For some reason I can't get 4 or more GPUs to work on this motherboard in Xubuntu

Basically whenever I plug in the 4th GPU in any slot, as soon as xubuntu starts it stops loading.

Has anybody managed to get 4 or more GPUs to work in linux?

Mine works with 4 GPUs, but having the problem on the 5th ( Rev 4.0 as well ) ... but in my case seams to be happening every time use the PCIe x1 slots.

Try to use only x16 slots only.

I tried everything and the 4th GPU would never work in Xubuntu

I tried BAMT out of curosity and all 4 GPUs worked right away, no jumping needed.

What OS are you using?
