Almost 12 months of Bear Market .Is there any better future a head?

I joined bitcoin trading and investment in 2016 and ever since then things has been moving smoothly . The high surge in Bitcoin price late last year  created lots of attention and drove in different calibres of investors into the market in which majority  of them doesnt really understand how cryptocurrencies works .This eventually created a very huge BUBBLE that burst late last year. The weak hands has left the market and we have begin experiencing organic growth and hopefully there would be another Sunshine .
There is one question that always comes to my my mind which i will like to hear the views of people .

Has it ever occured in the history of Cryptocurrency market since the inception of bitcoin in 2009  to expirience almost 12 month Calendar  bear market ?

12 months bear market is nothing. We have gone through 24 months bear market before. I think, price will recover after 2020 block halving.

Anticipations have been made before now, as to the growth of cryptocurrency. It was said by many that the market would recover from its bearish state, within some said months - which has actually come and gone; the market was analyzed based on past occurrences, which did not still conform. With all of these, i think no one can actually tell what the future holds.

the correction was the recovery not the other way round

its not just th right way to look at a market. its also healthier for your head and emotions

That is only temporary.

In fact, the people who have no patience will regret. Bitcoin faced worse hardships before reaching the level where it is now. When it was really new and the rumors of it disappearing were a lot more convincing for people than it is right now.

I exactly second the thought!! How come we can consider this immense growth as bear market if we look at its year on year growth. I don't remember any other asset class can give such a return in this shorter term!!

Also as you have mentioned in the OP that you have entered this market during 2016, so you must have recorded a huge growth already. Unless you have entered during the bubble at late 2017, there's no way you will see it as a bear market!!

The surge of 2017, has put a lot of expectations in bitcoin. And comparing any market situation with that would make it look like we have made limited progress over the course of the year.
With all issues, with regulations, social media restrictions, bitcoin ETF rejection, we have still had some purple patches. This is the reality of bitcoin we have to get used to. Till we get to the next phase.

Since January, Bitcoins hasn't ever traded above 10,000 USD as it was in December 2017 and to say 12 months bear market is right. Though 5800 is the lowest it could trade but it hasn't been in bullish as expected by majority.

How sure you are that it will not rise again? If go back to the first month of this year it also pump. Its just dump these past few months but I dont lose my hope on it. Because this wasnt new to bitcoin and to other coin. Maybe now it was decreasing it value but soon it will increase again. Be patient if you want to earn or regret it  in the end.

I agree.It's not totally bearish season.We also had experience some price increase but they were not so high compared to december last year.But i still have high hopes that  the market will recover again and a great price increase is waiting for us so let's just keep our faith and patience of course.

Their is actually a high expectations of the market always comparing from last year upto present. With so many issues bitcoin price can come up to high and low. We also experience of increase but not that high as users always looking into the previous all time high, but this does not mean btc price would not increase. I think when we course through the next phase price will increment.

   The statement on the above topic on "12 month of Bear Market". These is a general statement which contradict on the market preview. The ups and down on the price value of one coin as posted on the market does not mean that its a Bear Status. Market is Volatile, it is unpredictable, anything can happen at the trading market during the day.I am optimistic that market will correct itself after the market glitz.

There certainly will be a better future ahead for crypto. It may not be soon, but it will surely happen. Think about the number of big names in the business industry that have adopted or are considering to adopt blockchain into their system. Consider the number of countries that are now eyeing to consider cryptocurrency as legal. Acceptance is slowly making its way. And when more nations and big companies have accepted this system, we will see great changes.

People only compared when they first jump in this crypto thing, and they never know that bitcoin have lower price in past. That is why some people keep complained about bitcoin price.

Crypto is here to stay. Yet, every market goes through cycles. That is simply the laws of nature and economics. A bull market will come again, the question is simply when.
