Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not?

Bitcoin soon after its introduction in 2008 became the only decentralized, transparent, fast and non-repudiable protocol. Bitcoin in no time underwent a significant growth by provoking a certain kind of hysteria in the investors and speculators to earn great profits. As the popularity of cryptocurrency rises, many countries like China started imposing strict restrictions in September, 2017 by calling it a ‘fraudulent practice’. Social media platforms like facebook, twitter and Google joined hands and banned all types of cryptocurrency ads. Since then, the value of bitcoin fell by large margins. As a result, many lost their confidence and interest in the market.

But by far, Bitcoin has lived in a “space of unknown” to the general public with less crypto-educated people. Once that changes, bitcoin will once again see the paradigm shift to find its stable place in the market.

The question of whether bitcoin will ever hit 20k again has turned around the minds of all sleepless investors who entered the market of cryptocurrency in 2017.

I believe that Bitcoin has a lot of potential in surpassing the past records if the concept of cryptocurrencies reaches its true potential and is adopted worldwide.

$20,000? It would surely reach that price again in my opinion. It's just a matter of when.

As much as I don't want a economic crisis to happen, I think an economic crisis is what would bring the prices up significantly. Especially for 3rd world countries, chances are, people would be looking for a sort of 'hedge' against their local fiat money(pretty much like what happened to Venezuela); and I think gold and silver would be quite unlikely to be their choices. While precious metals are more stable in price, they're really isn't easy to transact with. Not to mention they could be faked.

P.S. Take my opinion lightly. Not an economic expert or anything. I definitely could be wrong.

Because bitcoin has a really unique feature that other payment system don't have.

This may happen and may not. This greatly depends on how the world will interact and adapt to bitcoin and how bitcoin will develop to be user-friendly over time.

People are scared of a thing if they do not know it, they consider it risky, so I think user-friendliness will the key.

Basically all bitcoin holders will definitely think so. hope that bitcoin prices will be more expensive than $ 20k, even though currently it is still at a price of around $ 6500. I only expect more than $ 15k, that's more than enough for me personally..!

i think it just a matter of time, because at the end of the day bitcoin will be recovery again soon. And there's still a possibility of bitcoin to reach 20k again.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have not even entered their glory days yet. Question being, whether they ever will.

The longer Bitcoin survives and evolves, the further it cements its place in the world. Everything else is just a matter of time, especially with the ecosystem being as strong as ever. Even the alt coin market should evolve beyond its bullshit phase eventually. As such I'm fairly confident that the best ist yet to come.

It will reach that mark again, not just as fast as everyone expected. I honestly think the next big increase in prices, let's call it a bull run, when the btc price will test the last ATH again will come when adoption goes mainstream. It'll be the fuel to make the prices skyrocket, there will be a lot of hype and demand for it and before we know it, we'll be above the 20k mark.

But as of now, it seems vert unlikely that we'll test 20k again, it would take a lot of hype and fomo from the general public to reach that price, but there's nothing that could trigger those two points in the short-term.

will it ever see 20K again? For sure. I'm confident that by 2022 (around the next halving) we'll see 20K again. Cryptocurrency is still far from its full potential in my opinion. Well I know 2022 feels like a long time but I'd rather have a slow, steady rise than major pump like we had in 2013 and 2017. Such moon rides always followed by huge drop, which could be disastrous for newbies.

Cryptocurrencies can still hit a new peak in the future because of how volatile it is and the market is currently small when compared to the others that are in the trillions.

For Bitcoin you already answered your own question. The price always improve every year that's why i'm also confident that Bitcoin can reach $20k again it could be next year or the next halving who knows. Only a hater would say it won't go $20k.

I always think positive that it will but the right time is yet to come. There are a lot of issues on btc that need to be addressed one at a time and I  know that all will be resolved and the 20k ATH will  be achieved once again.

These predictions doesn't mean crap. "It is believed that bitcoin gets to a new high every 4 years". That's a very inaccurate benchmark. Bitcoin is only what? 10 years old? So you only have 2 instances there.

There are no reason why Bitcoin will not be able to beat $20 000 or even $50 000 for that matter, we just need some event

that would catapult it to those price levels. A possible event might be the approval of Bitcoin Futures or possibly Amazon

allowing people to pay with bitcoins on their platform. The problem is, who is asking for this and are there enough people

asking for this.
