Just a tip from fellow bitcoiner: Avoid giving loans without a collateral and do not trust anyone blindly, hero accounts are being bought and sold from a long time.

Hmm so the terms will depend on the proposal of the borrowers right? Sounds risky so please take caution.

Because of that I suggest that you don't take a deal on PM's. I mean make it public and the borrower must post his proposal here at your thread. Nothing wrong after all and will not violate the privacy because it's good that no transparency will be involved.

Also with the public post, the community can see if something wrong with the proposal or the borrower itself that might help you decide if you are going to lend them or not.

Please think carefully. A loan denominated in BTC is a very dumb idea. You will need to consider what happens if the price of BTC doubles, or falls 50%.  Is this to be paid back in dollars or BTC? Because if the price doubles, the person who has to pay it back might not be able.  There is a lot to go wrong, best of luck.

The first question I would like to ask is, Do you know what you are doing? You have written so much on your belive of the trust system but let me tell you, for the fact you have a clean heart and high moral ground does not mean others would do the same. In the past when I wanted to because of my personal believe, I trusted fully eventually I was scammed. I was so pained because I knew I would't do that to a fellow individual but eventually I realised that I should not judge others based on what I perceived to be the way of life.This has been my guiding principle ever since.

The forum is a faceless one and even restricting it to higher ranked members does not stop certain people who have several accounts that have been built and ready to throw away. They will give you a nice story, write good proposals with one intention in mind and that is to scam you. Just do the right thing by ensuring the basic rule for giving loans on the forum is followed and you will be fine.
