How about onehash? Since they just open their new dice site, I juat remembered that they had their sportbetting game too. Why dont you include it on your post? Is their odds not good enough to be listed on your overview? Or they have some issues? You should put every sportbetting site and compare their odds right?

OneHash is a horrible site for anyone who wants to bet on sports to make a profit. They aren't included because of that reason, and because they aren't a traditional sportsbook.

To start:
1. They have a 5% margin. For a site that takes zero risk, that is extremely high and already a losing proposition against the good sportsbooks available
2. It's mutual betting, so there aren't fixed odds. You could bet on an outcome that many others also bet on, reducing the odds likely below what other sportsbooks offer
3. It's very unprofitable for someone to bet large amounts. For example, I had 300 mBTC on Man City to win versus Watford today. I placed my bet on Betcoin.ag and got odds @ 1.35. This was the market for Man City vs Watford on OneHash:

Odds on Man City were @ 1.153, which is significantly less than other books. BitcoinRush closed @ 1.37 odds, which is more than double.
There was only 25 mBTC in the pool for the whole match, with the majority on Man City. If I placed a 300 mBTC bet on OneHash, I think I would end up with odds around @ 1.03 because I would likely be the only large bettor.

They are only good if:
1. You are extremely casual for betting and don't care about making a profit
2. You bet under 1 mBTC, as you would heavily decrease the odds for your outcome otherwise
3. You want to gamble on the odds that you get being better than traditional books, as well as the event

This. It can be very profitable to use pool betting sites when you are tipping on underdog. I managed to get from 0.06 ETH to a little bit more than 3 ETH one low volume site accepting only ETH (0xgame). Working trough smart contracts without any fees. I managed to get quite high odds for draws or upsets and big number of small bets (0.001-0.05 ETH) paid of in the long run. Problem is that they have almost no volume and very small selection of games. I learned about this one from beginning and there was few situations where you could take a whole pool with 1 cent bet since nobody was betting on the underdog Smiley Good times

Go check this site only if you have high tolerance for quirky behavior. They are legit but just starting and you need to put some effort to use it. Lots of refreshing & sync problems. Metamask is a requirement.

Is there some pool betting site with decent amount of volume? So I can place at least a bet of 10$ without significantly changing the odds. And sorry for a bit off topic post since the title says bitcoin accepting.

OneHash has large volume for some events (someone chucked 0.1 BTC on Madrid to win vs Melilla @ 1.00 odds lmao) I don't believe there are any other sites (maybe some random smart contract?) with high volume.

Thanks. That is exactly the type of bet where I would have put small bets on draw and Melilla wining. I know it is a long shot but when you get odds that are much better when compered to standard bookies it always pays out in the long run.

Edit: Just realized it is today. Now I have to wait until few minutes till the start of the game and place bets if the odds stay the same.

BitDice still hasn't launched their book, and Jetwin is currently in the process of relaunching their "new and better" sportsbook. Should be interesting to see what comes out of that.

In the meantime, Betcoin has significantly improved their margins on European Soccer ML bets with a killer margin of around 1.6% for EPL! If you bet soccer MLs and don't have trust issues with Betcoin, I would certainly make a deposit there.

1xbit is owned by 1xbet which many people have problems with. I cannot in good faith recommend anyone register there. There are lot of complaints on SBR. (1) (2)

It's *probably* fine if you play small and don't win, but you'll likely have issues with high amounts and winning.

I checked and I can see numerous complains about the bookmarker. I have cashout big from them before. all my previous winning is less than 0.1 BTC and my highest cashout has been 0.065 BTC. I will keep eyes crossed about your recommendations. Almost all sportsbooks are having problem with payment in one way or the other but when complain is getting too much then it means the sportbook is not good.

The trouble with odds on bitcoin accepting sportsbooks is that when one of their odds are a bit off it doesn't really make a big difference enough to change places. For example lets say I am wagering on at nitrogensports and I see a sportsbet.io with a better odd, for me to send my money from nitrogen to sportsbet and wager there would cost me more in transaction fee than actual odd difference.

Normally if you could do that with something like eth or even nano that would have been cheap and you could bet wherever you want but it is not that easy with bitcoin unless you wager a big amount. I always try to keep my money in my wallet for that reason and even wager at onehash because sometimes the odds are really bad there but sometimes they are really awesome since they are all wagered amount dependent for it.

that's not the case , I mean yeah if you are just gambling for the fun and have like 0.01 BTC total to gamble then yeah it won't make sense to keep moving the funds between sites
but if you are really serious about betting then you should be ready to bet in all the good sites and you should divide your bankroll among them

in general if you want to use just one site then this thread is a great guide so you can pick the site that suits you the most
personally I recommend joining all the trusted sites and always bet the highest odds

As a counterpoint, if you see Nitrogen has an odd, you can move all of your funds to BitcoinRush to constantly get better odds (or equal in the case of soccer Draws) as long as it's also offered by BitcoinRush. Sportsbet has free withdraws and Nitrogen has free withdraws every week so it wouldn't cost all that much, depending on how much you bet. If you have a very small bankroll, then it's probably not worth it. But if you bet to make a profit, then you should certainly try to compare odds.

It might be an issue with Fairlay and their 0.25 mBTC withdraw fees, but most of the sites with good margins have free withdraws.

Definitely good advice not recommending 1xbit. Not only have they stiffed players but they deal a second line with a much higher margin. I'm not sure if the second line is for sharp action or winnings.

I didn't know about this topic before I selected my sportsbook at the time but bitcoinrush seem to be the best odds in almost any given game. Now I don't doubt darkstar_ is legit and not a puppet for bitcoinrush since he is known to make these kinds of posts all the time and he has always been honest but that leaves the question of why would other casinos not improve looking at this.

I mean if you are a sportsbook and you are listed here and see that bitcoinrush offers the best odds for any sportsbook including yours, wouldn't you want to beat them and lower your odds in order to be the best odd giver in crypto sportsbook world? Would you just say "whatever" and continue with your life? Whats the point of giving higher odds if it means overtime people will leave towards other games? Also darkstar_ , when was the last time you checked the odds because if the odds are still like this, I think I may move to bitcoinrush.

They don't change because people for the most part don't care and will just blindly bet at Nitrogen. I've seen quite a few people on the forum (ie Joca97 and some random Newbie) claim that Nitrogen has the best odds, which is clearly false.

Margins shown here should still be accurate.

I think that your margins are still accurate and very useful. Most of my play is with Nitrogen, Betcoin and Bitcoinrush. There are reasons to play at all three such as limits, withdrawal times, markets both pregame and live. The hold on NFL sides with Nitrogen (2.69%) and Bitcoinrush (2.67%) are almost identical and Betcoin is the best for EPL and other major European soccer.

Those 3 are definitely the best books as far as safety in getting paid and not being hassled with KYC.

Seriously asking for KYC on a gambling website is the stupidest thing anyone can do.

Are these people unaware of their customers so much that they would ask KYC to begin with ?
I mean most of us come from countries where gambling is illegal and that is why we gamble in crypto currency instead of fiat, online gambling is not something I prefer to do but I have to do considering its not allowed in my country, so instead of illegally gamble here, I am going to give all my info to crypto casinos and get caught gambling because I accepted the casinos KYC deal and gave them all my information? Not a chance.

About the similarity on the odds, I think working on 3 different sportsbook is a bit tiring and I usually opt for just one even if they have worse odds in couple games but not all, if it is worse odds on everything than I don't deal with it.

completely agree with the above.
KYC is missing the point completely and makes you wonder... if they misunderstand that so badly.... what hope is there for the rest of their business? Agree also that value hunting every last 0.1% can sometimes play second fiddle to simple time saved by using one sportsbook. sometimes my time is worth more than the extra edge i can get with swapping another sportsbook.
