Have heard of crypto at 39%. It could be true. I'm more interested on those who are actually in the crypto space as to how many percent at this time.
Q2 of 2017, some articles said that only 3%-5% are actually into crypto.

That is, the study suggests that 39 percent of Chileans have only heard about cryptocurrency, but it is not given how many percent are users of cryptocurrency. I think it will be a very small percentage. And we argue about when cryptocurrency will replace cash. In this country, the cryptocurrency will still be introduced for decades.

And for sure, the main reason why it goes up was happened in Q4. Lol. But sadly, right after the rally, some of them lost interest.

39% is a very high number and is a very good progress. When viewed from the percentage, maybe only 15% know crypto in my country, with that number it can be seen that most of them do not know what bitcoin and crypto are.

Definitely it is a happy news that 39%of Chilean knows about cryptocurrency. I guess popularity need to be increased in all the countries yes especially educated people only knows about it and how it works the maximum numbers don't know anything. Make them understand about this wonderful part of trading and make it famous across the globe then automatically the heat will turn up in this technology.

So I guess time to make them use. If we can't reach mass adoption it'll be just weird memory in minds.

to hear about cryptocurrency is not important. people hear about a lot of things in passing and that percentage may even be higher than 30%. the important percentage is how many people actually know about cryptocurrency, how many of those are willing to buy it and how many are buying because they understand what is going on not because they saw altcoin pumps and want to be rich.

This is not surprising. This is indeed true. When everyone knows about cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin will cost hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. The cryptocurrency is a high IQ group, and many people are unknown to him.

Too early for Cryptocurrencies. People began to learn gradually. People around the world are increasing awareness day by day. In many countries Bitcoin and crypto coins were heard and started to be used. I expect this rate to increase in a few years.

Perhaps this percentage only shows people who have heard about cryptocurrency, but has nothing to know about it. people up to 30 years more often heard about the crypto-market and minimally understand what it is and how it works. and if you ask people who are over 30, 1 out of 100 will know about this technology, 10 people have only heard about it but don’t know anything about technology, the rest do not know what the word is)

It is good to know that awareness about crypto currencies is growing i mean we have seen studies couple years ago that shown even below 10% results, so maybe in couple more years everyone will know about crypto which is a very healthy sign.

these percentages are never accurate in my opinion. and every time i check them out i see the groups are too focused and it makes the result biased. the number of people who have heard about bitcoin is not even that high let alone the whole thing about cryptocurrency. last year we had the biggest awareness increase so far but that still wasn't enough to make anything major happen.

Unfortunately it is not enough. I think if you look at the stats about people that are using crypto currencies, you will find around 1-2 percent of humanity is using crypto currencies. We need to have about 30-40 percent to become mass adopted.

I think that is a huge awareness in there. 39% is a large amount of population so I feel that the moment that crypto gets easier to use for people, it may be a great situation.

It is really a very high number, when you have to consider the demographics, accessibility, education and literacy within the country as a whole, and to still be able to cough out 39% who have heard of cryptocurrency, it is not bad. However, we are talking about heard here now, not like those who are actually into crypto. It is one thing to hear about something and it is another thing to key into what you have heard about. With the way news about the crypto space are spreading daily, I doubt no one conversant with listening to news or reading what it going on around them would not have one way or the other heard about cryptocurrency.

Well, that is just only a study applicable to Chile, but really, to look at the statistics and the fact that we are still in an early phase, it is not a bad one at all. 39% as far as I am concerned is a pretty good start and I know as time goes on, there would be more people who will want to be a part of the cryptocurrency space both in Chile and in the whole world entirely. For most part when we are looking at the global space entirely, it is still a little bit low and I am sure we are not even close to 5% globally, so which means we still have a long way to go, but we are going to get there.

I think the level of awareness about crypto in Chile is cool but don't know what percentage is actually using cryptocurrency there yet..... What is available in Africa is far below 39%, the level of awareness here is very low and the government is not even helping the situation cuz of the lackadaisical attitude towards cryptocurrency. I hope the situation changes as we continue to have more indigenious coins in sub sahara Africa

Ofcourse, I think cryptocurrency awareness need to be conducted in shopping malls as most of them spend time in weekends. Well popularity matters in marketing as much you do it will automatically increase.

It is a possibility as there are still large amount of community in the world who has no access to the internet nor any other sorts of media specially in rural countries or countries with constant civil wars or acts of terrorism not to mention the countries that control the flow of media. Also take into account the people who are not really open minded about cryptocurrency so that percentage could grow in a gr3at margin.
