its goxcoins

from reddit:
"More importantly, the ฿50,000 output here is zero transactions away from the ฿550,000 proof of reserves that Tux signed back in 2011: https://blockchain.info/address/1P3S1grZYmcqYDuaEDVDYobJ5Fx85E9fE9

That ฿550k transaction was made by Karpeles. The ฿50k output has been sitting there untouched since 2011... until today."

its gox coins, thank god someone tagged their deposit addresses to identify it as gox.. or we would start hearing how leah goodman forced dorian to hack bitcoin with a spoon and some train track to give her funds, coz dorian is just, that good. (or so the tinfoil hat people would say)

but the truth is, that gox is consolidating all its cold stores (or karpales is retiring to a white sand, clear water beach front property)

Pretty entertaining.  Start here:

https://blockchain.info/address/1KecDYadohxk8MCDqKF8SBEMhCUNveAsCj

At 2014-03-07 05:01:08 we see 200,000 coins appear.  2 hours later they get split into groups of 2.  For instance:

https://blockchain.info/tx/1dda0f8827518ce4d1d824bf7600f75ec7e199774a090a947c58a65ab63552e3

Now for the fun part.  Every hour or so (confirming), these "halfs" get split in 2 again.  Now just follow it through:
(I'll only use the bigger half for illustration)

1Nobu... gets 94,000, then

1PYAf... gets 51,000, then

1NKzK... gets 29,000, then

so on and so on and so on.  Fast forward to the current time:

15HdW... gets 12 BTC.  Waiting for confirms.

-----------------------------

How long before these 200,000 BTC get split up into 200,000 addresses by this halving procedure?

200,000 is the real number.  Not that the extra 20,000 BTC amounts to much anymore  Shocked

Tracking is so easy, even I could do it.  There must be another reason.  Theories anyone?

So explain this to me..if it was a program that is made to keep splitting them up over and over, it must ...

A) Be set to stop at some point (how many bitcoin per account before splits stops)
B) Also store or record other info and sent that somewhere.

What makes me go wow is how many addresses and keys that would be to have and keep track of, unless he wrote something to handle that as well. Even still, holy crap. Also even with all these splits the accounts can still be monitored so what is the point.

Is it ment to be able to hide keys all over the place for all these accounts and even if you lose some you may never lose it all.

Dorian Nakamoto running for the hills!  Grin

"I know you! You're that Satoshi dude."

"I just sold the farm to some Satoshi dude, sis."

"Get a load of our new slanted-eyes neighbors."

"Keep your drunkard asses and lawnmowers away from our opium field!"

"Thanks, Ma. Time to go and play with the trains now."

BTW, that's Satoshi standing sentry in front of the first every Silk Road. See the Road? Recognize the Silk?
