Hello, I would like to share my opinion about the Bounty and drops, because I understand that 90% come to this forum because of them. I participated in this for 2 years (2017,2018) and I want to say that this is not worth your time and attention. Previously, it was worth it, before it was possible to receive up to $ 3k per month on this, if there were ranks and desires. Now everything is maximally discounted and even people with ranks get almost nothing. A lot of tokens just do not go to the stock exchange, and those that go out, as a rule, collapse in price several times and cost a penny. My opinion - the time of drops, Bounty and Ico as a whole is long over. Do not judge strictly, this is my opinion.  P.S sorry for my English  |

Weird, I just checked your account and I don't see any post about any bounties or airdrops, is this your alt account then? Well 90% of ICO's are scams and no real life usage so it makes sense that they will have no value whatsoever except for a couple of price bumps from those pump-and-dump groups.

Now, airdrops and bounties have changed my friend. Because scammers find that way to scam like a boss via ICO projects. They are doing airdrop campaigns with referral programs. That means they will take a large number of participants. A large number of participants means your token value is small. The airdrops and bounties and not profitable in this time.

You are a bounty hunter so you really know what's happening with those today.
Most of them are scams now and can't even reach to the exchanges, they are paying their people with their tokens that really has no value and efforts are wasted for promoting them. And surprisingly the number of bounty hunters rose this year.

Yes i think now every one can make token so easy and then they make fake team and project to scam people who doesn't really understand about it. So if we want to join some bounty and airdrop we must do carefully not be be scammed and do your research about it. I think in this forum many thread that we can learn and help us to avoid scam bounty and airdrop.

I personally kinda dislike altcoin bounties and airdrops, but to be honest, I'd definitely prefer them over ICOs. The chance of the project being a scam is significantly lower in my opinion when talking about airdrops. ICOs though? That's a huge YIKES for me.
I don't think their "times are over" though. They're just going to get significantly less publicity now, but I don't see them going anywhere.

If you are a bounty hunter and you have multiple skills you can earn huge money even in a month, you can be a blogger, youtuber, social media, or translator if you can do that simultaneously with a 5-10 real projects not scam, so its a lot of works and for sure huge returns workhard is the answer bounty is still very alive at this moment.

P.S sorry for my English This is a sad fact, many bounty are terminated early, and many ICOs have declared failure. If you want to choose a bounty, please choose those that are paid weekly and listed on the exchange, at least you will not be deceived by the fake price displayed by ICO, many bounties claims to have more than $100,000 in the bounty pool, and finally all tokens sum not even worth $1,000. Unfortunately, there are still many bounty hunters who are willing to believe in false promises and work for more than three months for less than $100 token. This is a very cruel way of working. If this is not a bounty campaign, but other jobs, then in most countries this may not even reach the minimum wage. Therefore, I advise most bounty hunters not to invest all your time in the bounty. You should do more of your own work and enjoy life. Let's cheer for the end of Bounty and Ico, it will soon. |

I think he/she is previously a jr. member and part of a signature campaign but because of the new rule that a jr member needs 1 merit then he/she just demoted. I scanned his previous posts and see 1 liner and even non-sense comments. . Now everything is maximally discounted and even people with ranks get almost nothing. It just means that you need a lot of research prior joining a bounty campaign. By researching, your chance of joining a profitable bounty campaign (and not a scam) will be much higher than just randomly selecting which one to join and living all to luck. |

In the past, bounties and airdrops gives a lot of money and the scam projects were just few. But recently, a lot of scam projects have come up and doing bounties sometimes does not pay off. Airdrops especially give only a small amount of coins.

The biggest problems for bounty hunters nowadays are :
1. Many ICO's do not make it to the exchanges
2. Due to the bear market any ICO that makes it to exchanges lose value instantaneously
3. Bounty Hunters have no way to force their will. They just obey on what ICO's want them to do and they get paid in teir tokens which in most cases worth nothing .

I am not a great fan of bounty and airdrops as I believe that it is just the by-product of the process of contributing in some way. On the other hand, considering the time and resources invested, there are rare projects out there where the return on investment is satisfactory. If someone is considering bounty and a drop as their full-time job then there is much more he should do in order to gain an impressive amount.

Back during the time when bounties and airdrops are somehow profitable, most people thinks that earning money in crypto is easy as 1,2,3. You guys didn't realized that someday that will not be the situation and now most of you are crying. If you only study the risks back then, you will realized why situation like that is happening today. Move on and adjust. The market will not adjust for your own interest. |

Are Bounties worth it? If you ask at the end of 2017, absolutely. Is it worth it nowadays? apparently not, but this can change.
My advice to beginners, focus on merits rather than airdrops!

It depend on the project and the amount of money raised. If the amount raised is good enough to push the project , then you are likely to see value in the coins that you get from airdrop or bounties but if not much is raised then probably you not gona get anything of value.

Let's start with the fact that the bounty is not a job, but only an additional income for the forum users. If someone likes the project and wants to support it, then it joins the bounty program. That's all..

Well partially agree. Really Bounty is not job. Its a activities made by user to take particular project to world, and for these activities user get stake or rewards. But not all ICO are scam, 1 or 2 out of 5 are scam. Airdrop is another type of method to distribute coins on mass level to user/participants. |
