Bitcoin's benchmark now is still very dependent on fiat, I think it will take a long time for bitcoin to really be able to leave fiat
Bitcoin still very dependent on fiat due to thinking of society, when thinking of fiat change, bitcoin will be win.

It is true that the bitcoin has been gaining more and more space in the public debate, and apparently the conditions are given for a greater flexibility of the financial authorities of many countries to facilitate its use, however I believe that we are very, very far from that bitcoin really threatens to displace the use of fiat money in our daily transactions. Even in the most optimistic of my forecasts, I do not believe that bitcoin will represent 30% of the daily volume of economic transactions in the world, but I hope I am wrong and that the future will show me my error.

though the article sound interesting and looks good for bitcoin to be more brighter than as before , the USD is global currency recognized as a means of foreign exchange . all most all the countries of the world uses the USD for transaction , if USD is eliminate from bitcoin trading exchanges the US will fight against cryptocurrency and because they control the economic power of the world they will crash down cryptocurrency. l just believe there are better alternative measure  for pairs trading

This is really a good move. Whichever way it is perceived, I see it taking bitcoin, usage and adoption to the next level. As we preach against fiat, we should also walk against it. This is why I like this article.

Although so many coins have been created and people are now getting to know that cryptocurrencies have a great future but I dont think it can push fiat and USD completely out of the system.

These two entities have been in the system for long and I don't think it can be sacked or replaced by cryptocurrencies just like that. We have people who will still use fiat or USD even if crypto is completely accepted in the whole world.

Yes.Of course it cannot be denied. It's really hard to replace fiat currencies since many people are already attached to it.But with the new technology cryptocurrency bring,i'm sure a lot of people also will be interested in studying and definitely use it in money transactions.

Yes I agree, I think it is a long way before that happens or the crypto currency will take over Fiat and USD in a sense that it is not that regulated yet and some other countries are not accepting crypto currency as of now. Maybe we should wait for it to happen.

I read the local news, and there is several articles that made me interesting, a few weeks ago, the mobile version of the Bitcoin wallet bitcoin platform decided to eliminate the conversion of bitcoin currencies with USD. then replaced with Satoshi.

the decision was taken to eliminate dependence on fiat currency. because bitcoin capability if converted to fiat, will interfere.

developer samourai wallet says "farewall fiat" or "goodbye fiat".
If this will be implemented then we will have a cashless society where we can buy and do shopping by just capturing the qr code so we can get paid, it seems more interesting in this virtual currency and many economy would go down specially US because they didn't want bitcoin and they didn't adopt it and may regulations on their country.

Bitcoin and Altcoins cannot possibly replace USD or other fiat currencies. Fiat currency is a symbol of the state, not easily replaced by cryptocurrencies, maybe all fiat currencies are now changed to crypto, but fiat currencies will still be there and run the same as cryptocurrencies.

In the future, the development of users crypto currency will probably continue to grow. But, to shift the fiat currency I think it's not as easy as reversing the palm of the hand, there are many reasons that can block the process of this revolution, some of them are: the government will insist on maintaining its products, namely the money and the bank. Fiat currencies will continue to be used by the wider community, because the currency is more malleable and easy to use by anyone.

I think this wont going to happen. Fiat and USD are still powerful than bitcoin. They are more acceptable by all people unlike bitcoin that there are still some people who are against on it. It can easily replaced fiat and USD because it was supported by the law and the government. Maybe bitcoin has more high value than the two but that doesn't mean it bitcoin is now the no. Currency in the world.

Even with wider adoption there will still be the need to relate the value of Cryptocurrency in terms of fiat. It makes it easier to relate with. It is easier to quote the price of a cup of coffee as 5$ rather than say 0.0009 bitcoins

That's a good point, every one of us would have to carry a cryptoconverter or similar application just to buy stuff and there will be a lot of changes every hour because crypto price is very volatile he don't even know if you continue to buy if he find out the price of coffee in Bitcoin has just doubled.

I know that bitcoin and fiat money have their own advantages in place, bitcoin is very powerful in the digital world and fiat money is very strong in the real world. with that difference, I am sure no one will shift to each other.

for some reason I feel this post is funny, I guess what you say isn't necessarily happening, even if it happens it will probably take more than a decade. we will never know
the fact is that up to now we still use paper currency and the main thing you are joining here is most of the time to get lucky and then exchanged for fiat money.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I think it is still too early to say goodbye to FIAT, because only a few businesses accept crypto now. Most people don't even have information about crypto, how to get involved and where and from who to buy them. some people don't even have access to internet nor have they seen a computer or smart phone. we need more years to start saying goodbye to FIAT.

I wonder if this was done by large request, or if the developer just gets tired of seeing the fluctuations in his bitcoin value.
