BTG Speculation

I once heard the predictor say that at the end of 2019 the price of BTG would be $ 1107. The estimated price of Bitcoin Gold is that by the end of 2020 it will be $ 10799.7 per BTG. And this shows that BTG is a good investment tool. What is your opinion about BTG for 2018?

everyone has their own predictions, but for now it's still too early to conclude what people say, BTG has almost no meaningful movement, but everything can happen in just an instant, but for BTG there is still no year good predictions, may still be bearish until 2020, and BTG predictions to 1k usd, maybe but not now

BTG will never reach those price targets that you mention, there's a higher a chance of Bitcoin Gold dissapearing from the market in the long-term than reaching 1k. Such a spike in the price would mean that there's a high demand of this coin, and that's never been the case so I doubt that would chance in the future. Anyone investing in this coin is taking big risk, there are way better options in the market than a bitcoin fork.

The predictions for the price of BTG won't happen. It is like other forks of Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash has still a big value, because Bitmain has a lot of ressources. But other forks don't have so much money to put into their coin. It is better to invest in coin with real product/service. Or invest into Bitcoin.

Whatever they say. I'm not an investor of BTG but considering that it may rise in year end, BTC shall also rise. Would you rather invest on BTC or BTG?
This is just a question but if you stick to BT then that is good, you might have seen something that we didn't see on this coin. BTC is one of the primary coin that had been adopted by users, stick to the one where people prefer.

I am confused as to why many people like coins from hard forks, but I lost my mind after BTG had a problem with Bittrex and I think BTG is not worthy of being an investment choice.

I am never sure if BTG will go up much as you said in 2020, BTG can penetrate 2k dollars already pretty good, considering the current price is only 27.54 dollars and it is not impossible to drop far from the current price.

Any references or source of that speculation? Is there a big bang to be happened on BTG that could pump the price over $1000? I dont see that happening. Ever since it went down the price below $50, i might say that most of its investors losses their hope already and sold most of their holdings. I also dont heard any active advertisement to that platform so that source of yours was just a bluffed.

Where have you heard those predictions? the sad part of it is that some exchanges are delisting it for having such trouble with their wallets and that's probably the reason why its getting kicked.

Think of it if many people would like to stay with that coin.

I will advice anyone reading this to do the opposite of what he is suggesting, this coin won't amount to anything in coming months, the futute is very bleak, no strong team behind the project, centralised and the developer could dump and exit, exchanges are delisting it, if a project like BTG is being delisted on Bittrex and Synereo is still there, that speaks volume IMO

well that "predictor" was an idiot spreading bullshit about a coin that he was bag holding and wished to see it pumped more at the time so that he could dump it and get more money out of his bag. otherwise a copy coin that was forked from bitcoin such as bitcoin-gold has no future in the long run. some people speculated that because of the way its mining works it can attract attention and get pumped but that was never the case as people didn't go for it.

I have met many who want to buy BTG. But personally I treat him as a scam. No one needs a project. Normal speculative fork. But growth can be.

BTG is just another shitcoin, it gets so fucking dump more than 90% from its ATH
many people wont believe anymore with this one, so we really dont recommend buying it

As I had some satoshis at the time of the fork I'm the proud owner of BTG. I don't give a * on it, but it's not a bad thing to have it in my portfolio just in case, you know, the crypto market goes crazily bullish.

If I didn't have any I don't think I would buy BTG; I think I would prefer to invest in some other good alts like Tezos or Icon, or in the BTC and ETH themselves. Anyway, I don't think a little bit of BTG just for gambling purpose will hurt
