What is the best driver version to use for these cards for mining Stellite. I read somewhere that past a certain driver version would not work for mining this on windows 10? Thanks in advance

It depends on miner you use, but most CN miners needs 18.6.1 and older drivers. Probably best to use 18.6.1 or 18.5.1.

i am using cast_xmr-vega and i think 18.9.3 and having some issues. i will try older version thanks

In my experience, the best drivers for mining Monero and similar coins are Adrenalin, version 18.5.1. These are the most productive and reliable drivers, especially for R9 280/290 videocards.
