Just curious what possible developments would be there in terms of automating vehicles and other devices. It could be something as simple as a household item.

I’m already looking forward to self-driving cars. And I guess just like what everyone is saying here, it would be nice to have automated cleaning services. I think there are robot cleaners already in Japan, right? An activity that’s physically taxing (except for exercise) should be automated in my opinion.

I`m much less enthusiastic about total automation than you are. Do we actually need it? It`s not that we are overburdened with the stuff you mentioned here and can`t cope with all those things without robots.
Having automation just for the sake of novelty? May be, but other than that I believe it`s excessive.

OMG same! I've always been too lazy and too busy to clean my house that I only get to do it once a week. And since it may take a long time before we get an AI for a househelp, I'd take any technology that can do the sweeping and all that without me having to lift it. I would gladly spend a good amount of money for it even!
