Yep, by just playing Dota games here in my place, this is very common all over the Philippines where you can have 5v5 match with your friends and have some money involve so you will be more challenged playing Dota.

I remember before we travel far just to play Dota with my friends in other places and won some money because of that. This is really entertaining and it builds more solid relationship with your friends. A less risk gambling, yet the experience that you could get from this is really great.

Gambling like that I have often done with my friends who are basically just looking for fun in their spare time and not gambling to get a profit. There are many things that can be made as gambling with friends when we are together and whatever type of gambling we usually do together and what is at stake is not only money but what is a joint decision at that time, if one of us has run out of capital for bet, then we will stop playing and the results we get will usually be used together, such as to buy drinks, food, cigarettes etc.

I have those kinds of friends too that are scared to gamble their money, but who is to blame them? It's their hard work earned money, so I understand if they don't want that. Collecting funds together for just enjoyment is what makes friends closer. For my friends that have no money anymore, sometimes we contribute so that friend, who has no money, would get the chance to play or gamble too. It's just bonding.

Hmm, I feel that too sometimes if one of your friends has no much money but you see that he is losing. It doesn't feel right, but that's what improves people. They need to know that they should up their game at the pace that our friends are playing. It's fun to have a tournament with friends and the teasing is what makes it more fun, making sure that they are a sport and not a killjoy.

One of the multiplayer game I like to do bet with friends is NFS which is very fun to play and we can play among our friends too which kind of gambling needs our skills to win,its not a luck based game,if we can drive faster than others then we can bad the money.But it looks like childish now so not even playing those games by myself now because feeling matured.

I do like Need for speed too, and I started playing that franchise when it was NFS Underground, and I only used the first starting car almost until the end of the game. But what I like most about it is the NFS Most wanted, earning stars and just running away from the police there, it's thrilling. I haven't tried betting with money on NFS, but it's interesting to do, I gotta buy that game. lol.

No, I don't make a competition or join in the network to play with the other people. Games like Dota, Warcraft will always need an internet connection because those are network-based where people will join from different parts of the world. For NFS there is no need for any internet connection there are so many levels which we can people them as many times as possible.

You have already come up with it, I think it would be an interesting game to play especially when people have already cope up with it. There could be simple rules to follow and how much is at stake limit. That's a great idea.

The problem that the house usually face in this kind of game is if the slots is not filled up. So lets say only 50% of the slots we're paid and when the game is over and someone was able to hit the correct number combination, house will pay using his own money since not all slots we're taken. It's going to be hard to refund all of them if slots are not filled.

The thing is gambling with friends while playing some games is basically fun and the idea of gambling in this case is to just add to the fun, which sometimes is all about the skills in the games you guys are playing. I would not say luck may not be a party to it sometimes too, but it is somehow still linked with your skills in the game. I have played need for speed with friends too as well, as well as FIFA, which can be quite interesting knowing you have something to lose on the table and you really want to prove yourself worthy of having the winning.

I agree with that, having a tournament with the circle of your friends but I just don't find them as a source of money if ever you know that you can take advantage of their skills in the games that you've been playing with. I also felt the trash talk when, I remember those days when I'm the weakest and I can't even play good with AWP so basically they are teasing me and asking me to use it during friendly match with small bet on it. I'm getting old, I feel nostalgia remembering those good old days.

Even before I have come to know about structured form of gambling that we know today, I have known gambling to be part of our daily ife and from something so simple. In the past, growing up, we have bet on who will get home first, bet on who will finish his food first, bet on whether it will rain or not to the extent of whether we will be given money by a visitor or not. Recently, I have seen myself and colleagues bet on whether an information to be sought from an external party would be confirm our initial position or not.

What you are telling is the starting point of gambling. First it starts with fun and when this fun becomes regular it gets addicted and then you start to go for real gambling. So it is better to have healthy game bets and dont include any money or stuff. Let it be small as in start it is small and then it goes big you wont be knowing it.

Here in my place we have group with many boys and girls that always do play basketball,dota all stars and counter strike with bet of course so we are serious because of that then while having so much fun everytime we do play and all of us friends actually then no need to think find other people to gamble with so we are secure so better to create group another thing we play basketball for our church like we bet some money by that then after the game we give some money to church and in caretaker of church for the construction or to build this more

I can't believe that you have games with boys and girls. I do that only when we are playing outside our houses, either badminton or dodgeball, depending on the game. I haven't thought of betting with those kinds of games. For basketball, I know people will play with wagers, whether they are going to be the ones paying for the court or something close to that.

So it's quite similar with predicting the scores in football. I think the easy way to fix that just adjusts the winning prize so that it would satisfy what the players give. Probably only one slot per member and giving the chance that the money grows (if it's not won by a player)

Yeah, I miss those days thay we are covered with sweat being punished and always being scolded by our parents saying that we are all focused on playing and using our money to play and it will not give us great things in the future.

They might be right but that is part of childhood. I even bet something when my classmates are throwing stones at a sign. We bet whoever hit the sign will be taking all of our snacks, someone did and we are called at our baranggay for that.

Hey yes I used to do it with my friends and sometimes with total strangers, we used to play counter strike back then and sometimes we gambled within our inner circle, and at times when we met new people we pitched them the idea and they joined in. When we were indoors we used to gamble on Fifa games on ps2 and Ps3, but those was back in the past now we stick to sports or casino bets. As for the money we made I won't call it a fortune, let's just say extra income to keep one going.

How to not miss them? Like you are saying, that was entertainment, nothing can come close to that this days. We played tekken, mortal combat, boxing, need for speed, other driving games, but mostly we played soccer.That times will never return, carefree times, it was nice to win, but it was all about fun and spending good time with friends, always with some beers and snacks. I have only done this once with friends and it can be pretty interesting but it was soccer. FIFA 18, and then we decided to just go the betting style. Men, it was like a thug of war, the adrenaline rush, it was really crazy and fun at the same time.

The most important thing is to see it as fun, but the thing with the money part of it is that, that motivation to win is something that would always make you to want to try your best, but sometimes, asides the skills in playing, luck too can really be a case some times.
