I want to share some graphs that show the efficiency of the APW3, APW3++, and APW7 at 230V as well as the APW3++ at 115V. The APW7 also works at 115V with 1000W rated max output but I wasn't able to find any detailed efficiency info at the time. All info is sourced from Bitmain and roughly verified by testing the PSUs.

i measured from the wall values with smart meter and there was almost no difference between APW3++ and APW7 regarding efficiency. in this case the power draw.. maybe 1-2 watts. so nothing. only apw7 was performing better at high ambient temps where apw3++ shuts off quite fast

Is it me or the values of the apw3 don't add up in tje two graphs? E.g. at 100A, they have different values
Or what did i miss?

Top graph is at 230v, bottom one is at 110v which is why there are differences...

Yep, the efficiency is voltage related.

Yeah

the Apw3+ can not run an s9 on 120 volts
the Apw3+ can run an s9 on 240 volts

The Apw3+ can run an L3+ on 120 volts or 240 volts.

With the recent firmware updates, the APW3++ A3-1600 can easily handle an S9 on 110v as the power consumption has dropped to around 1250w still not as clean or efficient as running at 220v.

That is of course unless you are overclocking.
