Next Bitcoin Bull Run Will See Crypto Market Rise ‘10x’: Pantera CIO

The co-chief investment officer of one the cryptocurrency industry’s largest investment firms said that he expects the next bitcoin bull run to carry the cryptocurrency market cap 1,000 percent above its current valuation.

Pantera Capital’s Joey Krug made this prediction during an interview with Bloomberg, forecasting that the next upswing could propel the cryptocurrency market cap to more than $2 trillion.

“If you look at that next bull run, I think the crypto space overall could hit 10x from here.”

I'm not surprised on how they shill about bitcoin because obviously they have huge investments and its taking a beating because the market suddenly plummeted  and there's no bull run in the horizon. So they started to influenced investors to put there cash by saying that bitcoin will go x10 and so on. 10x is perfectly possible. Last year (2017) the bitcoin price run up almost 20x. So it is not surprising if 10x actually happen.

he is shilling his company and advertising it by talking about bitcoin and his company is not really invested in bitcoin. it is mostly invested in altcoins and ICO and that is why it is taking a big beating and losing a lot of money which makes them desperate for a pump to come to the altcoins.
as for bitcoin bull run, it is on the horizon and it is coming. in fact this price right now is the start of the bull run since every one has always started with an accumulation phase when price stays stable.

I don't think he's necessarily shilling. I mean, he didn't say it was going to happen immediately. He just said that Bitcoin needs a catalyst for such a thing (specifically scalability and insitutional money), which is basically what everyone else is saying. The 10x figure is kind of an ass pull though, unless he mentioned other things not mentioned in the article.

I do agree with him that the market has bottomed up, and we might get to test that belief if (or when lol) Tether collapses.

He is right about the next bull run as historic charts suggest the same thing. Wisely he did not set a date as this is not easy to predict, does look it will happen this year so it's a long hodl

I dont doubt that it will happen, but when is another thing.
When it does i recon it will be big. I still think there are a lot of people waiting
to buy in as soon as there is the right movement. There are those who got
Hurt with the last rise and will want to make amends and those who missed

I completely agree with you. The number of people who fall for such stuff is laughable. I see so many people literally praying for Bitcoin to rally again like crazy, but the truth is that there will most likely be no bull run until next year most probably.

Some of my friends felt excited when Bitcoin rallied last year and began doing bounties for quick profits, but they left the market ever since the bear market got triggered this year which goes to show that you need balls of steel to survive in this market.

I agree with the Joey Krug and believe that Bitcoin next bullrun can begin as early as November after the launch of the BAKKT platform. As soon as the legal formalities are settled, large investors will immediately push the crypto market upwards.

This is prediction and if bitcoin price pump 10x, there will be no surprise at all. If some good announcement comes from big companies, then the price will go higher. Other than this, I think bitcoin take more time to pump like last year.

sometimes people reposting these articles want the same thing as the author of the article itself. they all are desperate for a price rise because that is what they want cryptocurrencies for: profit and not much else. so when the bitcoin price rise is not happening they start trying (in their own weird way) to make it happen! it won't work though...

In a market as volatile as the crypto-market, what someone thinks or predicts is nothing more than a astrological prediction regardless of the person who have said it. There is no way to say accurately that the next Bitcoin bull run will see the market to rise 10x. It may exceed it, ot it may never reach it.

A bull run is highly unlikely with Bitcoin as it had happened before but, by how much is still to be seen. These predictions or speculations about how much and when it'll happen is in the end is nothing concrete. The best idea right now is to keep an eye on the market and see the changes first hand than going on speculations and estimates.

I was lucky enough to be one of the people who made more than 800% profit on the coins I sold in the previous Bull run, so I can tell you that it is not impossible for this to happen. I am also one of the pessimists that would tell you that I do not believe that a market will recover/spike to these levels, in the same way it did when this happened in 2017.

I know there are a lot of people with big expectations, but I doubt that we will see a spike like that again in the near future.

i havent read the article yet but i think we see higher price than what the price today on december but 10x is not that realistic, it takes 300 to 500 billion of volume in the market to reach that high considering the bears are very strong.

For us to see what happened last year it will take time like 3years time, Im not expecting any double profit this year again as this year was so bad than last year and even if bitcoin does rise on price it won't be huge like last year

Holistically, Bitcoin price will soar very high by December in consolidation of 2018 and if this happen the price will be double. Saying that this will take 3years to happen is not feasible; as what happen last year is right at the corner about to happen. History can only repeat itself but not exactly, so, last year is gone and this year is ready for another bull run.

Every one is waiting for the market to be bullish but it seems current situation doesn't permit that to happen by this month. We still have 2 months left for 2018 and hopefully there should be a huge reversal happen and make us all surprise.
