There are roughly ten red flags regarding this challenge. By now I would be very surprised if this wasn't a hoax.

By now it's very likely, that either no solution exists or that the solution requires absurd leaps of logic, so that noone will find it.

I look at the BTC address and there was no balance to it already 310 BTC were sent. I guess someone got it the first.  Can they show us here how they found it?

310 BTC is huge. You're one of those rich guys if you have that about of BTC these days. I can't imagine someone is giving that much. But yes must be richer than anyone else.

Update from Pip
- Oct 14 2018: The website was getting more visitors on a daily basis. Exponentially. The server even had troubles serving all of them. Until the 310 BTC wallet got cracked. Now my daily visitors chart is very very bearish. I mean, very very very bearish. Down over 90%! If I were to chart the amount of emails on a daily basis it will most certainly look very similar. It feels like there is no interest anymore. I'm puzzled the 0.31 BTC wallet is still unsolved and the remaining coins in the 310 BTC wallet are not even moved days later.....

- Oct 14 2018: In the next weeks I will have someone build a new website and I will start one or a couple smaller challenges ( 0.X BTC ). Those I need to set a baseline in order to try and make sure the next challenge will last a little longer while not making it impossible to solved these tihngs within a reasonable time frame. Keep an eye on the website!

Why does it matter to you, what a random internet user thinks? Would you try to convince me of your opinion, if I say yes?

That's what this forum is all about.
Would it not make sense to create, say, 10 wallets 31 BTC worth each? To give someone an extra opportunity? Why is it 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 310?
Yeah, that's strange and off-putting, there could be different sums but not that different.

With the amount of computer science knowledge needed to solve this, I'd personally better work on my own miner to live off devfee. At least, I'd be doing something useful.

I've seen only 0.1BTC solution and it wasn't that hard, I would call it CSI-style puzzle. And remember that's not the first puzzle, there are whole communities dedicated to solving such puzzles, so for them it's even easier.

Is solution for 310 posted somewhere?
I'm curious, but not curious enough to search for it  Grin

I doubt it ever existed. You don't give your money away for nothing, it just doesn't happen.

Finding the techniques in this photo is very difficult. If you can find it, you have to sort it out again. This needs support from AI to accomplish these operations.

OK. Then let's start. I 'still' think, this is some kind of a money laundering scheme. The guy(s) who got the 310BTC can easily say 'I won it' when beeing asked by his gov where the money came from. Maybe lottery/puzzle winnings are free of tax in the country of OP, while trading winnings are taxable for example. Or maybe OP has scammed/stolen money, which has to be turned into legal money.

This is way more possible, than 'a rich guy who wants to give 2 Mio $ to a guy who is at least as smart as himself'

The 1000 BTC GIVEAWAY! From your friend rekcahxfb (ignore the red trust, that's from after the account got hacked) raised similar questions. He also dropped some money on a few users and signed a message to prove ownership of funds.

Thanks for the warning. I overlooked the added "http://". Works now.

OK, it is sad that 310 BTC is taken, but still - maybe I am late for the supper, but maybe just on time for a little dessert Smiley

Congrats to the winner, whoever he or she is!
