One reason I could think of is that, It's a scam  When you have a project raising millions of dollars, Pricing their coins at let's say $1 per coin when investors wanna buy them in the event of an ICO and later the price drops down, It was a scam coin, Team and project.

Too much money left crypto this 2018. We don't know when that money will come back and awaken the bull market.
If 2018 is a downward spiral, 2019 might be a long sideways market, hopefully 2020 will be good and these projects, if they are still alive by then, will re-awaken.
