Based on personal experience, I was stupid about crypto but crypto made me curious and made me want to learn about crypto.
I tried to find discussion groups about crypto in my country but it was difficult to find them. I try to create myself with friends who like technology and we learn together about crypto. That keeps our knowledge growing when opening a small space for discussion with your friends.
What do you think, is a small space for discussion needed?

I wouldn't say that cryptocurrency requires small spaces for discussion, at least not in the physical sense. The fact that cryptocurrency is decentralized, means that there's no actual need for them.
That said, I more than welcome different communities coming together to learn and talk about crypto. There are a couple of such spaces in my country (Belgium) and they've done some really good work.
Recently a big Belgian newspaper published an article about one of these spaces and mentioned that they had successfully convinced some local shops to accept Bitcoin. It's all on a very small scale, but it's nice to know that it's very easy to meet up with like-minded individuals.

Is your country not listed on the Local section[1] of this forum? You might want to check it out. What do you think, is a small space for discussion needed?
This completely depends on you. A small discussion group might be beneficial for you but not for other people(if this is what you mean). I personally could see how it can be effective though. But if I were to have a small group, I would prefer it to be people I know personally.

It all depends on your specification. Some people learn better with like minded company, this doesn't have to be a physical relationship or mutual one.
Helpful videos and articles are made to improve the knowledge of the reader and listeners without a mutual relationship. This is a crypto community and you can always feel like a part of it, cause you are.

Anonymity happens to be one of the features of this system, most users and investors really love communication with other users but not at the expense of their identity..
There are many reasons for that, one being safety and a bid to protect their investments through anonymity or rather pseudo--anonymity..
That being said others don't actually mind physical relationships, for example in my local community here in Africa,i do meet with friends a lot and educate them on the benefits of this system, ive actually introduced those mentally capable to have an account on this platform, while I place others on read mode till I can be sure they've learned enough to own accounts,i really do not want to be a godfather to spammers
I personally have learned invaluably on this system without knowing anyone, feels so great

Almost every country in the world is represented on this forum, that alone should prove that it simply doesn't provide a small space for discussion,if you actively stay on this forum and interact and contribute effectively there will be very little need for any physical interaction considering how delicate and fraudulent the cryptocurrency sphere could be..
The whole world is represented on this forum surrounded by legends who are more that ready for quality discussions anytime, its really a big space.

Discussion is very necessary, two people can be said for discussion, but must have a brilliant idea, there are already many topics in this forum about crypto, even almost all countries discuss crypto, you and your friends can discuss in our forum.

yes sometimes someone needs that small space to discuss, because when we discuss in a smaller space, we can focus more on the material without having to receive negative news that is not responsible, we better understand what we discuss

Meetings for discussion of bitcoin in small or large spaces will be very useful if used to add knowledge and to develop existing potential, so I think that space needs to be held

You already found the best source of everything crypto so that a good start. I tried to find discussion groups about crypto in my country but it was difficult to find them. I try to create myself with friends who like technology and we learn together about crypto. That keeps our knowledge growing when opening a small space for discussion with your friends.

You didn't mentioned where you lived at so its hard to say whether you're in a friendly or hostile government. If you try to create a group for crypto discussions, I don't see anything wrong with that. Actually I'd say that its a good move on your part. You might see one day that your group will grow and at least you have help a lot of those who's willing to learn but at lost in the beginning. So yes, its beneficial and goodluck.

In the real life indeed only there was small space for cryptocurrency discussion because everyone in my country still not know what is cryptocurrency and although there was some people who already know it but seems they were ignore it because they still consider crypto is bad but i think nothing too worried about that because you can discuss and learn cryptocurrency through this forum and i'm pretty sure during that time people already increase their knowledge with joining some discuss

I would much rather focus on large group discussions on active online platforms, than having thousands of smaller platforms with inactivity. The only logical reason for smaller discussion platforms might be language issues, where people cannot speak other languages and they need a platform where they can communicate in their own native language. This forum solved this problem, by adding sub topics for several different languages, other than English. A large user base have many advantages, over a small group of people. <Example : More knowledge = faster answers to difficult questions> ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I believe one of the great aspects to crypto is its ability to be spoken about across countries, as it is the same irrelevant of your location or what language you speak. So as to small groups? I don't know about that in a tech sense but maybe in a physical sense?

Where do you live? if most of the people on your discussion doesn't have broad knowledge with bitcoin, you'll still stick to the large discussions and forum like bitcointalk.
Have you found a local board of your country here in the forum? or you can start with yourself and learn while you are here. And if you think that you had enough to share, do it to your local discussion.

We are still growing, so there will be a lot of community that is going to launch about cryptocurrency if you cannot find one in your country, then this is the right time to set up one or launch one for your generation and current users, thank you will thank you for that every country should have a forum dedicated to their local language.

Thank you for your positive response, I feel happy to express this. I come from Indonesia but not in a big city, I live in a remote village and very few people know about crypto. My country is very open to new things, even though crypto is not illegal but the government prohibits using crypto as a digital payment.
I am happy to have a small community now, even to do fiat withdrawals from crypto trading can be done with them because local ATM and bank services are far from where I live, maybe if there is someone with the same condition as me, you can create a community or small room like I did.

I am not sure that an actual discussion group is needed, but it is always nice to have a group of friends that you can talk to about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies even when you are offline, because I, too, have a friend I always talk to about everything cryptocurrency. It feels nice to learn about the digital currency with a friend, is it not?
