At The EPIC Coin we are striving to make it easier for people to buy and sell their crypto for fiat. We have a Peer-to-peer platform where users can buy or sell their crypto for the fiat of their choice. Currently there are close to 50 different fiat options. As for payment methods, we currently have Paypal, bank transfers, Alipay, WeChat App, and Western Union, with more to come. We are wanting this to be as easily done for our users as possible. Transaction fee of 1% upon it being finalized. Currently you can buy and sell Bitcoin and Ethereum, with EPIC being listed next, with others to follow. Once EPIC has been added to the platform users will be able to buy and sell EPIC for fiat, as well as being able to use it to pay the transaction fees. If EPIC is used to pay the fees, it will only be a 0.5% fee instead of 1% per transaction.

One huge benefit to being an EPIC masternode owner is that at the end of each quarter, each owner gets a portion of the fees generated by the platform. 1/2 of the fees generated by the platform will go to maintenance, hosting fees, etc, and the other 1/2 of the fees will be distributed to the masternode owners.

EPIC block rewards have increased from 8 EPIC to 12 EPIC! This increases the reward split to 10.2/1.8 for masternodes and staking!

Everyone will need to resync their wallets. There is a consensus error within PIVX code when it comes to increasing block rewards. Here are the steps everyone should do:

1. Close your EPIC wallet.
2. Open your wallet config filed (named epic.conf in your Epic local folder, this is in %Appdata% on Windows).
3. Insert the following lines into the config:

addnode=45.32.230.63
addnode=45.32.129.61
addnode=149.28.200.19
addnode=66.42.83.120
addnode=108.61.193.88

4. Re-open your wallet and resync it. This can be found in Tools > Information > Wallet repair > Resync

Be sure to resync your masternodes as well. Log into your VPS and follow these instructions:

cd /usr/local/bin
./epic-cli stop

Now we need to add the nodes into our MN config, to be sure it syncs to the right height:

cd
nano .epic/epic.conf

Then paste these into your config at the bottom:

addnode=45.32.230.63
addnode=45.32.129.61
addnode=149.28.200.19
addnode=66.42.83.120
addnode=108.61.193.88

Then save and close. Next, go back to the epic daemon and run it:

cd /usr/local/bin
./epicd -daemon -resync

From there your MN will begin to resync its blockchain. Check that it syncs to the correct height (past block 50,000) by using:

./epic-cli getinfo

If everything is okay, you can then start your masternode again from your local wallet by clicking Start alias. Once this is done, check the masternode status on your VPS:

./epic-cli masternode status
