I feel that the younger generation would be the ideal target group in this aspect since they are the future while the old people will cease to exist later on. If the old people feel that cryptocurrencies are worth adopting, it is a great move on their part.
However, if they don't support cryptocurrencies, I don't think that it is a big loss in any manner whatsoever. The younger generation hold the key to the future of the cryptocurrency market.
They need to be educated about the basics of the technology behind Bitcoin in order to help push it forward.

If older people refuse to adopt to the crypto currencies then it will after the adoption rate and the market cap value because normally older people are the one who holds more wealth of this world so they need to understand what is bitcoin for the better future but teaching about the crypto currencies will be a great initiative for the adoption but when governments are against the decentralization so I doubt that it will be taught.

People around the age of 18 -28 id say techy people they are just more willing to understand change when it is tech related
Yes i would also suggest the above age group. They are the group which comprises college graduates with a disposable income and dont yet have the same amount of expenses as older home owners for example. They are the tech savvy group and are likely to see bitcoin and crypto as something for the future.

I think that the age category does not affect the spread of Bitcoin. If the media presented cryptocurrencies in a positive way, it would accelerate the development and promotion.

I don't think there should be any discrimination. Everyone who's the least bit comfortable with technology can blend in seamlessly. Beliefs are a different issue, but it's completely up to the person if they can be open minded to new ways of doing things. That being said, I suppose it's more common for younger people to tick both boxes.
I still don't think Bitcoin should be "marketed" though, or at least not in a traditional way. There are way too many scams that involve crypto that people are going to be skeptical. The best way to increase adoption is to demonstrate use cases and utility. Basically, spend and be a bit loud about it, and try to avoid discussing profits.

I don't think spreading the bitcoin (cryptocurrency by extension) awareness has anything to do with age specific. Yes, while we could leave out the very old and illiterate group, I think any teenager who is up to the level of grasping elementary implications of holding money should be let in on this. We are in a fast pace era now and it's pointless wasting time.

I think that the reason for the current state of the market is not in marketing. There is no fundamental component for the growth of the market. For many people there is no need to use cryptocurrencies. Bank products fully satisfy the demand for the moment. The market of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies should grow stronger and become more civilized. Then there will be trust.

Marketing targets are very important in trading, knowing the target at a certain age is very required, so as not to misplace the target. But what I know, Bitcoin is already used by parents and young people. I am sure someone who is aged 20 years and over, must have known and used Bitcoin. so it can be said, Bitcoin is suitable for any age. it's just that the emotional aspect can distinguish it. I don't care!

I think age between 20 to 30 years old are the perfect target for bitcoin's market. At this certain age, they are curious and willing to learn about something new, especially if you could earn lots of money from it. Yes, younger people usually reckless but they're an easy learner and catch knowledge easily. They also more open minded than the old people.

If we truly believe Bitcoin is a technology that can change the world, then age should not matter at all. We should spread adoption in areas and countries where it is needed the most. You do not have to focus any marketing on a specific age, if your goal is to bring this technology to the people who need this the most. If you want to make a difference, fund projects where companies like MoneyGram and Western Union are forced out of the market. (They exploited a lot of people by charging astronomical and outrages fees for years.)

I was thinking about Bitcoin marketing and how we can fast track global adoption of Bitcoin and it suddenly came up that we are currently targeting the wrong age group for this.
The different age groups tend to react differently to marketing based on several factors, namely :
1. Older people tend to resist change. 2. Younger people are risk takers and sometimes even a bit reckless. <Because they have lots of time to recover from mistakes> 3. Older people might be more indoctrinated by fiat based theories and habits. 4. Younger people has grown up with the fast paced internet and ever changing innovation of technologies. 5. Older people might have been exposed to several "scams" during their life time and might be a bit more cautious of new things. 6. Younger people might have a bit more time to experiment with new things. <Older people have families and jobs to tend to>
I am only listing some of the factors that might influence certain age groups to react differently to exposure to Bitcoin marketing. What age group would you say, would be the ideal target market for Bitcoin marketing?
I don't think there's any target group when it comes to marketing bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. As long as the person knows how to hold on it well or manage his/her coins well there should be no problem. One must also be aware of scams or any forms of fraud.

Students are broke and can't invest in bitcoin, if they live in a dormitory then they can mine altcoins and convert those to btc. Otherwise a better age group is the mid twenties up to the late forties. They have money and knowledge to invest

If you wanted to market it to investors the best group would be people between 20 and 3 years old who have jobs, but no children yet. Such people like technology and are open to news and trends while at the same time having no children which makes them more willing to take the risk. If you were aiming to grow the community you should also pick younger people, even very young teenagers. They are smart and full of energy. Those are people who bring new ideas to the table and will be the future of this new financial system.

From what i know, bitcoin invested by young people, mostly below 40 years old. Old people mostly believe on stocks or gold or others precious metal. If we want to spread the word about bitcoin, better on young people because they understand about technology

I suppose the ideal target audience for bitcoin are millennials. They are still young but mature enough to make good money and invest them wisely. The generation Z looks not so serious about investing. They are easily distracted by other new startups that appear nowadays every day. The generation X will not have such a deep knowledge of the bitcoin technology and usually are not very often Internet users.

I think those millennials would still be the ideal target group because those age group is not too young and not too old. They are the one who both experience the transition from industrial age to information age so they are used to changes that's why accepting cryptocurrencies would not be that hard because they know that change is something that is inevitable and they can see that there are changes that needs to be accepted because it would be for the better.
