Hello I didn't know anything about trading until I first started trading monero on poloniex when it was like $5. Now I've learned a lot just from trading and mining crypto but my only experience is with crypto.
So I guess this is backwards but now I would like to try trading or investing outside of crypto....is that stocks?...see I have no clue what everything is called. Are there trading sites like bittrex etc?
what is the differences between a crypto exchange and a "stock exchange" that trades in dollars? Do you have to provide ID? Are they easier to fund in dollars?
Is there anything like a Trade Satoshi where I can just practice with small amounts?
Thanks for any information

Thats really generalised question and it could take up few pages to answer everything in detail however I will respond in bullets. First of all crypto exchanges and stocks exchange are really two different sides of the coin. Stock exchanges are contained of different commodities, which are based on the real world usage of them and thus there prices are very much controlled under the government powers. They decide the prices based on the trades that are going on within the country, national and international trades and much more.
While on the other hand crypto currency exchanges which are made up of different digital assets (currency really) is part of virtual world where people are putting their own money willingly in it. This is based on the decentralised model and thus everything runs on the public ledgers. Know that crypto coins get their prices solely from the public fundings, and how they are buying and selling them and nothing else. There is no influencing body and nothing else can derive the prices.
Stocks for sure you will need your verified accounts, KYC and stuff and everything is traceable.
Crypto you may or may not need your ID's provided to start with the trades.
If you want to get feel for the crypto trading then visit HitBTC demo trading platform. However dont use the HitBTC for real trades.

In my opinion the fundamental and technical analysis between stocks and crypto is more or less the same.
Basically crypto is more volatile than a stock, but more or less it still follows trends, and patterns such as moving average, fibonacci, support, resistance, supply, demand, etc.
However they are very different in other ways.
Stocks don't trade 24 hours like Crypto, stock market opens at 930AM EST and closes at 2PM EST. Usually the pre and after market have very little liquidity unless its some earnings report.
Stocks you only have max 3.333x leverage and there are rules if you want to day trade or not. Crypto doesn't have these restrictions.
Stocks you need a regulated broker and you need to prove your identify and link your bank account. You can't just send them cash like you would with a Bitcoin ATM.

NEVER TRADE ON HITBTC FOR REAL TRADES.
Now the regulations in place differ widely for the country of your stock trades. Also there are multiple instruments to check. Better read up on the published materials of the securities regulator in your nation.

There are crypto trading and fiat trading, fiat trading are stocks, etf, binary option, cfd, forex and other, the difference between crypto and fiat trading is the factors that drive the price go up and down, in fiat trading we need to consider the economic, politic and other things, and in fiat you need to provide all documents, and you are bound by regulation

Trading in the stock market is less risky compared to trading Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I don't thnk that you can profit on day trading in stocks compared to crypto because the stock market is less volatile and doesn't move as crypto market does. Most of the stock investments are for long term. It is ok to diversify your capital in stock market but I don't think that day trading is profitable there.

I think stock exchange have regulation, it is what not crypto have. In my country, stock or securities trading have some regulation, and capital to do it is fixed by that, in my country minimal of $10000 is needed to join legal stock and securities exchange.

mid and longterm stock will follow the fundamentals, that's the big diference. In crypto there are actualy no fundamentals; if you hold it you are just betting that people will continue to buy. In stocks you check the fundamentals of the company. If the company continues to grow the stock WILL GROW. So if the structure and the "gameplan" of the company is good, it is much, much less of a bet.

I've not really traded outside of Cryptocurrencies. But it's something I'm really looking forward to getting involved in. I got in talks with a friend about trading in other markets like forex. According to what I got from him, He said the trading patterns are quite similar with just minor differences here and there. I might get on the train soon.

These are the two different types of trading, as replied above stock market is all based on real world commodities. In earlier years i have been in stock trading, it has low risks but also lower profits while in crypto trading you have 50% risk but also higher profits

If you really want to trade outside of crypto then you should be training yourself how to be patient since you can't have pumps there over night and would make you wait for years.

Actualy there is an small similarity of crypto investment trading into stock investment trading when we comparing the way or process of trading, because doing an stock exchange is putting some capital or fiat on thats stock to buy that you want to invest and like the crypto also its affected the happen in the exchange market, because there also market in stock exchange that if those product of thats you invest would pump then you can gain a good profit and vice versa will happen if the stock would dump, and same also crypto you can sell your stock if you quits into this kind of investment.

Yes, mutual funds and stocks can be traded just like cryptocurrencies, though it has stricter regulations and a lot of prerequisites before you can trade them. The stock market is subject to a lot of laws and regulations concerning fraud, money laundering and manipulation, so some of the concepts you knew in trading cryptocurrencies (like pump and dumps) don't and won't apply in there. It's also relatively safer and easier to do compared to trading in crypto as the changes in price isn't really that big and volatility is not that aggressive.

Firstly, cryptocurrency more volatile, so price can increase by 500% within 1 hour unlike stock market. The fact that cryptocurrency is decentralized causes the price to be more volatile. But the stock market can be managed and you can not make a huge profit like cryptocurrency.

This link would give you an idea between two things. https://hackernoon.com/crypto-trading-vs-stock-trading-three-main-differences-851c1fdf082bThese things are just similar on general yet it do involves buy and sell but the only thing that they do differ is on price volatility and Centralized things vs Decentralized. Exchangers = Crypto either Dex/Centralized --- On stocks then you would called them as Brokers which is heavily regulated.

But the stock market can be managed and you can not make a huge profit like cryptocurrency.
And you can make sure high profit in forex trading too. Forex trade is a fiat digital trade, regulated by government, meaning documents are provided, verified by the broker through the internet. Is also a high profit market and with high risk.

Stock market is not a simple technique because most of the investors are starting to share market it is the basic foundation of the stock exchange. If you gain some knowledge in share market it is really helpful your future stock market and finally before to start any plan you will ask some expert suggestions but you also trying to improve some skills it will help for your future journey.

I did not see as a backward as stocks market is still very highly profitable. I sometimes go back to forex market and do contact my brokers to see if there are opportunities for investing. Cryptocurrencies market is very risky for day trading and you have to be extremely skillful to succeed in it.

There are lots of instruments to trade. The main categories are stocks, options, futures, forex, bonds and commodities. Stay away from binary options.....they're a hustle. These markets tend to be less volatile than BTC. That's why people use high leverage or trade leveraged ETFs. Outside of cryptocurrency, I only trade stocks and commodities, and I only do so on higher time frames (like the 1-day chart) since there's so much noise the more you zoom in. You can practice trading on demo accounts on platforms like Oanda and AvaTrade. I trade "real" markets using Interactive Brokers. To trade real money, you generally will need to provide ID. The exception is CFD brokers like SimpleFX (deposit and withdraw with crypto), but I would advise against these sites after 1Broker was recently shut down.
