Good or Bad?

One friend introduced me to Good and Bad balance. According to this theory or 'view of life', in the world there must be equal amount of good as bad things happening. The problem is that Good weights more than Bad since it's easier to do bad things.
Imagine it like that: 1KG of feathers (these are bad things) are put on a balance with 1KG of metal balls (these are good things and heavier). The number of feathers needs to be higher than the number of metal balls to make the balance being equal.

I think that we must try to do good things and if we fail and end up doing bad things, just don't blame yourself. You contributed to the other side of the balance.
That's why some entrepreneurs are the good guys (Elon Musk, Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, etc.) and others are bad guys (Jordan Belfort [the actual 'wofl of wallstreet' who created the penny-stock scam], Brian Kim [created a ponzi scheme], and many more).

Even the good guys did some bad stuff. Steve Jobs pushed low paid wages to his employees, Richard Branson was jailed for tax evasion in 1971 and currently he doesn't own a British citizenship for tax purposes, Elon Musk... Elon Musk is the type of guy who would put by accident the AI in his toaster.

^_^ Theres something called "law of ekvivalent exchange", who the old times great arab sientists though. Back then it was called alchemy where they though matter could not by exchanged if its not by the same sizing.

Who exactly defines what`s good and bad? It all depends on the situation, the same action could be considered either good or bad depending on the context.

It reminds me of the trolley problem! For those who don't know, the trolley problem is as following: the train comes and it can go straightforward, killing 5 people or you can make it turn left, killing 1 person. In both cases you're going to be emotionally devastated.

Interesting however how do you apply this law to the context I mentioned? I can think of the equivalent exchange in other scenarios where you can sacrifice time for salary or similar things

agree with you to determine good or bad, there will certainly be many differences that occur, except that actions that can only be seen as good or bad can be difficult for others.

Strange theory that I don`t really like tbh. It pushes us towards being ok with bad things and make them less important.

I always believe in what comes around goes around. So, I choose to be good all the time.

Nobody can tell if it's good or bad. But always consider others not only yourself when you do something.
