We're working on a chatbot that provides a walkthrough of how to create a MEW wallet, download Metamask, and other essentials so that anyone can use our airdrops platform.
Of course, you can't collect airdrops with an empty wallet.
Recommending MEW and Metamask seem like no-brainers.
What should we recommend to absolute beginners when it comes purchasing Eth?
Coinbase seems like the safest choice, but the need for bank numbers or a photo ID could dissuade someone who has never received a token before.
On the other hand, nearly everything out there is a scam.
What method/exchange/company would you suggest to make the ethereum buying process as easy as possible while minimizing the risk of scams?
It seems all exchange sites requires KYC verification and AML procedures before you can buy cryptocurrency like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
However, if you still want to buy ETH you can try to check on localbitcoins you are lucky if you find traders in your area where you can buy ethereum without KYC and AML procedures.
Of course, you can't collect airdrops with an empty wallet.
Since when was this true? Isn't the main point of 'airdrops' is that you give the tokens for free in exchange for some Facebook likes and such?
I never heard that you need a balance before being able to receive "airdrops". In my experienced, I received airdrops without balance but you can't send it without a balance because you have to pay the transaction fee to transfer your token to other wallet or exchange site.
