Maybe this topic doesn't belong to this section, but I couldn't find any other section that would be more suitable. Pretty much every ICO has an ANN thread on bitcointalk. Lots of them have dozens of pages with discussions! I thought it just naturally works this way, because many bitcointalk users are interested in new ICOs, so they visit the pages and leave some comments. As paying people to bump the thread is against the forum rules, how do ICOs get so much feedback? Is it because of their other activities on other platforms, or am I missing something here?
Perhaps some representatives of very active ICOs could provide some advice on this matter in this thread.
Thanks in advance!

It's really depends on how interested your project. It's true that most of ICO's has been using paid bumping. But we can't blame all, because few ANN thread I have seen with constructive discussion. There is no way to encourage people's for discussion on your thread if not encourage by your project and concept. Main problem is most of ICO are now using same concept. That's why people's aren't encourage for invest than how they will encourage for discussion on thread. Paid bumping is against of rules. If you caught than your thread will trash and your account will ban. So don't try it. But you can bump your thread after every 24 hours. Don't bump before 24 hours and delete your old bump before new bump.

Perhaps your thread gone too down, that's why it is invisible. So how people's will ask question or discusse? If I am not wrong this is your thread,  and you made thread 5 days before.  It's look very low respons. But don't try to use paid bump.

Yeah, that is the thread and people seem to be very quiet there. I am aware of the 24 hours bump, thanks. I understand that payed bumping is against the rules. I'll try to attract people in other ways, thanks!

because many bitcointalk users are interested in new ICOs

Let me correct you, the users of Bitcointalk are fed up with ICOs. I won't be wrong if I say that only third world bounty spammers are interested in such projects.

Most of the content on these topics is absolutely meaningless/rubbish and cannot and should not be taken as feedback.

There are successful ICOs that never had an announcement thread on this forum, and I can say that the majority of the forum users here are not investors, they could be miners, program developers, faucet users, gamblers, service providers, or bounty hunters. The only thing we're sure of is the number of active users.

If no one is posting on your ICO thread, instead of posting the word "bump", just keep on posting events or blockchain summits that your team have attended.

Normally, if given a choice to do something and nothing, I choose to do nothing.
But I will do something if it helps someone else to do nothing.
I'd work all night if it meant nothing got done.

Sadly, this forum has become a place for people to hunt tokens and fill their pockets, and never care about the project itself. It is very rare to find a genuine user who is actually interested in the project and the concept behind it. This fact has made it very difficult for legit and good looking projects to find some good and real members for their project instead of these whole bunches of bounty hunters who would only come to your ANN thread to ask whether they are going to get paid for the campaigns very soon or not.
You will only get some activity on your ANN if you start a bounty campaign, after which, every single shitposting participant of that campaign would head towards your ANN and post something like "I wish this project is success." or "Good looking project. I wish it success.". It is not me who doesn't know how to write those sentences correctly, but it is them who write like that, and I was just copying that.

Yes, I understand. A friend of mine has been on this forum for years and he said that he never visits the announcements sections on bitcointalk. You're probably right that feedback there is worthless. I also have a feeling, that people do violate the rules and hype their threads for money...

I didn't post bumps yet and I will follow your advice about posting some quality content about the events ND INVEST hosts and takes part in. It's nice to hear that an ICO can be successful even without an ANN thread.

It's a shame this is the case. I thought this forum is full of various crypto enthusiasts and there will be people leaving constructive feedback in the thread. I'll try to improve the content, of course, but I am not sure it will help.

Nice idea, thanks! I'll try to make simple explanations of our project in the thread.
