Happy 10th anniversary day of Bitcoin. It was really unbelievable 10 years with huge success of Bitcoin. Within last 10 years we've seen lot of useful things happen by Bitcoin and I think in the future Bitcoin will become more stronger.

Satoshi indeed orchestrated a unique technology and I'm glad everyone here still is around. I mean, Bitcoin has been through a lot but in all sone people stood steadfast for this great innovation. Many people have tried to kill it but they couldn't. The technology still lives on ad i believe the next run will be a great hit for us all.

And it's coming up to my five year anniversary of being on this forum. My only regret is that I never joined it five years earlier hehe. Pretty crazy how far bitcoin has come along. I wonder if bitcoin will survive another ten or written off as a fad at some point. I'm always worried that bitcoin will trail off in popularity and become unprofitable to mine or be usurped by something else and all those calling it some sort of ponzi will feel pretty smug and self-righteous. I hope they're always wrong, though.

The whole idea was put together in 2008 but it wasn't mineable until 2009.  I wonder if Satoshi really thought bitcoin would reach the high values we have today or if it was just a side experiment for fun.  I would of been all over bitcoin if I heard about it back in those days but I suppose it's just bad luck.  You would of had to known the right people or come across the newsletter somehow.

I think bitcoin was always an experiment. It could have failed on launch or crashed and burned, but it hasn't so far. I think in one of satoshi's posts on the forum that I remember reading he said something like he either expects bitcoin to be used by a very large amount of people or none at all -- though I'm grossly paraphrasing from hazy memory there. I'm not sure if he ever mentioned the actual value but that was probably of little concern to him at the time.

Yes this was a happiest moment for all of the Bitcoin uses because it crosses over 10 years it is very a good thing for cryptocurrencies but the value or not as good as the previous year but we cannot decide with this situation we can wait for some time to watch what happened next it is the right way to get into the cryptocurrency world and the value also definitely increase soon.

Yeah, no headache for banks and top 5 largest currencies but is barely really used by anyone other than store of value, really different from what the hardcore users 10 years ago expected for.

Besides that what hacker attacks? Can't remember any of them. The only problems with code that there were is asic boost which was being abused at some point, but again it wasn't a hacker attack and the recent inflation bug which was fixed before anyone abused it.

You are right. Today marks ten years ever since bitcoin was invented as a digital medium of making payments which has now taken a whole new trend with potential of the blockchain technology which can also be used for other purpose. But i must say over these ten years bitcoin has undergone several criticisms but yet still very strong in terms of its mission. We hope another ten years to come would be a success story to crown the vision of Satoshi Nakamoto whereby bitcoin would be fully accepted and used for making transactions in the world. even though I was late in knowing bitcoin, and I had lost many golden opportunities, but I was always proud, because it had become part of technological innovation.
