Looking to buy a rig or 2 very soon. Seeing a lot of resellers. Im looking to invest 4-6k in a miner. For obvious reasons, Im very nervous to give my money to some company in China. Ive contacted several of them, and they all seem to be very helpful. So, that doesn't answer my question. Ive asked questions about types of PSUs, trump tariffs, shipping speed, etc, and they all have "the right answer..." The least eager of the companies I contacted are the manufacturers of the miners.

I've googled, and this seems to be the most helpful community for this question. I can not seem to find another good source for this question.

Has anyone dealt with any of these companies?
Crypto Drilling
Miner Bros
Mining Store 5111
Coin Mining Central

Any others that I didn't list that people have dealt with?

I own www.Bittawmart.com and can get just about any hardware you want.

Proven track record and I have done many group buys where I held community funds.

the whatsminer DCR is the hot miner at the moment but delivery is not until the end of the year (dec)

Good to know. Was thinking about that one, but don't want to wait for various reasons. I was eyeing 2 other miners, but I don't want to put those out there so the thread doesn't get side tracked.

Blokforge is one site I know of that is legit- they are an official reseller for Canaan Avalon miners and also resell other gear, and IIRC they ship from the US, so you won't have to deal with tariffs and such. Their shipping, at least in the US, is well-priced (about $25 for an Avalon 841 to me), and most of their gear is reasonably priced as well. Seems like they've been adding gear to their shop in the past few months too, I haven't checked in to the site in a while but it looks like they have been adding other gear for sale on their store recently.

I don't recommend ASIC at all, here is why this is a must read https://1stminingrig.com/asic-vs-gpu-mining-profitability-in-bear-markets/
