If you had to HODL only 1 cryptocurrency for 10 years how should you choose?

I would hold bitcoin. I know its old technology and slow. But you know it is the first and its the king. And people will remember it when the heard crypto. So of course Bitcoin..

if i only have to choose 1 cryptocurrency, ill go with bitcoin. without a doubt, as a cryptocurrency pioneer to date, bitcoin is still the top choice. coin with the highest price status, relatively very far compared to its competitors, bitcoin has a pretty good future. besides, bitcoin is able to influence other alt coin prices, this is one of the considerations, if we are optimistic that the crypto industry will advance in the future, it means we also agree that the price of bitcoin will continue to rise, this is absolute.

This is no brainer, this is BTC.
I agree, there are ton of interesting and cool alts ot there with good potential . But in this time frame , they will chnage a lot, i think most of them will have forks or token swaps or even blockchain change thus it would be very risky to hold them for 10 years.
BTC on other hand is simple and has proven that it works and will be around 10 years form now.

I don't see myself holding only one digital currency for 10 years but if that happened I will chose bitcoin since it is the start of everything no one can compare bitcoin and it will still be the best crypto in the world .

You pretty much answered it by yourself only. Its only the BTC which will survive at the end because of many reasons that we already know, the only thing is its just not yet been explored. It may happen that in the later time we will not need other shitcoins at all and thus they will go down in the investment as well as people will stop using them too. It will be very costly affair to invest in them over the course of period and hence I would say its just the BTC alone where they will focus so that they will not need to invest rubbish on the alts.
It could also happen that only selective Top 50 or so coins will remain out there just to have liquidity in the market and trading pairs which will compete the BTC market as well.

I would say Bitcoin too, and also Ethereum. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and the most influential coin in the space which makes it a choice for many. It is still being develop with new features and that it will be something huge after 10 years. I Chose Ethereum because it is the one of the most strongest coin up to date. Tokens depend on it and its technology has potential to grow in 10 years.

I would choose Ethereum. Now Bitcoin is the king but who knows what will it be in ten years. Ethereum is constantly evolving, a lot of upcomings scheduled to the 2019, as for me ETH is more progressive crypto than BTC

Of course I will choose bitcoin , no matter what happen I will stick on bitcoin. 10 years is a very long time but why not? As long as you know that its worth it. Holding for 10 years is kinda awkward because you know if that happens most of us leave.

If it is going to be only crypto currency, then it will be bitcoin. Bitcoin is the first crypto currency invented. It is recognized more than any other crypto currencies out there. It is here to stay unlike other alt coins that might fail and be replaced. It is widely acceptable than any other coins. It is currently dominating the market and as time goes by more people will start adopting it. Thus, after another decade the demand for it will end up being more than any other currencies.

But i will not choose BTC if i will aim for more profit.

Although I`d prefer not to hold any coin to be able to react to the market condition, in this case I`ll choose to hold Bitcoin.

This is a simple question, I think. I believe there is no point in holding something other than bitcoin. 90% of altcoins will die within the next 5 years. You will lose money if you hold something other than bitcoin. But I would also keep XYO on my wallet. Good choice.

I will choose Bitcoin,Ethereum or Dash for my long term holding. Cause I know this three will survived that long. This top coins will never upset you if you hold it that long. I wil stay hodl this coin cause I know it will never die unless we all abandoned this coins.
