward to your feedback. We invite you to experience Betcoin.ag Sports today and strongly believe you will have a highly enjoyable experience. Thank you.

My bad, I haven't used your book for about 2 years and when I did, you used UltraPlay. I did check again and it appears to be a different provider. I apologize for my error.
Regardless of provider, on NFL, your even lines at at -111 (1.9 decimal), which is below the industry standard and not at all competitive. That's a 5.26% margin, which is way above all books listed (minus mBitCasino for a few outcomes). Your EPL lines are at ~5.7% for ML, ~6.9% for Handicaps and ~7.1% for Totals (from one event that I checked). MLB margins are all around 6% or higher.

If you ever choose to make your sportsbook competitive, I'd be happy to include you. However, paying an extra 5% of my winnings to you is not something that would be a highly enjoyable experience. You also lack things such as bonuses or promotions that would otherwise make up for your poor margins.

Finally, someone did this. Was mulling it in my head for a while but didn't have the time to collect the necessary information, and am glad DS went ahead with this - few better people in this forum section to make this kind of analysis.

I only bet on football/soccer and the occassional tennis, and have been doing so with Bitcoin since 2017; Bitcoinrush has always had the best odds by far, mainly because Pinnacle gives good odds and BCR has the lowest margins.

Like many betters, my loyalty lies with the lowest margins/best odds - add on top of that BCR's cashback and it's practically a no-brainer.

Thanks so much this is great info. Will have to place a few bets with BitcoinRush, they clearly have the best odds.  Grin Smiley

And they all add up. I don't typically play with big bets, but when long parlays and underdog bets especially translate those thin margin advantages into significant advantages over time. I made this thread to track bets, adding up % and unit advantages over time, simply by choosing the bookie with better odds. As you can see even with about 30 bets so far, there's already a +100 unit advantage, if betting the same amounts every time. All bets were initially made only on BitcoinRush but I recently added BetKing also to reflect their sometimes lower margins especially on Euro football (something I wasn't actually aware of until DarkStar and SyGambler pointed out).

Hello Darkstar, thank you for your excellent work. We would like to point out that our margins are competitive with, or better than mbit casino and sportsbet.io for NFL, most MLB, most UEFA and EPL as well as many others. You should include Betcoin.ag Sports in your analysis. We actually strongly believe in what you are doing and fully support you. You should certainly include one of the first and strongest Bitcoin sportsbooks in the marketplace.

Based on your analysis, we will also be making some changes and will look to you and others for their feedback and experience. We look forward to your thoughts and are always looking to improve. We have worked very hard to make the sportsbook better and continue to try and improve by requesting feedback often. In fact, we just tripled our maximum wager size to 300 mBTC last week!

While we do not currently offer any sports bonuses, we did just institute a sports VIP program where players can earn status points on their sports play to increase your VIP level which can lead to lossback and betback on casino play and soon on their sports play.
https://www.betcoin.ag/betcoin-sports-re-launch-out-beta-get-your-past-status-points-10x-points-next-month

Regarding promotions, we are currently giving away 2 BTC over the regular season in our NFL BitConfidence pool.
https://www.betcoin.ag/nfl-football-promo-bitconfidence-pool-2-btc-guaranteed-prizes
We have been running promos with huge guaranteed added prizes like this for most major events, including most recently the US Open Tennis and World Cup.

Lastly, some other things that set us apart are our large amount of markets per match and our withdrawal times. We see that some of these sites only offer ML, Spread and O/U. We include up to 200 markets for both LIVE and PRE-MATCH for football (soccer) and up to 100 for American football, basketball and baseball. The new provider also has much faster and more accurate grading. We also average 15 minutes for processing of withdrawals, INCLUDING WEEKENDS.

We think it is unfair to call our sportsbook not competitive or say there is no reason to play there. Each sportsbook you mentioned (some of which we recommend ourselves) has it's pros and cons and we hope you would give us another try because there are definitely benefits to playing at Betcoin Sports.

snip

to be competitive with others margin should be way lower than 5% , it's really high and not acceptable
I do gamble every day on sports and I can tell you having a lot of markets to bet on isn't my concern since over 90% I just go for ML , Handicap and over/under
I only use bitcoinrush , betking and sportsbet so it's all about the odds not about the markets available

sportsbet has high margin but they also have price boost where bettors can get odds higher than anywhere else ( even fiat sites ) so IMO sportsbet still way better than betcoin

I hope you consider improving the odds cause such threads will make people realize where they should bet and I would say no one will be using sites that have high margin

Alright. I've added you to the Champions League overview, and I will add you to the other events in the near future. Champions League was the easiest because none of the matches were played yet; I'm not sure what to do for the other events (yet). I look forward to seeing you improve your sportsbook.

Damn you DarkStar, after reading this im now addicted to checking all the margins for my bets before placing them  Grin

Really useful guide though. Could you please add some detail about the territories that the sportsbooks allow? Im not sure if any of the good ones allow UK players

I would add that information, but I think it's probably easier for residents in countries to just check themselves. I do like your idea though! If anyone wants to compile a list, I'd be happy to add it, format it and send you some merits, but not all sportsbooks explicitly state the restrictions. For example, BetKing blocks USA and UK, but only mention UK in their FAQ.

Nice work Darkstar  Cool

Truth be told, a smart punter would use the Sportsbet Price Boosts every 24 hours to maximize the highest odds.

As someone else mentioned, the odds offered w/ Price Boost surpass even fiat sites.

Suggestion for you Darkstar:

Include the odds provider for each Bitcoin sportsbook you've included.

This was mentioned in the Misc section:

Sportsbet.io offers a 'Price Boost' that lets you boost the odds of a selection, per sport every 24 hours. It reduces margin to anywhere around -1% to 1.5%. If you don't place many bets, and don't mind KYC, Sportsbet.io is the best sportsbook for you.

Often, people will want to place multiple bets in a 24 hour period, so Sportsbet.io isn't the best option for them for all of their bets.

Include the odds provider for each Bitcoin sportsbook you've included.

This information is quite hard to come by, and isn't too useful. All books listed have different odds providers (AFAIK) except for Nitrogen & BitcoinRush, who both use Pinnacle lines. Nitrogen is Pinnacle + additional margin, while BitcoinRush is raw Pinnacle lines.

Betcoin- your odds are insulting to say the least.
Tighten up those margins if you want to be at all competitive in this space.

MMA data added. Unfortunately it seems that BitcoinRush is the only competitive option for MMA; all other books, barring Nitrogen have a significantly higher margin. Ice Hockey will be hopefully added by Thursday.

|Betcoin.ag|7.07%|N/A|
|BetKing|5.40%|8.23%|
|BitcoinRush|2.82%|3.80%|
|Cloudbet|5.25%|6.01%|
|Jetwin|8.33%|7.99%|
|mBitCasino|4.85%|6.01%|

yep bicoinrush is dominating the markets when it comes to MMA , the only down side is the small limits where many times I was only able to place 30 mbtc and sometimes it's 60 mbtc but limits go higher at the day of the fight especially few hours before the event start
so would love to see rush raising the limits for MMA especially that most of the times people bet the favorite where the odds can been between 1.2-1.7 and with such limits the potential profit is kinda small

the bitcoinrush limit of 30/60 mbtc is ridiculous. It would be extremely unpleasant to deposit 1 btc and discover that they accept a maximum of 60 mbtc; they have at least one system that tells you what the maximum bet they accept (like what they use pinnacle)

Bitcoinrush may have the lowest margins, but they also have some of the lowest limits available.

Again, thanks for creating this thread  Cool

EDIT:  Maybe also include what sportsbook offer what coins.

Sportsbet.io, for example, is one of the only sportsbooks (to my knowledge) that offers Ethereum sports betting.

Information like this could be useful to newcomers and just in general to the community.

Noted - and yes, we will be adjusting the limits to be higher this weekend ahead of the big MMA fight.

For reference, you can bet the max bet within 2 hours of an event starting. Max bet varies by sport and league, and I can assure everyone here, it goes as high at 1000 mBTC for main events, like NFL. If you are looking for higher limits, just give support a shout and they can always look into your account, play history, etc to make a determination.

If you want to include some useful information, how about including what the maximum wager amount is for certain events.

This was on my list, but it's too complicated and unreasonable to do. For example, there's no easy way to show BitcoinRush's increasing limits, or BetKing's heavily varying limits. Even worse are sites like Sportsbet.io who don't show the limit at all. I've been placing ~140 mBTC Baseball bets on Sportsbet with no issue in the past, and tried to place one today, but I couldn't play over 105 mBTC.

If you're a high roller, there's still probably no singular book that's good for you. For example, BetKing takes 2 BTC bets on some soccer events no problem, but they won't let me place 0.07 BTC on an NFL outcome. If you care about limits for all sports, Cloudbet is likely your best bet.

Sportsbet.io, for example, is one of the only sportsbooks (to my knowledge) that offers Ethereum sports betting.

Information like this could be useful to newcomers and just in general to the community.

Meh. I don't want to deal with the mess that is Ethereum smart contracts for sports betting, and this is an overview of Bitcoin Accepting Sportsbooks. I also don't want to deal with more people requesting altcoins. I believe Sportsbet.io, Betcoin and a million smart contracts offer Ethereum sports betting.

We have had some of the highest limits for a while now, for example we were offering 100 BTC limits during the world cup!

Obviously it varies based on the sport, specific line, the time left till the event, etc, but for most main markets I like to think we are up there with the asian bookmakers and Pinnacle.

Right, I do believe you have the highest limits. I've corrected my statement.

Maybe you won too much and they capped your limits?

Probably. Either way, quite a few books hide their limits so it is not feasible to have a table of limits.

As promised, NHL is added. Jetwin is under maintenance, so their margins are left blank for now.

NHL:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|7.86%|7.52%|8.13%|
|BetKing|4.74%|5.01%|6.39%|
|BitcoinRush|2.42%|2.93%|2.51%|
|Cloudbet|3.76%|4.03%|4.11%|
|Jetwin||||
|mBitCasino|4.35%|4.70%|5.23%|
|Nitrogen|2.97%|3.28%|3.66%|
|Sportsbet.io|3.89%|4.13%|3.82%|

NFL updated to include all books. BetKing is the clear winner in all lines that are close to 50/50 odds, but is a bit worse in less equal ML lines. Also updated BetKing Totals lines for soccer.

BitDice is launching a sportsbook in ~two weeks! Should be interesting to see how they compete.

For the UEFA Nations League: Cloudbet and Jetwin race to see who has the highest margins, and BitcoinRush once again sweeps with the lowest margins overall.

UEFA Nations League:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|5.11%|6.56%|6.99%|
|BetKing|3.96%|8.31%|N/A|
|BitcoinRush|2.96%|3.38%|2.63%|
|Cloudbet|12.75%|5.87%|5.93%|
|Jetwin|12.39%|8.49%|8.41%|
|mBitCasino|5.98%|5.55%|4.89%|
|Nitrogen|3.45%|4.01%|3.18%|
|Sportsbet.io|4.19%|4.92%|3.98%|

Basketball

For Basketball, the Match Winner, Under/Over and Handicap markets are used. The lowest margin is bolded. Cloudbet is currently the best book to play at as BitcoinRush does not have NBA betting available yet, however I fully expect them to add it. I will update my table once they do.

NBA:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Betcoin.ag|5.91%|6.20%|N/A%|
|BetKing|4.55%|4.71%|4.73%|

I don't think there's any malicious intent as my table didn't have BitcoinRush listed. You guys added it an hour or so after I created the table, and my guess is that Cloudbet assumed you didn't have it. Rush is currently marginally (heh) better with 1.51/2.76 versus Cloudbet's 1.51/2.73

Thread updated. BitcoinRush is now included, and they win on everything except for Under/Over markets, where they tie with Cloudbet.

Holy sh*t!  Noice!

I'm aiming to do updates when needed (margin changes, new sports/events, etc). No specific interval; it's going to update when things change.

It definitely wasn't intentional, at the time I checked Sportsbet and Bitcoinrush both had the lines missing (I'm assuming a provider issue as most lines were missing across the board)

It's great to see so many sportsbooks competing to show off the best odds and margins though, it just means better options for the players  Smiley

at the moment bitcoinrush is beating all the other sites like 95% of the times , but would love to see you offering even better odds

I only bet with the site that has higher odds ( as long as it's not 1xbit of course  Cheesy ) so would love to start betting again with cloudbet once I find better odds than rush and king

Live / In-Play odds, selections, markets, etc.  I am spending more and more time playing live and I do not see any information on this.  I have my favorites, but it would be good to hear from you or others on this.

mBitCasino seems to be matching (or even beating!) BitcoinRush in margins for NFL and NBA. Always nice to see a book become more competitive. (they were sitting around 8% margins before this).

I'll try and do the comparisons more if I have time (and we are winning the odds race  Wink)

I tend to post in the sports discussion threads though as I don't want to hijack Darkstar's thread with promotional stuff.

For what sports? Based on my comparisons, you seem to win in a very few number of categories  Tongue
I counted one market in one event from my comparisons where you have the best margins, and you're tied with 2 other sportsbooks there. Perhaps I miscalculated, or you changed your margins. If so, please let me know and I'll update it.

You (and any other book) are welcome to use this thread in promotional material, and post promotional stuff if it's accurate, not misleading, related to margins/best odds or promotions. However, please be respectful and not spam your promotional stuff.

Betcoin has the best live offering in my opinion as they offer the most markets and don't close them as often. Their GUI is pretty bad though. I'll add a more in depth overview of Live betting on sportsbooks in the near future.

This thread is getting even better by the week. So good to check back and see that for once, bookies are comparing their margins against competitors and lowering what used to be extremely high margins on some lines.

Full disclosure, I used to bet only with BitcoinRush, but since coming to know about BetKing's odds on the big European games (football/soccer), I'm spreading my bets across the 2. My findings after almost a month (loosely) comparing on both:

1. In general, BetKing always has better odds than BitcoinRush on popular European games, when choosing winners. However, they offer few, if any, lines on the lower leagues, friendlies, U23s, women or even Continental competition like African, South American, Asian, CONCACAF etc. - and when they do, Rush typically beats them hands down.
2. Over/Unders for goals, cards, corners are usually the other way round, higher odds on Rush. So a simple 2-leg parlay on over/unders can give you 5-8% advantage.
3. Long odds on lesser leagues are usually in your favour if you choose Rush so if I back the underdog, it's almost always on Rush. I don't have enough stats but once you go about 4/1 or higher, you'll likely find Rush with even 2% higher winnings. At around 8/1 or more, it can even hit 3% or more higher winnings.

|Betcoin.ag|2.90%|7.34%|7.16%|
|BetKing|1.96%|2.63%|N/A|
|BitcoinRush|2.86%|2.89%|2.08%|
|Cloudbet|3.83%|5.10%|3.55%|
|Jetwin|8.43%|5.85%|5.98%|
|mBitCasino|5.96%|3.72%|3.09%|
|Nitrogen|3.36%|4.22%|3.60%|
|Sportsbet.io|5.00%|4.69%|4.56%|

Here's a WTA comparison. Unfortunately, Cloudbet didn't offer odds for the major markets of this event, so they were not included. If someone sees them with working pre-live odds, it would be nice if you could send me an archive of the page so they can be added. Not averaged for now because only one WTA final is going on at the moment.

WTA:

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Game HandicapMargin|
|Betcoin.ag|4.76%|5.34%|3.91%|
|BetKing|6.25%|5.87%|5.82%|
|BitcoinRush|2.07%|2.59%|2.56%|
|Cloudbet|N/A|N/A|N/A|
|Jetwin|10.64%|N/A|N/A|
|mBitCasino|3.89%|4.19%|5.26%|
|Nitrogen|3.56%|4.17%|3.95%|
|Sportsbet.io|6.01%|6.14%|5.83%|

BitDice's sportsbook launches tomorrow. I'll try to get comparisons for them up ASAP assuming they have competitive margins.

DarkStar_ is there a reason you did not include Anonibet? What is your opinion on them?

BetBTC.co is another option for an exchange, except they charge a whopping 4% commission

Be aware only the winner pays commission making it equivalent to a 2% house edge, about as good as the lowest edge sportsbooks. The real problem with BetBTC is the lack of liquidity which causes slippage if you wane to make a decent size bet in a hurry.

Could you please add some detail about the territories that the sportsbooks allow? Im not sure if any of the good ones allow UK players

Yeah that is a big problem, we maintain a chart of geoblocking by bitcoin gambling operators here and it's pretty bad news for Brits. If I lived there I would use a VPN.

DarkStar_ is there a reason you did not include Anonibet? What is your opinion on them?

I'm not familiar with them and have not heard of anyone share their experiences recently. I made this post on Peeps Place's sportsbook rating thread:

Anyone know what happened to Anonibet? Their promotions seemed pretty good and I was thinking of depositing, but their forum account hasn't logged on since July, hasn't posted since June 2017, and their thread seems to be filled with complaints.

Peeps, have you used or know anyone who has used Anonibet recently?

No response from anyone who recently used it. I wanted to try them myself, but I kept getting randomly logged out. I would include them if I was sure they were still operating, but I am not.

That would be true except their Taker odds are already worse than low edge sportsbooks for the most part, so you would have to make your own odds and hope it gets matched. For example:

BetBTC on Left, BitcoinRush on Right

@1.74 becomes @1.71 after commission, @4.1 becomes @3.98 and @4.9 becomes @4.74 after commission. I'm sure there's a few games where you might come out ahead, but generally I believe Fairlay is better due to a much smaller 0.25% commission on winnings and increased liquidity.

Really amazing work. Thanks for doing it. I'm sure bookies will also keep an eye on this, and this will probably generate a healthy competition among them, "forcing" them to lower their margins to be competitive, which will benefit all of us.

Any plans on adding E-Sports comparison since they are quite popular these days?

Also, I do notice sometimes, that inside each League, popular games seem to get "different treatment/margin", and although the average margin for the entire League (let's say La Liga) could be better on a certain bookie, a popular game (let's say Barcelona vs Real Madrid) would have a better margin on another one.

This is just my impression, and I didn't do any particular work to back this up, it's just based on my impression of course, but I'm curious to know if there is any way to check this by monitoring these type of important games (top level teams, that usually generate a bigger volume of bets among users) individually?

Edit: An overview like this but on sportsbooks promotions, or loyalty programs would also be great, but I guess that would be to much work to ask.

Thanks! So far, mBit lowered their margins for some sports (not sure if it's because of this) and BetKing + Betcoin have lowered their margins as a direct result of this thread.

Also, I do notice sometimes, that inside each League, popular games seem to get "different treatment/margin", and although the average margin for the entire League (let's say La Liga) could be better on a certain bookie, a popular game (let's say Barcelona vs Real Madrid) would have a better margin on another one.

I've looked at some of the more "interesting" games and it doesn't seem to happen for the low margin bookmakers. It might happen for more important events such as finals, but all Soccer matches are quite big. This is more evident in sports like Tennis, where Finals has lower margins than Round of 16 or whatever.

Any plans on adding E-Sports comparison since they are quite popular these days?

Soon™. There's a lot of E-Sports competitions though, so I'm not sure what would be a good way to offer E-Sports comparisons. Have any recommendations?

Edit: An overview like this but on sportsbooks promotions, or loyalty programs would also be great, but I guess that would be to much work to ask.

Promotions is something I've been meaning to do. It will come Soon™.

Unfortunately None of this bookmakers are in My country except Betking But it is a different Betking. Totally a different Betking.  currently None of the Bookmakers here have any idea of adding bitcoin as a means of payment.

DarkStar- Sorry for not getting back to you on Anonibet. They are still up and running. As you will notice the margins are very high on American sports. Payouts aren't up to par with other bitcoin books.

Even though their margins are very high, on occasion they will have the best line on a side. The same occurs over at Betcoin. Even if the margin is high on a particular event, you may be able to find a line better than other books on one side and payouts are fast.

Well, just aftery update here almost a week ago, findings have changed. Only some days since, so perhaps a coincidence, but it would appear Betking at least has lowered margins even more, as DS/OP indicates.

This week alone, I've seen even or even better odds on BK compared to Rush on major games for Over/Unders as well as for the significant underdog. Previous bets always on Rush with best margins for long odds... So maybe this is no longer the case.

@Frue yeah definitely more tinkering with odds on the maajor games... And more frequent/volatile odds on them. Exotic pickings hardly move odds until closer to match.

Thanks for getting back to me! Anonibet seems to have decent margins for European football. I'm still not sure whether I should add them though, given how inactive they are. They don't have particularly good margins, so I feel it might not be worth the work to add them.

I've definitely noticed for Betcoin. I do encourage people to shop for odds, but I should probably add a disclaimer somewhere that states "lowest margins doesn't always mean the best odds" somewhere.

Hi Op was going through some of the posts here and two words caught my eye because this is a sportbook thread and thought the terms apply to a casino. The words in question are "commission" and "house edge", now if you can be generous to explain to me how these come in play because with bookies I get what I paid for, example bet on an inplay epl game at odds of 2.3odds and payout comes as advertised once it's declared a winning wager! So were is the commission or house edge here...?

Sorry forgive me am not a pro gambler, but you can educate me.

Let's say we have a simple match between two teams with no possibility of Draw. We'll call it Team A vs Team B. The probability of each team winning is 50%.
A sportsbook with a 2.56% margin will give you odds of 1.95 on each outcome. 1.95 represents a 51.28% chance of winning, when in reality it is only 50%. This is present on both sides, so the total margin is 1.28% * 2 = 2.56%.

A sportsbook with a 5.26% margin will give you odds of 1.9 on each outcome. It represents a 52.63% chance of the team winning, but the real chance of winning is only 50%.

You get what you paid for, but books with lower house edges will give you more for the same payment.

Thread makes much more sense now with the numbers game going on, and just to be clear the house edge in this case is the margin??
By the way thanks for the enlightenment Smiley

Yup, statistically the house is supposed to profit the margin percentage with each bet. Same as house edge.

Just to give an example of where a book may have a higher theoretical hold but better line on one side, Betcoin has Dallas -200 on the ML in the NFL game tonight. After that I it looks like -225 is the best.

Total number of LIVE events also indicates the quality of sportsbook. IMO, it would be useful to compare this index as well.

If you're hoping to shill for Jetwin, their live offering is garbage. You might want to shill their promotions instead as that seems to be the only thing they might actually be a viable option from. Only 1 American football match is available live right now on Jetwin while Sportsbet has 6 live. Betcoin has all 7. Jetwin's live margins are no surprise below all other books, with -123/@1.81 evens versus Sportsbet's -114/@1.88 or Betcoin's -111/@1.9.

Just saw the news, it seems Betking's just taken down their sportsbook, with no plans to add it back any time soon. Owner citing low traffic in chat. I was just beginning to enjoy their odds, they took about half of my bets ever since joining late September.

It's quite strange to me that volume of play still goes to bookies with much higher margins, even with threads like these showing people what a big difference lower margins can make even if tiny fractions are shaved off. Must be something about the mentality of sports bettors I'm not understanding.

there is one new sportsbook that emerged not so long ago: https://www.betbit.com/
their topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5056786
while it is not the best sportsbook I have seen and I haven't tested deposits/withdrawals just yet , but they claim there is no  KYC and their events list is quite good
by the way, the owner offers free 0.003 btc with 10x rollover requirement bonus for legendary members to try the site out
you could check it out and decide if it is worth including or not

Since OP said that he will add esport but he still not do it yet and I also doing comparisons on esport too. I decided to shared it here.

I have to included 1xbit here because It provide biggest coverage in esport. Can't skip them sorry.

ESPORT:
- = Not available.
|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Buff88|5.88%|6.25%|6.21%|
|1xbit|7.40%|9.77%|8.56%|
|mBitCasino|5.88%|6.25%|6.21%|
|Nitrogen|5.97%|-|-|
|Sportsbet.io|5.90%|7.86%|7.97%|

Now compare with real money sportsbook.

|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|bet365|7.61%|9.11%|5.79%|
|Pinnacle|4.87%|-|4.78%|
|gg.bet|5.53%|7.53%|7.41%|

Overall: esport have extremely high margin. Even Pinnacle have 4.87% margin. I hope in future some sportsbook can step up and give better margin than this.

Update
This time I'll use Astralis vs Liquid as the reference of comparisons. It's 5 stars match and one of the best match in this month. So I think all sportsbook will make their margin better than old one

- mean Not available.
= mean odd is same (look at percentage and it will tell which one is duplicate)
|Sportsbook|Match Winner Margin|Over/Under Margin|Handicap Margin|
|Buff88|6.21% (=)|6.53% (=)|6.44% (=)|
|1xbit|4.38%|8.23% (=)|8.82%|
|mBitCasino|6.21% (=)|6.53% (=)|6.44% (=)|
|Nitrogen|-|-|-|
|Sportsbet.io|5.88%|8.23% (=)|8.23% (=)|

Overall: I don't have time to do real money sportsbook comparisons but I can tell that 1xbit match winner margin is less than Pinnacle (4.83%) but Over/under and Handicap still have high margin.

Thanks for doing this! Mind if I add it to the thread (with credit to you)?

Also, what event(s) did you compare? I would expect that margins highly differ in eSports depending on the event - some minor CS:GO qualifier is going to have a higher margin than LoL Worlds.

No problem! You can put my comparisons to main thread. And it's BIG vs HellRaisers which is 3rd place decider match for SuperNova CS:GO Malta. BIG is #10 and HellRaisers is #15. Liquid (#3) also attend in this event but Liquid play in grand final. I pick this because this match is very close. Unlike grand final where Liquid look like big overdog.
Tomorrow will be the first day of one of the biggest CS:GO event ($750,000 price pool. Almost all top 10 team attend) So I might gonna do it again in tomorrow Cheesy

How about onehash? Since they just open their new dice site, I juat remembered that they had their sportbetting game too. Why dont you include it on your post? Is their odds not good enough to be listed on your overview? Or they have some issues? You should put every sportbetting site and compare their odds right?

OneHash is a horrible site for anyone who wants to bet on sports to make a profit. They aren't included because of that reason, and because they aren't a traditional sportsbook.

To start:
1. They have a 5% margin. For a site that takes zero risk, that is extremely high and already a losing proposition against the good sportsbooks available
2. It's mutual betting, so there aren't fixed odds. You could bet on an outcome that many others also bet on, reducing the odds likely below what other sportsbooks offer
3. It's very unprofitable for someone to bet large amounts. For example, I had 300 mBTC on Man City to win versus Watford today. I placed my bet on Betcoin.ag and got odds @ 1.35. This was the market for Man City vs Watford on OneHash:

Odds on Man City were @ 1.153, which is significantly less than other books. BitcoinRush closed @ 1.37 odds, which is more than double.
There was only 25 mBTC in the pool for the whole match, with the majority on Man City. If I placed a 300 mBTC bet on OneHash, I think I would end up with odds around @ 1.03 because I would likely be the only large bettor.

They are only good if:
1. You are extremely casual for betting and don't care about making a profit
2. You bet under 1 mBTC, as you would heavily decrease the odds for your outcome otherwise
3. You want to gamble on the odds that you get being better than traditional books, as well as the event

3. You want to gamble on the odds that you get being better than traditional books, as well as the event

This. It can be very profitable to use pool betting sites when you are tipping on underdog. I managed to get from 0.06 ETH to a little bit more than 3 ETH one low volume site accepting only ETH (0xgame). Working trough smart contracts without any fees. I managed to get quite high odds for draws or upsets and big number of small bets (0.001-0.05 ETH) paid of in the long run. Problem is that they have almost no volume and very small selection of games. I learned about this one from beginning and there was few situations where you could take a whole pool with 1 cent bet since nobody was betting on the underdog Smiley Good times

Go check this site only if you have high tolerance for quirky behavior. They are legit but just starting and you need to put some effort to use it. Lots of refreshing & sync problems. Metamask is a requirement.

Is there some pool betting site with decent amount of volume? So I can place at least a bet of 10$ without significantly changing the odds. And sorry for a bit off topic post since the title says bitcoin accepting.

Is there some pool betting site with decent amount of volume? So I can place at least a bet of 10$ without significantly changing the odds. And sorry for a bit off topic post since the title says bitcoin accepting.

OneHash has large volume for some events (someone chucked 0.1 BTC on Madrid to win vs Melilla @ 1.00 odds lmao) I don't believe there are any other sites (maybe some random smart contract?) with high volume.

Thanks. That is exactly the type of bet where I would have put small bets on draw and Melilla wining. I know it is a long shot but when you get odds that are much better when compered to standard bookies it always pays out in the long run.

Edit: Just realized it is today. Now I have to wait until few minutes till the start of the game and place bets if the odds stay the same.

BitDice still hasn't launched their book, and Jetwin is currently in the process of relaunching their "new and better" sportsbook. Should be interesting to see what comes out of that.

In the meantime, Betcoin has significantly improved their margins on European Soccer ML bets with a killer margin of around 1.6% for EPL! If you bet soccer MLs and don't have trust issues with Betcoin, I would certainly make a deposit there.

I have been using them for more than 1 year now and I have not for ones have problem with withdrawal. I think they are also great and they deserve to be on the list. I do not like betcoin. the site to me is not that friendly. High CPU which cause browser to freeze

1xbit is owned by 1xbet which many people have problems with. I cannot in good faith recommend anyone register there. There are lot of complaints on SBR. (1) (2)

It's *probably* fine if you play small and don't win, but you'll likely have issues with high amounts and winning.

I checked and I can see numerous complains about the bookmarker. I have cashout big from them before. all my previous winning is less than 0.1 BTC and my highest cashout has been 0.065 BTC. I will keep eyes crossed about your recommendations. Almost all sportsbooks are having problem with payment in one way or the other but when complain is getting too much then it means the sportbook is not good.

The trouble with odds on bitcoin accepting sportsbooks is that when one of their odds are a bit off it doesn't really make a big difference enough to change places. For example lets say I am wagering on at nitrogensports and I see a sportsbet.io with a better odd, for me to send my money from nitrogen to sportsbet and wager there would cost me more in transaction fee than actual odd difference.

Normally if you could do that with something like eth or even nano that would have been cheap and you could bet wherever you want but it is not that easy with bitcoin unless you wager a big amount. I always try to keep my money in my wallet for that reason and even wager at onehash because sometimes the odds are really bad there but sometimes they are really awesome since they are all wagered amount dependent for it.

that's not the case , I mean yeah if you are just gambling for the fun and have like 0.01 BTC total to gamble then yeah it won't make sense to keep moving the funds between sites
but if you are really serious about betting then you should be ready to bet in all the good sites and you should divide your bankroll among them

in general if you want to use just one site then this thread is a great guide so you can pick the site that suits you the most
personally I recommend joining all the trusted sites and always bet the highest odds

As a counterpoint, if you see Nitrogen has an odd, you can move all of your funds to BitcoinRush to constantly get better odds (or equal in the case of soccer Draws) as long as it's also offered by BitcoinRush. Sportsbet has free withdraws and Nitrogen has free withdraws every week so it wouldn't cost all that much, depending on how much you bet. If you have a very small bankroll, then it's probably not worth it. But if you bet to make a profit, then you should certainly try to compare odds.

It might be an issue with Fairlay and their 0.25 mBTC withdraw fees, but most of the sites with good margins have free withdraws.

Definitely good advice not recommending 1xbit. Not only have they stiffed players but they deal a second line with a much higher margin. I'm not sure if the second line is for sharp action or winnings.

I didn't know about this topic before I selected my sportsbook at the time but bitcoinrush seem to be the best odds in almost any given game. Now I don't doubt darkstar_ is legit and not a puppet for bitcoinrush since he is known to make these kinds of posts all the time and he has always been honest but that leaves the question of why would other casinos not improve looking at this.

I mean if you are a sportsbook and you are listed here and see that bitcoinrush offers the best odds for any sportsbook including yours, wouldn't you want to beat them and lower your odds in order to be the best odd giver in crypto sportsbook world? Would you just say "whatever" and continue with your life? Whats the point of giving higher odds if it means overtime people will leave towards other games? Also darkstar_ , when was the last time you checked the odds because if the odds are still like this, I think I may move to bitcoinrush.

They don't change because people for the most part don't care and will just blindly bet at Nitrogen. I've seen quite a few people on the forum (ie Joca97 and some random Newbie) claim that Nitrogen has the best odds, which is clearly false.

Margins shown here should still be accurate.

I think that your margins are still accurate and very useful. Most of my play is with Nitrogen, Betcoin and Bitcoinrush. There are reasons to play at all three such as limits, withdrawal times, markets both pregame and live. The hold on NFL sides with Nitrogen (2.69%) and Bitcoinrush (2.67%) are almost identical and Betcoin is the best for EPL and other major European soccer.

Those 3 are definitely the best books as far as safety in getting paid and not being hassled with KYC.

Seriously asking for KYC on a gambling website is the stupidest thing anyone can do.

Are these people unaware of their customers so much that they would ask KYC to begin with ?
I mean most of us come from countries where gambling is illegal and that is why we gamble in crypto currency instead of fiat, online gambling is not something I prefer to do but I have to do considering its not allowed in my country, so instead of illegally gamble here, I am going to give all my info to crypto casinos and get caught gambling because I accepted the casinos KYC deal and gave them all my information? Not a chance.

About the similarity on the odds, I think working on 3 different sportsbook is a bit tiring and I usually opt for just one even if they have worse odds in couple games but not all, if it is worse odds on everything than I don't deal with it.

completely agree with the above.
KYC is missing the point completely and makes you wonder... if they misunderstand that so badly.... what hope is there for the rest of their business? Agree also that value hunting every last 0.1% can sometimes play second fiddle to simple time saved by using one sportsbook. sometimes my time is worth more than the extra edge i can get with swapping another sportsbook.

@kuko7,

past few years they require KYC very often.

But now they often block accs or cancel promotion even without KYC.
You can use search in this forum.

If you want to play without promos and non huge amount - sportsbet don't require KYC and cashouts are very fast(as I know)

Depending on the turnover amount gambling sites can require documents for KYC,AML procedures. There are anonymous type of sports betting sites which have stated limits and you can bet big amounts with multiple accounts that are allowed without hidden rules.

Other than the withdraw limit mentioned by onecall123, most likely they KYC quite often if you win a large amount and don't care if you lose.

I think all fiat requires KYC. For bitcoin, Nitrogen, Betcoin and Bitcoinrush don't require KYC.

I believe Peeps' is correct for fiat. kuko7, try contacting Sportsbet (either through email or live chat) and see what they say.

hmm not sure about that to be honest , for example I use a fiat broker that accepts bitcoin and they told me they don't have KYC for bitcoin users
I have been using them for around 1 year now and still able to deposit and withdraw without KYC
so don't think that fiat always mean KYC applied

The difference is if you are a fiat currency sportsbook there is only two way of doing it, either you do it legally and try to open bank accounts and have accountants and lawyers and KYC as well which allows the sports book to be as legit as it gets or you open something like curacoa or whatever type place and run a shady fiat sportsbook which allows you to be more free but also creates a chance of scamming the customers.

When the sportsbooks are crypto they do not need to be based anywhere and they do not need to involve fiat to be legit, they are just crypto to crypto, you deposit btc and you withdraw btc without a need for a bank, if they want to put fiat into that it will create a whole type of problems for them. Hence why already existing fiat sportsbooks could add in crypto but the already existing crypto sportsbooks try NOT to add fiat.

True. In the UK they do it legally. In Curacao they get a sublicense that doesn't mean a thing. A lot open in Costa Rica since they only need a Data Processing License. What's nice about Nitrogen is even though they are in Costa Rica, some of the names are public knowledge. The shops in Costa Rica and Curacao that are heavy handed on asking for KYC are just doing it to grab our money.

yes, can't believe a sportsbook offering fiat deposits without KYC would last very long....

hmm not sure about that to be honest , for example I use a fiat broker that accepts bitcoin and they told me they don't have KYC for bitcoin users
I have been using them for around 1 year now and still able to deposit and withdraw without KYC
so don't think that fiat always mean KYC applied
Brokers are different. Some do and some don't.

Yup.  And why not go deposit straight to a BTC sports betting site directly?  Much easier and more convenient that way...  And faster deposits/withdrawals.

This is true up to a point.. but sportsbet.io started accepting fiat some time ago (started in 2018 I think?). Because fiat is still obviously by far the biggest market, so it is very tempting to try and expand into it. What they don't seem to do is exchange fiat to crypto (or vice versa).. I guess this is because that makes them a crypto exchange and that kind of activity - when not carried out according to regulatory frameworks - attracts the attention of a *lot* of scary authorities.

Just for reference:

Uefa Champions League
Porto vs AS Roma -0.5/+0.5 Asian Handicap Market
                                  ODDS      (MARGIN)
asian market       1.900 / 2.070    (0.94%)
fairlay                  1.920 / 2.020    (1.59%)
bitcoinrush          1.880 / 2.050    (1.97%)
nitrogensports     1.877 / 2.033    (2.46%)
fortunejack          1.810 / 1.900    (7.88%)

odds presented at 12:00 GMT(00:00)

P.S. It's one of the most popular events today. Other examples have even worse results.

Conclusion: Bitcoins sports betting market is not developed yet.

while I do agree that asian market is still way better than most of bitcoin sites , but it's also better than pretty much all other big fiat names as well so it's not fair to do this comparison

also fairlay and bitcoinrush odds are from pinnacle , and pinnacle is the biggest brand in Asia

Interesting comparisons, but SyGambler makes good points. Agree generally that Bitcoin sports betting still has space to mature, and not just %s.

I added "Asian market" for comparison (odds you can get using a betting broker like vodds or sportsmarket). I think a crypto sports betting industry has a huge potential because operational cost  should be lower with crypto + anonymity. Also bitcoin is not the best option because of confirmation time. Bookie should offer some altcoins because some times people want to make quick depo + quick bet combination (late decision) and don't want to hold to mach money in sports book accounts.

That's true and that is the reason I started using wbet7. They accept deposits in ETH and few other alts. You can start betting after 3 confirmations for ETH, didn't try others. Usually, I have money in the account within few minutes. If you decide to use them just be careful that you deposit exactly the same amount as you enter in wbet7 site. They have a bit funny way of recognizing deposits (same address for multiple users I believe). I changed my mind once (didn't initiate new deposit) and had to wait for a day before they manually credited my account.

They had quite bad odds in the past but nowadays the situation looks a bit better.

Thanks for suggestion. Just made a cursory overview.

Pros:
+ Instant deposit / withdraw (only depends on block-chain confirmation time (looks like it's totally automatic).
+ Real multi-crypto-curency sports-book (ETH, ETC, BTC, BCH, DOGE, LTC, DASH, VTC, MONA) and you bet directly with currency you deposited (don't convert to some obscure shitcoins).
+ Withdrawal without any fees, (looks like it's unique feature nowadays) they pay transaction fees when you request withdrawal.
+ Very nice and convenient UI (a lot of bookies bloated with ugly javascript code and flash banners) this one looks nice, clean and fast.
+ Fast bet grading (unlike nitrogensports).

Cons:
- Juice odds and poor bet options for major sports.
Example:
NBA Portland Trail Blazers v Oklahoma City Thunder
I see here only ML and OVER/UNDER markets (no spreads, no quarters, etc..)
with odds kike Portland 1.56 vs Oklahoma 2.46 (margin = 4.75%)
- wbet7 limits players.
- Some cases of voiding bets after match is started (this is a big red flag for me).

Conclusion:
This is a jock bookie (for recreational players) with trust issues (voiding bets) and should be avoided by everyone until wbet7 makes significant improvements towards their reputation.

 EPL Southampton vs  Liverpool

Fairlay OVER 2.5 goals market: 12:00 GMT 00

https://fairlay.com/market/southampton-vs-liverpool-119/?referral=81e186f2-0d5e-441c-be8c-d0c8badd1e3d

BACK 1.752 <---> LAY 1.766
convert to asian total:
OVER 1.752 vs UNDER 2.305
The bookmaker takes a margin of 0.46% (payout is: 99.54%).

Even if you add exchange commission (up to 0.25%) you will not get better odds anywhere (except Asian brokers).

Has DarkStar_ been keeping up to date with this?

Clearly https://www.bitcoinrush.io was the heavy favorite, but looking to see if someone is checking this regularly?

We'd love to be on http://bitedge.com/ , but the owner (James) has a bit of a beef with the founder of Rush... we're trying to mend that wound.

Been busy and haven't had much time unfortunately.

Changes for the top books would be:
* Betcoin no longer holds EPL crown I believe
* BetBTC needs to be added and trades blows with BitcoinRush (Pinnacle lines vs rounded Pinnacle lines)

taking a break - expect delayed responses

Another bitcoin bookie similar to fortunejack is bitdice, they have odds for ITF matches and have additional lines for handicaps and totals.

You need to create an account to check their odds but if you want to see a preview of their odds here's a screenshot.

yeah ATM fortunejack still beats pretty much all the other bookies when it comes to the different leagues and competitions that they offer
in my experience even when you find a tennis match with bitdice you will find it as well with fortunejack with slightly better odds

but personally fortunejack is lowering their odds for me for some events , for example sometimes the odds will be 1.85 in fortunejack and when I try to bet they will tell me odds dropped to X1.70
even the prices in the other sites like sportsbet and bitdice will be like 1.83 ( slightly lower but nowhere near the drop in fortunejack )

so it's good to have account in bitdice just for these scenarios in case a drop happens in FJ

This is what I'm doing between FJ and Bitdice since I'm very meticulous when comparing up some odds.It might really be very minimal for some but changes in values does really matter to me. A good suggestion for somebody to take.

do these drops happen with you as well ? thought they happen only to certain accounts
cause sometimes they don't make sense , for example today for over and under corners in Argentina vs Venezuela
tried the overs they told me odds dropped , then tried the unders and they told me odds dropped as well  Grin

even pinnacle had better prices for both of selections , so I thought they are doing these drops just for some accounts cause sometimes they don't make sense at all

but the majority of times my bets get accepted to be fair

There are times but not frequent maybe 2-3 times as far as i remember. If this do happen only on certain accounts then its an odd thing.

It might be their way of blocking your account because in their rules that having several accounts is not allowed and most gambling site have the same rules on making more than one account.

What about single bets are you also limited or no?

I can't bet singles bet as well . They allow me to bet from minimum 2 picks with odds min. 1.25 . It's harder for me , but i'm trying to follow cause can't find any other solution to bet my own bets anywhere else .

if you don't mind can you please share what's your average bet size and what do you usually bet ?
for me I'm still not limited directly since it seems when they want to limit the players they send an email telling the player than he can't place single bets anymore
so far I'm able to bet singles but I'm having a lot of trouble betting the ITF

I haven't won much with the ITF , won like 0.08 BTC or so and my average bet is 7.5 mbtc on these ITF matches but I'm having troubles betting them now with FJ
still not limited as I stated but they are dropping the odds for me or they just tell me that the limit for the game is 2-3 mbtc ( not always but over 80% of the times )

not sure if this is a new policy and happening with all the players , but one month ago this wasn't happening

Betcoin.ag busy bragging on how they are becoming the best, while their site is not even good at all. I clicked on their link and visited their sports page and nothing was showing up, had good network but the site loading was very slow. Funny. And BTW… who knows whether sportsbet.io is reliable? I have seen someone rate them bad in terms of making payments, and oh… There were other complaints as well but I can’t remember what they were. Do they pay out fast or just another sports book that takes a long time before they pay their players? I prefer betting sites that process their payment fast.

I also had the same loading time when visiting betcoin.ag recently, I wouldn't call it slow but there's a small duration (10-15 seconds) before it shows up.

To me they're reliable my payments are always processed within a minute or less but don't take my word for it because i'm only a small gambler, things could be way different for the high rollers.

Sportsbet.io pays out the fastest compared to all sportsbooks I've used for the majority of the time. It's been instant if it's a smaller amount, but I've had to wait up to an hour or so for some larger (> 0.5 BTC) withdraws. This was my personal experience.

JETWIN. No one offers more tennis events:

Yup, if you like to bet on ITF and don't mind keeping your balances in fiat, Jetwin is a great option for that.

I'm planning on doing a complete overhaul of this thread in the near future. This is my current to-do list:
- Add BetBTC.co (also uses Pinnacle, but doesn't round like BitcoinRush does)
- Add PlayBetr (?) - they're basically Betcoin lines except balances are fiat denominated
- Add a Sportsbet.io boosted margin comparison with proper disclaimers (you can only boost one event per sport per 24 hours, you could lose your boost privileges, you can't boost all odds so technically the margin is unobtainable for people without multiaccounting)
- Add information about withdraw speeds
- Add info about promotions/bonuses (BetBTC with a deposit bonus, Sportsbet with free bets and spins, BitcoinRush with betback, Betcoin with betback and lossback, maybe other promotions that I can't think of off of the top of my head)
- Update margins for all events across all books

Anyone else have anything they'd like to see?

Also, note that I have reached an agreement with Sportsbet.io to promote them in my personal text and avatar. Opinions, as always, are my own.

actually I just created my account with Jetwin , last time I used them was like 3 years ago
I'm really impressed with the variety of the games that they offer , was able to find some football friendlies as well that the majority of BTC books aren't offering

the only thing worrying me is that the rep isn't that much active these days , Jetwin should keep posting updates in their thread

Fortunejack limited my several accounts (

They not allow me to take express ( 2-5 match in one bet with odds not lower than 1.25 )

if you don't mind can you please share what's your average bet size and what do you usually bet ?
for me I'm still not limited directly since it seems when they want to limit the players they send an email telling the player than he can't place single bets anymore
so far I'm able to bet singles but I'm having a lot of trouble betting the ITF

I haven't won much with the ITF , won like 0.08 BTC or so and my average bet is 7.5 mbtc on these ITF matches but I'm having troubles betting them now with FJ
still not limited as I stated but they are dropping the odds for me or they just tell me that the limit for the game is 2-3 mbtc ( not always but over 80% of the times )

not sure if this is a new policy and happening with all the players , but one month ago this wasn't happening

My average stake is 5-10 mbtc and i'm trying to bet asian handicaps and total games for ITF tournaments.

Is there a setting somewhere for this, or is it set when the account is created? I'm looking through my Jetwin account and everything seems to be a fiat balance without an option to change.

How about to add information about Deposit speeds as well (0 confirmations vs 1).

Ideal for last minute deposits when Blockchain is congested and can be very useful information.

created my account this morning and it asks you for 3 things : email , password and the currency you want to bet with
I instantly chose mbtc and made deposit after creating my account , my balance was shown in mbtc and I was able to bet mbtc

so yeah you can use bitcoin instead of fiat , the only catch is that limits are really low for some reason ( not sure if they have that only for mbtc )
but it only allowed me to bet 4 mbtc on FIFA women game while other sites allow you to bet much bigger on this market

EDIT : just saw that they replied to my comment in their thread and here is the quote

Our new sportsbook is in BETA, this is why our standard bet limits are $50 across all tournaments. We plan to finish BETA monitoring this week.
I can suggest you to contact our support team and request higher limits. They review each request individually by analyzing your previous betting activity.

Many powerful features will be available soon. Keep an eye on this thread!

Regarding Jetwin, I am liking what you guys wrote up until now since I am big tennis fan and tennis is probably my most lucrative sport when betting. I am interested in handicaps, match handicaps, set handicaps and even first set handicaps, are they available at least for bigger tournaments? Odds are really low these days for straight win and I find much better value taking handicaps on underdogs, especially during grass season.

for the big events yes jetwin seems really good , just checked and sometimes they have better value than pinnacle for some matches and players
in general for ATP and WTA you should be fine with any pinnacle alternative , but it's always good to check other sites as well for better value
but Pinnalce is usually the best for these type of matches

I guess this is the only sportsbook with instant deposit and instant withdrawal at the same time, correct me if I'm wrong, but I really enjoy this kind of feature from a sportsbook as it really fits my style of gambling, I love to deposit in the last minute and withdraw right away if I win, then refill the next time I gamble.

Yes it is one of the few sportbooks which offer instant deposit and withdrawals however before letting anyone wothdrawing they should put a limit of 3 confirmation of the deposit in order to avoid double spending as bad people may start to try and cheat for their own benefit.

Betcoin.ag saying they don't use the same provider as Mbitcasino for over 1.5 years now, lol that doesn't make any difference… they made use of that provider… so there is really no difference. And as for Sportsbet.io I have been seeing a lot of complaints about them recently and that even made me to take a break from making use of their website because it seems like everything is no longer as it used… or is it just a normal thing for a site to be getting negative reviews as well? Since its possible that they can never be able to please everyone. But whatever… they should try to up their game… not here to post criticism about them.

It does make a big difference, the two sites have fairly different offerings as a result. The fact that they used it in the past has no affect on their future offerings.

Link me to the negative Sportsbet.io reviews? Their thread has been quiet with just signature spammers posting recently (and game-protect), so I haven't seen any credible negative reviews. Everyone does get negative reviews at some point though, Nitrogen is probably the biggest in the space and they've had a lot of issues.

Thank you for this information.
I was looking for something like this and @sunsilk told me about this topic.

As you said you will update it, please add more information about fees for withdrawals,

Every now and then I manually look for new bitcoin sportsbooks and this time I found the following list:

bitgame.online/sports

moolah.bet

bitgame.online/sports

betonbit.com/betting

sportbet.one

onebet.io

Does anyone know what odds providers these sportsbooks use?
All bitcoin sportsbooks use external odds providers as we know, so can anyone help me find out which ones? This makes it easier for odds scanning services

moolah.bet

moolahbet launched just few days ago , at the moment they only offer dice and slots
I asked their admin regarding sports and he said it will probably launch next year so it won't launch anytime soon , no info at all regarding the provider

bitgame.online/sports

bitgame used to offer unibet/888 odds when I used to play there , not sure if they changed that and I can't check their site currently

Have some spare time and reached out to Sportbet. One representative here in Bitcointalk. He said that he can't share that specific information but also told me that "basically, we get odds from the number of the major bookies like bet365, pinnacle." So there you go for that certain sportsbook.

moolahbet launched just few days ago , at the moment they only offer dice and slots
I asked their admin regarding sports and he said it will probably launch next year so it won't launch anytime soon , no info at all regarding the provider

bitgame.online/sports

bitgame used to offer unibet/888 odds when I used to play there , not sure if they changed that and I can't check their site currently

Nice spot! You are right, Bitgame still is a copycat of Unibet. And Moolah indeed is coming later.

Since you seem to know what you're talking about, would you mind having a look at the other ones in my list if you have some spare time?

Just checked out this thread(Somehow missed finding it for so long) and am impressed with the margin comparisons. I usually refer to

https://www.top100bookmakers.com/profit-margin/  for any margin related queries.

Never knew that Bitcoinrush and Betcoin had such low margins which is why I definitely will be betting there more often. Also, I think it would be better if Pinnacle would be added to the list since it makes comparisons easier.

sportbet.one said that they have a friend who is providing the odds so I'm not really sure about it
their live betting though looks really close to bet365 but they don't provide all the betting lines and the price is usually a couple of cents worse

the other two sites I really have no idea about since I never used them or even visited them , I remember checking betonbit in the past and they weren't actually worth the try so I didn't bother trying them

Nice list. I recently registered to Bitbook, a sportsbook and casino online but I haven't tried betting yet. I just want to kill some time so I tried playing some regular games. I will check the sites you recommended on page one too.

Sportsbet have a decent website and customer service, but I never saw them as competing on price. However, I'd be surprised if they aren't a bit more competitive than you say. Do you have any data on their prices compared to others?

I'm planning on doing a complete overhaul of this thread in the near future. This is my current to-do list:
- Add BetBTC.co (also uses Pinnacle, but doesn't round like BitcoinRush does)
- Add information about withdraw speeds
- Add info about promotions/bonuses (BetBTC with a deposit bonus...)
- Update margins for all events across all books

...

Please let us know if you need any info to proceed with this.
