Maybe they know that Gavin told this reporter who Satoshi is?
I can tell you that is NOT what happened.
Gavin talked to her, and said nothing new, but just regretted even giving her already known facts about S.N. maybe making her job easier.
One would think that if Gavin could take the time to talk to the reporter about Satoshi (which I personally don't see as a big deal), then he could follow up on the thread he started on this forum about the visit to the CFR that he was planning.
I, as a Bitcoin holder, would simply like to know if he had no off-the-record conversations at the event, or if he did have some that he does not wish to share with the community. That the community is not even important enough to warrant a brief follow-up on his thread here speaks volumes about his attitude.
