https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_container_ships

aint even on that last.

We should build a bigger boat, double the size of the largest one. Make it run off a nuclear engine.

Good public works program to build the boat(s), and can help offset some emissions once they're built.

You notice those are all tax havens right? Last I checked Liberia is not outperforming the US. There is a reason they are flying those flags, it is not for patriotism.

Maybe we should build a WALLBOAT on the Mexican border, just one long twisted boat that sits across the Rio Grande River. There will be so much boat you'll get tired of all the boat we have!

Difficult to make bigger than OOCL. It's not that they don't want, it's because they don't know how to. It gives bigger engineering problems. since it's a real challenge to build. This kind of boat is for long distances, the boat will not cross the Panama or the Suez Canal. The road that almost all long distances follow...

I guess he meant build huge boats and make free economical zones on them. Waterworld and all that. Dunno, i think it's just not profitable to the big countries, there was precedents already, and no one acknowledged those free-states on islands. Not sure if this will be different with "boat-states".

Usually those big ships are built in countries with cheap labor. Fly a flag of a tax haven and are owned by anonymous private trust of the wealthy elite.

Boat with nuclear engine will be too expensive, plus just think - how boat will enter in the ports, if it will be much larger than others. Ports have max depth for boats.  Wink

Nah, boat's so large that it is the dock. Other boats come into the big boat to move around cargo and supplies. The big boat just stays in the water 24/365.

We have nuclear powered boats, they way about half as much as these container ships but if there was a fight, I'd much rather be the guy in the aircraft carrier than the guy in the container ship.

If this is a dick measuring contest I'll put it in different terms.

The wolves are smaller and weigh less then the sheep.

But I agree, we need to build a ship regardless of all of that.
