Can i repost my old post again

If i have ANN Thread and i post it last week.
Can i make new topic and post the same post again or that will be aganist the rulles.

Here is what the rules say:

12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated).

So, I guess, it would be against the rules.

You can "bump" it.

Just make a comment there and it will be the first topic on the board again and moee people will read.

You can bump only once a day and delete the old bumps.

I don't think you need to make duplicate post. For visibility you can bump thread by commenting something or just write "bump" after every 24 hours. If you need modify something than simply you can edit post. If you need move your thread than you can move it from lower left. So why need make duplicate post ? If you do it than your post will trashed and your account might got ban.

As said, you don't have to create a new thread with the same topic/thread. If you'll create a new one, one of them will be deleted and is likely the old one stays or worst both of them will be deleted. (this depends on the mod)

You don't need to repost old posts. When your post gets heated discussions, the location of the post is always high and everyone can see it!
