I was really optimistic that this will happen about 3 months back but as the days pass by it looks nearly impossible that we reach 500 let alone 1000.Only a major break by whales can make it happen .

I do not think you are right . We were in dip for 1 year and the price is still falling . I think that we will stay somewhere at 7.5k-8k per bitcoin finally at the year and ethereum wont get more than 500$

I love your optimism about the bull run and possible increase in the price of ETH and BTC.
I think that with the present fud in the market and a lot of negative news about ETH scalability, I doubt if ETH will reach that figure you suggested.
Since the market is highly unpredictable and the high market volatility, there is the possibility of that price but if asked for my own opinion, I believe 2018 is the year institution wants to acquire their share of crypto and because of this, a lot of manipulation is bound to occur.
2019 will be a better year for crypto where those who didn't give up will reap part of their crypto fruit.

There's no certain news that Eth and bitcoin would have reach at that point or even break the resistance but i do hope that by next year there is a huge pump that will going to happen.

It's gonna happen in a few years later. these guys have a wrong analyzation when they are believing in ethereum and any other major crypto will recover its peak price in a short time. without a big FOMO to rush bitcoin and ethereum that will never happen. this time bitcoin looks so stable dude. i have expected a little movement on the bitcoin's price.
