Yes we did in our region online games are popularized because of betting..some computer shop owners like me are organizing competitions for their active and good players in every chosen games like Dota and League of Legends and now theres a new one called Rules of Survival in which every participants must provide same amount as each others and if all bets are collected then the teams will be created and the fight will start,the best team will bring the Prize

Another one is Mobile Legends in which we as friends in our free time or even my office mate plays this with Pot for the best players

That's a good practice for competitions especially when there is an outstanding player. I have seen much local competition in my place, but there are known players that stand out. Well, I love to play with them just because I could learn so much. Anyways, I don't like Rules of Survival because it copied PubG.

There are a lot of chances that people can gamble, like when you try a drinking game, where you watch a movie, and you are going to drink when that character do a specific thing or something like that. I have done that, and it's entertaining but it's not that common to do anymore

I have a lot of multiplayer games in my PS4, like Tekken, UFC, Injustice, etc. My friends and I don't go to competitions, but we make our own, we start betting stuff or sometimes just money with whoever who wins the bracket.

Has anyone made a simple competition with friends and won a lot of money? Or something out of the ordinary, instead of playing in the casino but still having the chance to earn money. Share your thoughts.

Actually I forget I did bet money a few times with friends.  Once was when we had a Fifa tournament single elimination 1v1 but the prize was still really low.  It doesn't feel as bad losing money when you know its going to one of your friends as well.

It is so much fun and also that the money is not only going towards a friend but also that you are not really losing that much since it's just a friendly bet.

Another fun thing about friendly bets is that it can be with other things different than money. I participated in some and won most, what i find particularly fun is that my father once won 1kg of cheese and 1 or 2 boxes of beer in one.

That must not be fair. We just need a gambling house only for providing the platform for us but they are becoming a playing partner too.

Exactly mate playing with individuals out of house gives us the benefits of winning fairly and equally since we mostly played with small amount depends on the occasion

Hmm, I think it would be harder for you to come out of gambling if you are used to it already. If not, maybe you could still control with yourself. With money and games, that's one of the most entertaining stuff that you could do, in my opinion. If the gambling between you and your friends are fair, it will likely be more exciting.

I know that feeling. It's like a victory celebration with those people who you have beaten and enjoyed the competitiveness and also the sportsmanship together. It is definitely one of the definition of Happy Gambling. I think addicts are happy when gambling because that's what they always want to do.

Hmm, we do the usualas well, betting on UFC fights, basketball games and the alike. But there was a time when my friends and I got a small competition in our school which is related to our midterm exam. The one who got the lowest score will treat us in a restaurant. I'm not the lowest that time so for me it was a fun experience after all .

I have tried it, and it gave me a lot of headaches, and it's the hangover that sucks in the morning. Very hard to make it stop, but the trick to that is you have to stay hydrated. That's what I learned in the long run.

I must say this because it's important. Console Gamers / PC Gamers and Mobile "Gamers" are very different stories, for me. I'm not sure with others, but there's a big difference for me. With the games you are trying to play and what to do. You got to put in those hours to be a gamer, meanwhile, in mobile, you would download the game, and you could consider yourself a gamer. (I do not hate on mobile games, I just happened to know someone who calls himself a hardcore gamer but plays in mobile)

Yes its more fun to play with your friends since you already know each other and you know also that money can’t buy that hapiness just make sure you still control yourself or else your friendship will be ruin. Ooof. I remember that feeling, and it happened to me recently. Do you know John? Johnnie Walker? Lol. I think beer is also okay. I like the caramel beer too. It’s funny how you define “dead plants”, I’m thinking about it when you can no longer walk and even speak type.

Well, if you are not that selfish, then you could share more. That’s what I do sometimes, and I think that’s why I still have my friends wanting to bet with me. I don’t get what the grades have to do with having a higher score. I’m confused.

They have different mindset from us. IIRC they have a different part in their brain activated, I’m not sure if it is the hippocampus but the main reason that they want to continue gambling because they want that part of their brain to be activated. I think everyones goal is to win, some of the addicts just can’t handle losses and wants to continue gambling thinking they can have more.

Yeah there's definitely different mindsets about gambling just like with everything.

The healthier approach from my point of view is definitely seeing it like a video game room where you pay to play and have fun and you don't expect to get your money back, with the different that here you have a small chance of getting something to play more or retire if you get tired for the day.
