A strong team behind the ICO gives you probability to conclude projects future, If the ICO not showing the team behind their project then its become very riskier to invest in this kind of projects. Its better to not support projects with Anonymous Teams as there are chances of losses always on the head of investor take example of recent ICO IONCHAIN, The concept of the project was looking promising & a lot investors invested. Later what happened they launched their token on Idex exchange in middle of their Main ICO & were selling their unsold token which they were suppose to burn. nowadays it is very difficult to choose a project that is really promising and good for us. even though we have made the most accurate decision it still ends in fraud.

I think not most of ICOs to hide identities of their team members. There are some ICOs showing the team identities, commonly they enclose the link of their linkedin accounts and social media.

If you ask me about "review the team info is necessary or not", I strongly say that it is very necessary. For me, it is the most crucial factor that determine the success of an ICO. some scams use photos taken from other project teams. some project that caught the scam also based on team photos and background profiles of the team project. then it is important to examine more thoroughly the team of the project. the issue of the composition of the team make investors come be a part of marketing.

Exactly, Team verification before investment is necessary to tackle with fraudulent ICOs. In team verification you can check in brief information about team members like their proffessinal association with organization's and educational details. This brief information is not enough you should also check engagement of community manager, developer and CEO etc this shows their passion about the project to make their project successful. If you found poor presence of the team members in social media community than avoid this kind of projects. Don't invest in project which have anonymous team members and developers as this kind of projects have higher probability of turning out to be scam. Once scam happens you can not take any legal action against them and you will have to bear the losses.
